Hi!
I've got a CD and its all over in Arabic except the short intro on the cover which is in English.
Fortunately all the titles of the songs are also written with Latin letters. I tried on my own with a help from internet but could translate only 2 of them
So can someone give me hand with the others, please?
Ya Nassima Douja
La Tass'alouni = don't ask me
Kad Ataka Ya'tazirou
Ya Aakidal Hajibayni
Rudani Ela Biladi = take me back to my home land
Assidat Loubnan = poem for Lebanon
Almahaba= Love (more like friendship, brotherhood, it's the concept of Love between humans)
Many thanks in advance
I tried as much as I can, some of my (litteral) translation sounds maybe a bit weird to you ...and also to me.
I hope that someone else will try too...
by the way what kind of music it is?

So it is all stations go then??
This is great news. Looking forward to hearing all about it! I bet the Pennimans will make it a "let's visit family" summer holiday thing too, so they will probably all be there for this gig! All the cousins and aunts and uncles in Lebanon:naughty: Should be quite a show!
Exactly:naughty:...that must be something...
I am sure it will be a special show, the location is central and amazing...
To be honest, that is what frustrates me the most!!! if it would have been the Biel i wouldn't have cared that much....
but with all the meaning and the symbol that have this place:
Mika+ Martyrs'Square= MAGIC!
-
I am like that as well... at least in this gig you can pay for the comfort of an assigned seat..Yeah,guess its swings and roundabouts, still a lot of money, but so is Down Town, although I am determined to go have a coffee in one of the cafes this year, even if it does cost $15
That's Lebanon...everything has a price
-
Kikou tout le monde!!
j'espère que vs vs portez bien!!
j'ai une petite question pr les parisiennes:
est-ce que le siège d'Universal est ds le 5ème???
-
wow.... he's going pricey.. or better, the festival organisers are..
well, i hope for middle eastern people (blond or not ) this is true
the price is from 30 to 150 euros.
for the blond people, my dad is blond (now grey) and my grand father was blond with green eyes:bleh:
u really should visit lebanon;)
-
Oh well i dunno where she got this information but yesterday i did a search about the gig and i read in ''l'Orient le jour'' that the tickets will be on sale starting june 10 well anyway 6 or 10 june it's all the same the 15000 tickets won't disappear in 4 days...well i dunno seeing it's Mika coming... well i really don't know as for me my parents are there so i can tell my mom to buy me my ticket she might even come with me even though she's 61
mmmmmm justement c'est Mika (i'm talking about the tickets ...& ur mom too)
you know how proud lebanese are of their fellows & how many lebanese were waiting for all the situation calm down to go back there during the summer so....
& i remember for the bercy gig in Paris, more than 15000 seats were sold within 48h & for the extra date (Paris toujours) it was in a few hours....
but now the real question: WHO WILL HAVE THE HONOUR TO POST THE 1000th in this thread????
-
Hope u will all have fun, & i'm sure u will!!!
we will be waiting for all the news reports and pics!!!
u will be our special reporters
but Cubs, Racha wrote in the other thread that pre-sales will start on 6th june not 10th.
-
everything is just GREAT i just have an excellent summer waiting for me just a note to everyone...The Tickets will be on sale starting June 10 , and they will be on sale in all the VIRGIN megastore branches ! Mika's concert is co-organised by both beiteddine and baalbeck international festival comitee and will take place in the MARTYR'S SQUARE in Beirut's down town on the 27th of july the place is huuuuge the concert will be open for up to 15.000 people
Seeing as I'll be in lebanon this summer...i'll for sure try to make a full report and post pictures of the event !
Martyr's square.....27th july........I wanna go to Lebanon!!!!!!!
-
WAW that would be a GREAT news if it's confirmed!
but I really hope it would be for next year also, in order to be there!!!
-
The leb night life ahhhh I miss Lebanon
festivals generally begin mid july....still 2 months...why not for beiteddine & baalback...
but it's gonna be hard for jounieh, byblos & batroun..
keep my fingers crossed too!
-
I hope ur right Racha... I hope there would be enfin a good/calm summer season in Lebanon...
It's just a beginning, but it's a good beginning...

I didnt know about this thread!! I arrive 1,5 month later:bleh:
I was a big NKOTB fan much more than a Mika one:bleh: with all the craziness around!! i even bought their last album "face to the music" .
i was very happy when i knew they will re-unite, quite unbelievable after all that time!
My favorite was Joey, & Jordan wasnt bad too:wink2:
do you know if they are gonna record a new album? or just sing their old song?
-
