No I wasn't the one to complain but I do know that there was more than 1 complaint, It wasn't just about you being wasted it was some of your group being abusive to some of the students. you need to get a grip and actually admit that you were in the wrong? Takes a big man to admit, a weak man to blame everyone else. By the way, you already kind of dropped your mates in it by saying "the newcastle lot were drunk but you werent" Loyal? no! Trying to extricate yourself from the situation? Yes! I'm not getting into a slanging match about it, this will be my last post on the subject, people on here should be aware of the situation and stop behaving like someone died!

NOBODY DIED! you people need to take some responsibility for your behaviour on the night and stop trying to be some kind of heroes, hard done to and victimised. You were all absolutely wasted!! You remember the girl in the blue that took a photo of you all? My friends and I were stood next to them, we were all disgusted and embarrassed for you all! You really do need to stop this whole victim thing now, you have nobody to blame but yourselves...the security were just doing their job and a b****y good one at that!

Thank you Leigh, as I said I have been reading the forum for a couple of months now, a lot of it has been helpful and informative, some of it has made me smile and some has made me wonder what the hell is going on lol but some of it today has turned me right off and I don't think I will be bothering much anymore

Ok I'm getting a little ticked off with this now, I do not like the feeling that I am being interogatted, Robertina, yes they were the shoes she was wearing, Freddie was wearing pink with a huge pink, (homemade) tie, Kata had pigtails, they were all wearing very, very bright clothes and 1 was carrying a hat with lollipops attached! Happy??!! No I did not get close enough to notice eye colour or any 5 o'clock shadow!! (just in case that was going to be your next question) I recognised them from the forum and was going to say hello until I realised the state they were in and decided against it! As for the amount of people at the gig I was far too busy enjoying Mika to go around counting every last person there!!

Trust me, they are the same people, Andi, Ali, Freddie and Kata, I have been reading the posts on this site for a couple of months but only signed up today so that I could post. I understand that what you say that they are all lovely people and I'm sure you are not wrong, I am purely telling you what happened and you will also get the same if you choose to call up the Uni. I do actually feel sorry that they did not catch the gig as it was the best I have ever seen and I have been to many many gigs over the years, Mika is outstanding and all this is possibly taking away the reason we were all there in the first place.

I do not come on this site to make friends, purely to hear about Mika. Jengafer, you have the right idea, you can see my posting for what it is, just 1 account of what happened last night, how people choose to interpret that is up to them, and some are obviously choosing to shoot the messenger. Last night is unfortunately what happened in the real world, Looby 1173 not on a cyber space forum, thats what people need to remember.

nothing brave about posting on a forum..just trying to set the record straight, I was there last night and feel that the group are almost being martyed on here when in actual fact they deserved it. I do agree however that they should all be able to put their side and as for judging..none of us should judge anyone. I'm sure if anyone really wanted to know the facts they could call Leeds Uni and they would be told the true story.

Regarding the members that were refused enrty, I feel I must speak out. They WERE very drunk, but that wasn't the sole reason for refusal. a number of the group were abusive to some of the students in the University bar..this was reported by the students to security in the bar which was then communicated to security on the door. To be honest they were not doing themselves any favours and the security were correct in refusing them as they had thousands of other people to think about. Yes it is sad that they did not get to see the gig but you can NOT go around in a drunken state being abusive to people and hope to get away with it. Perhaps this is a lesson learnt for future gigs?!
