  2. I was actually in shock when I saw the thread posted about a rumour that Mikey had left the band

It was almost devastating!! To think that the next gig you go to, there would be no more Mikey (or any of the band members) doing their solo or seeing that Mika-band member interaction anymore.

Would the drum solo be the same if it wasn't Cherisse and Mika battling it out and watching Mika pour water on Cherisse while she doesn't expect it....

Would the Mika-Mikey bum wiggle be the same in Big Girl?

Would the new keyboard player be able to hit that right note on the keyboard during Grace Kelly when Mika can't get it? :roftl:

And would Love Today sound the same if Martin didn't get his solo on the acoustic guitar?

Sure I think we may be too attached to the band members but honestly, there has never been a solo artist with a band that is more a part of the artists performance than Mika's band....

Most bands are just there to back the artist (just my opinion...) and aren't incorporated as a part of the act.

We all know what song features which band member and look forward to the live performance because of that special moment....

I also realize, like everyone has said, that this is not the first band for these members and it may not be their last. I just want to live in the moment and enjoy them being part of Mika's band and not worry about it until I absolutely have to :naughty:

    Just my two cents...:wink2:

    I aggree m8

  3. This is really interesting, I never knew this! Thanks :thumb_yello: I always had hazel-brown eyes, and then I lived in Spain for a year (I'm Irish... I don't know if the increase in sunlight affected my eyes) and my eyes got lighter and lighter until towards the end of that year they were mostly green... 2 years later, they're still this green colour... People who only know me since then can't believe it when i tell them that my eyes used to be nearly brown!

When i was young my eyes were blue and when i hit teens they went green.

    Very wierd:blink:

  4. CONTACT MUSIC

    07/02/2007

British music sensation MIKA insists overnight fame hasn't sorted out his love problems - he still can't get a date. The flamboyant pop performer may be reaping the success hit single GRACE KELLY has given him in Britain, but insists the lack of romance is "depressing".

He explains, "I may be getting famous now but no one wants to go out with me. In fact, no one has ever really wanted to go on a date with me.

"I've got no date for Valentines Day either - it's a bit depressing to be honest."

Poor lil mite! Id date you Mika! Im 21, id luk afta you, play guitar to you, giv you bak massarges. Woteva you like xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  5. Id take him to Mangiamos. Thats my favourite restaurant. I know that my friend would look after us there. Carmelo alredy knows what id be havin. ( Not sayin that i go there often:fisch: )

I know that Mika would love it there as they do alot of different pasta stuff.

After Mangiamos id take him to my local. It is a nise village pub that olney the locals know about. You get no truble there.

  6. Mika is only 24. I know a lot of young men these days, are fathers by the time they are out of their teens, but Mika is wiser than that. There is plenty of time for him to have a family. He could be in his thirties when that happens and he'd still have time, and when he IS ready for children, he'll be a great Daddy, because he will have waited until the time is right.

Look, I have to say, it worries me when young girls put their lives on hold, because they want to meet a popstar they have come to love, but don't really know. In my day, it was Elvis Presley, or John Lennon or Paul McCartney. Of course, those stars eventually found someone to marry, but it meant that millions more girls were heartbroken. :mf_rosetinted:

It's not good to be that obsessed with a pop star. Yes, you could be the one he chooses, but it's more likely you will not be. Make sure you live your life. Enjoy Mika and his music, but leave room in your life for friends, and go out on dates with boys who are available.

I have a wonderful, ordinary husband. If Mika walked in my house, he'd get a cup of tea and a hot meal I'd care for him like a mother would, but I wouldn't cheat on my husband with Mika, because, with my husband, I have my life and our memories. You can have the same thing. So please, keep your options open :thumb_yello:

too rite. Its like when mum was young it was Cliff Richard that she loved and she still does. She has brought me up with him and i love him also. It dont mean that mum would go with him because she loves dad.
