We've had 100km+ winds.. Adelaide had 137km winds I think.

It's a Dust storm.. Tassie's on Hurricane alert.

2 people have died.

We've been reporting it all in here..

Bec had bus dramas and now Scut's stuck in the City..

Not a good day to go anywhere.

i've spent the last 3 months on and off with throat infections

Right I'm back... bus wasn't there and there was a huge line....

 

But Dad called me back and said he'd pick me up from uni.

 

Also the construction worker who died, that was right nextto dads work. The building they were building collapsed... he told me on the phone just then.....

 

His going to call me when he gets close, since it could be 15 mins - an hour depending on how bad the traffic is.

Thanks... I'm really beginning to worry about my avator...didn't even call in sick today, though it sent a text saying its phone line was down. This crazy weathers gotten to it as well

The wind is supposed to settle sometime this evening, but traffic is still going to be pure hell...

it is weird weather considering last week we were in a major heat wave now where freezing are buts off

i beleieve vic and tas have never had a hurricane alert

I'm beginning to think we should be... I wish I had my camera (except it'd probably be lifted out of my hands)... this huge tree has fallen down at uni and on the road where I park all the little trees have dropped branches all over the road, and there's pine furs everywhere... hard to see the road.

 

And the what bus (which we passed on our long, getting lost, detour, is not moving anywhere since it has a tree branch right over its front area... windshield, roof etc

i know its very grey, muggy and extremely windy outside im not allowed outdoors in windy weather i tend to move with the wind:thumbdown:

Everyone be careful travelling as the promised gale force winds have finally hit.....blackouts, traffic lights, and boomgates are out in some parts of the North and lots of trees are down everywhere.

you go to a wedding reception and when the DJ plays "Grace Kelly", hundreds of pairs of eyes stare at you, just waiting to see you get on the dance floor.

oh i know this one all to well at my sisters wedding the dj kept on playing love today for every second song the groomesman is in love with the song. towards the end of the night he played grace kelly, big girl and happy ending of course i was the only one singing and peps really do stare at you

lucky. I'd love to go and experience something new - never been to France and would love to travel to see Mika - but unfortunately I live in a bubble (well actually it's more like JAIL) and live with an overprotective mother who wouldn't want me wandering off with a "bunch of strangers from the net" and would moan about how I'm "spending out so much money" even though I'm 18 and supposed to do WHAT THE BLOODY HELL I LIKE.
