  1. YES HE DOES!!!! :roftl:

THAT is so cute!!! I have always heard that twins 'think' just alike (as in what your responses would be) is that completely true? :biggrin2:

Sometimes we finish eachother's sentences like when we're telling a story and what not.

The other day in our first day of metalsmithing class (when the class was over) we each thought this guy really looked like a guy in a music video and we both said it at the same time.

Don't know all the stuff about if we're in two different places and one of us gets hurt does the other twin feel the pain too. It may work for some people but we just think that's bull.:naughty:

  2. I tweeted him the SAME thing about NYC - cause Brianna NEEDS to see it firsthand TOO!!!! :naughty:

Yes Yes Yes! He needs to wear it everynight of his tour!!!!:naughty:

This is highly random (and I'm sorry to go off topic :teehee:) but I've always wondered since you have a joint account. (As on facebook, I've seen, and I'm sure in other places as well.) Who types? :naughty: Is it always the same person or do you take turns?

We take turns.:roftl: It's tons easier having the joint accounts because we almost always have the same things to say/type.

  3. I hate that credit cards seem to be the most common way to pay for stuff online. :aah:

    I want that single. XD

Maybe if I ask nicely my dad will lend me his credit card. Again. :aah:

Yeah, we're 23 and don't have a credit card. A lot of people do. We always have to borrow someones and pay them back. Like our dad had to buy our Chicago tickets and we have to pay him back. We always feel like it's so stressful. We need this vinyl!!!!!!!!!!1:shocked:

  4. Yay, I'm glad you guys are game for the bracelets. Should we do one color per person? or each does technicolor?

For a hundred (seems like they sell them in bulk at alot of sites) it's $14 If we each get 5 bracelets (random number) than that's enough for 20 mfc members.

We are so game for this. Loved the glowing eyeglasses they have also. I wonder though if I got them they wouldn't fit over my eye glasses.

Not as cold as Feb. that's for sure :aah:

They come assorted...5 colors (pink, orange, green, blue and purple)

Yeah that was so COLD weather. Oh my! Our cousin and us stayed over in Chicago that night and went home the next day (also went to the art museum. We only had flats on!!! There was snow snow snow everywhere. It was so worth it though. Love Mika and Love Chicago.:wub2:

This is probably a stupid qustion, but I just have to make sure. There is no specific seating right? You just wait in line? Because my sister just printed her ticket out, and it has a seat and row number on it, but it still says G.A. I don't know if they all have that or what because my ticket hasn't come in the mail yet.

It said on my email after we ordered the tickets that our tickets would be mailed out till 3 weeks before the concert AND you have to sign for them. It says GA on the email. That is why we want to get there early to get a good seat but we want to stand and talk to you all too.

  5. Whoever's gonna be first, I'm there with you. Seriously, I'm so sick of waiting on my friends and never ending up in front. ugh :aah: So let's do 1 at the earliest (?). It's going to be cold. Because it's cold right now and its not even officially Autumn yet. This weather is so random. I'm determined to be right below him while he performs. :teehee:

P.S. I think I'm going to order glow bracelets for myself. I might just wear one color. I like to keep it simple :naughty::roftl: Wouldn't it be cool if all of the mfc members going to the show ended up in the front row and we were a glowing rainbow wave? :roftl:

Yeah we are going to try and get there as soon as possible. We want to be in front too. Last time we spent the whole time like 4 rows back standing on some ledge thing.:sneaky2:

oooh that would be so cool with the glow bracelets. We so wanna do that. Any place you have in mind to order them from?

  6. So if we get there around 1 or 2, we won't get stuck in the back and we might get to meet some of you guys? :biggrin2:

Edit: not that I care so much about being up front I will just be happy to be there of course

So why don't we try and all get there around 1:00, 1:30, or 2:00?? That way we can be get there all at the same time so we can chat and what not.

  7. HEY YA'LL!

So this is going to be my first Mika concert! I am so excited!!! My best friend Ariel and I fell in love with him last summer and we have been waiting for this moment since day one!!! So I guess the question I pose to those of you that have seen him before is... Is there a meet and greet before the concert? Do some of the fans get together before hand? What is the whole experience like? Okay... so that is like three questions so pick and choose! :blush-anim-cl:

    Hope everyone is well!

    Chad

Hi Chad! Welcome to the MFC. Last time we went to Chicago to see him, there was a big old blizzard coming our way and he left right after. So there was no meet and greet. Hopefully there will be one this time. Plus Mika doesn't have a show the day after.:wub2: Fans do get together a lot. At HOB we weren't surrounded by MFCers. We wish we were. Didn't get the free pass thing that was going on at the time so we didn't get to wait inside were a lot of the MFCers were. We remember at HOB that before hand a lot of people exchanged cell phone numbers so we could keep in touch as to where everyone was at that day.

Since we didn't get to wait inside. Lets just say it was Feb. and it was cold, and spitting snow and rain. We started wait at 2p.m. and doors didn't open till 6. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!:roftl:

    Guys, be careful.

If some of you are among the first 10-15 in line and another MFCer turns up hours and hours later and joins you at the front, you're going to cause an outright war in the queue.

That's not fair to other fans who wait hours and hours for someone to walk in off the street and get in front of them.

Yeah we get what you mean, but we at least wanted to save a couple spots for the people we have wanted to meet. At HOB we didn't get to meet hardly any MFCers.

Leonita, we talked to you when we were at HOB didn't we? Hope we can get to meet you.:thumb_yello:

  8. Hello Chicago concert-goers!!

The Riv is about 1 mile straight south of my apartment.

It's not the greatest area of the city, but not that scary, either.

The closest redline el stop is Lawrence-only 1 block away.

Tuesday nights in Uptown aren't usually that wild, so I wouldn't worry.

Last February in Chicago (it was also on a Tuesday) , weather was bad, there was a blizzard/storm on the way, so he left immediately after the show

    (so they tell us).

I was in line inside from about noon on, met some others from MFC. (I had my umbrella & blanket, was prepared to wait outside all day!) In line, many people signed a fabric sign, but I didn't get a chance to give it to him.

    MUST meet him this year!

We definitely have to meet up!

    Leona

Hey!!! We SO want to meet him too! Were you in line at HOB inside or outside? We were first in line outside. We met a few MFC'ers but not that much. We didn't get to sign the sign. That's awesome that you live like a mile away.

We should all definitely meet up.....with Mika. There better not be a blizzard this year!

  9. I am not sure if I am ditching my student teaching or not...I am considering it because I don't think we'd make it in time. I teach from 8-12:30pm and seeing as it's 7 hours...well, it would be a stetch.

Thanks again Twins. My dad and sister are the only ones coming with me. Usually when I save spots I tell the people behind me that I have other people coming so they are at least aware that others will be joining the line.

oh yeah. that's what we'd do. so if we get there early, which we know we probably will, we'll definitely save some spots.:thumb_yello:

We have a teaching class (education) also. hopefully we'll get to student teach in some art classes. that's on mon. morning.

  10. How many people would you consider "acceptable" to cut in line? I think I just narrowed it down to four people!

We think 5 or 6 would be acceptable. If people would get mad we could always say you were here and that you just went walking for a bit.:roftl::roftl:

We've got a class on Monday morning and if our dad drives us (wish we could go Monday afternoon or evening and stay so that we'd be in Chicago on October 20th):naughty:. We've got two classes on Tuesday but are soooo ditching them for this.

  11. Aww really?? I'd love to take you up on that offer, but i've got a rather large group coming with me, I don't think it'd be fair to just show up and cut in line with 8 people...

    True...:naughty:

Thank you, girls! You're the best. <3 I will try to find out closer to the time when we plan to get there. I would love to hang with you guys before the show. It's about time we met in person!

You're welcome. We know it's farther for you than it is for us. It's only about 3 hours.

Can't wait to meet you all!!!!!!!!!!!!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

  12. Hopefully I'll be joining you guys in the front row. How early did you guys queue for the HOB?

Well we were first in line outside the venue.....but they had some pass the line thing that we didn't know about that day. Evidently if you had ate something in the HOB restaurant before 2:00 that day then you got to wait inside. There were probably 40 people inside.....so that kinda sucked. I think we got there at 2.....of course.

Mika better do a meet and greet this time around. Haven't gotten to meet him yet.:blush-anim-cl:

  13. Got our tix. We didn't have a credit card, so our Dad let us use his....thank god. He MIGHT go with us (drive with us.....he knows we Love Mika but doesn't wan't to see him, lol). So if he doesn't go we'll be by ourselves. Wish we could all meet up at the same time, or at least all the rsvp on the list could form our little group:roftl: At least then we wouldn't be alone....

This is so fun though. We can't believe that we have bought our tickets and are going!!!!

Does anybody know how much the Riviera holds????
