Actually... two releases at the same time wouldn't be too bad an idea... that way he'd be able to do the whole dominating the charts things. Can you picture it, one week Mika's at Number 1 with HE, stays there a couple of weeks... and then BAM, that one goes to number 2 to be replaced with Lollipop at No1!!

Pity Mika doesn't have a spokesperson like Michael Jackson... we normally email her if we hear something like this bout MJ and she either confirms or denies it.

Even if she did have it registered, she's demanding damages. It's up to her to prove loss.

This could end up like the case where someone called Mike Rowe was sued by Microsoft for starting a company called MikeRoweSoft. He settled that case and changed his name but got a pretty decent deal outta it. Also, it was felt in that case that he could have won the case had it gone all the way cos it was a legitimate use of his name (not like Liberty X, as I doubt any of them are actually called Liberty), and as Mika is actually called Mica, whereas little miss lawyer friendly is called Sophie, he sure has that going for him. Plus, since her career is hardly a success story, any damages she could be awarded would me minimal, unless she's awarded punitive damages, which is illegal so damn unlikely. And, as she's demanding what are no doubt excessive damages anyway (would have to see how much she's demanding compared to how much she's actually lost as a result of Mika using the name) Mika could just say it's a claim made in bad faith, as she's just hoping to make a quick profit out of the case. Anyway, if anything I'd say she's probably profited from it anyway, cos some muppets are bound to have accidentally downloaded her song mistaking it for our Mika.

Anyway... sorry to go all lawyer on you guys... just my opinion.

I know!! My dad couldn't remember what station it was on though!! Searched the BBC ones, but no look so far. He thought it was radio 3 or 4 though, so shall have to search them more thoroughly after dinner

That's what shocked me. The use of the word 'abused' rather than 'bullied' implies something completely different, as does Mika's refusal to talk about it. Just makes my heart go out to him so much. I'd heard he had 'problems' with a teacher, but this sounds awful. I really empathise with him so much more than I already did after hearing this.

Ok... here's the deal, I can't find it on the internet so I'll just tell you what my dad said was on.

Dad said he was listening to the radio, and flicked over onto a Mika show thing, where they played a couple of songs (inc GK and LT), talked about him and talked to him.

He said they talked a bit about his life, mentioned that he was very unhappy in school, bullied by the kids and abused by a teacher (at this point Mika changed the subject apparantly).

Apparantly there was also something about a researcher who's researching Mik for a biography, which REALLY got me excited. Gonna keep searching for it and interview my dad to get more info!

Ok guys... we've doubled Mika's score to 4% and got Johnny down 1% to 38% but we still have a LOT of work to do if we're gonna work the same miracle we did on the French version. Get at it guys!!

Definitely not. Maybe if he grew curly hair, got slightly skinnier and taller, his eyes weren't so close together, and he looked more like Mika!

That made me laugh, cry and smile all within like THREE MINUTES!! The bit where he kinda curled back up in bed but the balloon lifted him up... soooooooooo good... gave me GOOSEBUMPS!!

I had a random Mika moment today (now that I've finished reading the thread!!). I finally found the Chubby Bunny interview on youtube today, and that was just hilarious and on mymind all day. Anyway, was with a friend having dinner, and had like the world's biggest mouthfull of pasta EVER, at which point they decided to say something, and i just kinda looked at em and went "CHUBBY BUNNY!" Only it came out rather disgusting and much like when Mika finally gave up and spat marshmallows everywhere!

I just find it really sad and kinda weird that Lily and Snape were in love but she still ended up with the guy she hated.
