  1. You know you're a Mika fan when you call everybody "Mika"

    (accidentally).

    For example:

I go for a walk with our dog Emma. She's naughty and I shout: Mika, stop that!

Or our cat (that was a few months ago, he's dead now) lay on my bed.

I went in my room and saw him and I shouted: Mika...erm...Dicky is lieing in my bed again!

    :aah:

Oh, and "Dicky" is the pet name of s.o. who's corpulent cause "dick" is the german word for "corpulent".:roftl:

All misunderstandings are cleared up now, hopefully:roftl::roftl:

  2. When it was the coldest at your place? :wink2:

We had -33 degrees on the first days of February :aah: Today it's already about 5-7 degrees

The coldest was about -15 degrees but this is nothing compared to you:shocked:

Well, I live in Germany, we normally have not such heavy winters, especially not in Nothern Germany.

  3. I've read what you're all saying about it being Fork out and not Fog out, but seriously, my ears hear Fog! I think it's a case of clumsy lyrics whichever it is anyway, so I'm not gonna worry about it anymore:biggrin2:

My piano sheetbook says it's fog...

  4. Finally, after 12 weeks snow, it's getting warmer, 12 °C is nearly hot for us after this abnormal winter period:naughty:

The crucuses and daffs begin to bloom. Normally that's earlier.

But due to the snow the grass looks like steppe:aah:

  5. yup, colourful feathers are perfect. :thumb_yello:

i have no idea how many people the front row holds at this place, but i think it's not more than 20 people from mfc + dmfc who are coming, and 20 should fit into front row at least, i hope, so then i guess 5 is enough, yes. :wink2:

i'm staying at a hostel nearby, so guess i'll just look to the venue between 2 and 3 and if no ones there yet, just do some more sightseeing. :bleh:

The Niedersachsenticket is valid from 9 am. So there is enough space for sightseeing, chowing down etc.

My friend and me, we'll look, as you said, inbetween to the venue how many people are already there.

  6. everyone who's interested, on the german forum we agreed on a dresscode for hamburg: "dr john's magic chicken". that means, if you have any (preferably colourful) feather outfits / feather boas / feathers to stick in your hair, etc., that would be fab. :biggrin2: if not, maybe just colourful clothes? i'll bring some feather stuff too, if anyone wants something at the venue... but if you wanna join us and have a feather boa yourself, bring it. :thumb_yello:

plus, i'll bring some beaks (made of orange cardboard paper), which we'll put on for the song dr john. if i should bring one for any of you guys, let me know. :wink2:

no idea... somewhen in the afternoon, that should be enough for those small gigs, i hope! 2-3 maybe?

I thought about to prepare a mask with feathers and many colours. That would fit in the dresscode, wouldn't it?

Admission's at 7 pm...Round about 5 pm is this enough?

  7. Wow,

Kick Ass video has more than 43.000 views and that's just one vid! And that's the result after only 2 days after the release!

Hm, what I miss in the song is an ending, no fading out...(Like a unique word like"kaching-ah" or an isntrument tone or whatever)

Otherwise it doesn't represent the power of the song.

    That's the only criticism.

Anyone else here who thinks that?

Hopefully he'll sing it live and then it has to have an ending!
