  1. From Asian Lite.

I hate it when he's far away.

I too find it hard to listen to where his stress level is all the time! I want him to be calm and at ease. If India does it for him – than good for him. I sure hope he finds what he’s looking for.

Although a friend of mine went to a congress in India not long ago. He stayed at a fancy hotel in the middle of skid row. People begging everwhere, garbage and a waterfall of poop…..

He will never go to India again. Of course it’s probably nice somewhere in India but on the other hand he got to see the real India if you know what I mean, not the tourist side of it.

But I hope Mika is cooling down and finding HIMSELF not some religion…. But that’s just my own opinion.

  2. I mean any luck finding out if its an actual song and who sung it?!

wasn't there a whole thread for it?

Yes, but I had it for a sig before the thread! :naughty:

As far as I know nobody know where it was from. It's to bad I didn't think so far as to ask Mika about it when I meet him. I was thinking of something to talk to him about and I should have asked him about the Fingertip song, but I didn't think of it then! My mind was occupied with other things! :mf_rosetinted:

  3. Christine's transcript of the Capitol Awards backstage interview with Mika talks about his second album:

Do you feel pressure, obviously the first album did so well?

Well there's always that. When you do things like this, you know. When I first started I was a bit of a crazy experiment. I was this kid that they signed and I had done a lot of it on my own. No one really knew what was going to happen.

But now I've got a big pound sign kind of stamped on my forehead. But I'm certainly not going to let that distract me in any way. As far as I'm concerned I'm just doing the same thing that I was always doing. It's got to come from the same place. Otherwise you've sold your soul.

This makes me exhale and let go of all my anxiety that our Mika will change and become this money hungry sell-out. Yes, he has a pound sign on his cute little forehead but it’s really good news that he will use his cover stick on that so that it doesn’t show that much. He’s doing what he’s always been doing! Music to my ears – literally!

  4. Thank you so much for the truly amazing music you create!

Thank you for the breathtaking live shows it seems like you were born to perform!

Thank you for thinking of us – your fans – and having us as guest at your after party!

I so hope you will consider inviting us again and maybe this time we will be more ”used to it” and you will be able to mingle and meet all of us!

Thank you for being you! :flowers2:

  5. :roftl: The start of your post worried me :roftl:

Looking forward to the videos and pics!!! :thumb_yello:

Haha, I thought it might! :naughty:

I'm looking forward to sort through the photos. I just looked through them quickly at the hotel during the week, but now I want to put them under the microscope! I always think my own photos are crappy and everyone else's great. If I get an arm or a head in the way of the object I discard them. But I will try not to do this this time. It's better to post them all and let everyone else decide which one is crappy and not.

  6. And here, Mika, with various guests at his end of tour party.......

First I'd like to ask – who is this ugly person next to Mika?

    Oh, F**K it's ME! :roftl:

Second I'd like to say thank you to all the nice MFC-people I meet in London! It was so very nice to meet you all and I sure hope I will meet you again very soon. :flowers2:

The concerts were so great! I have lots of photos and videos and as soon as I get them from Siennas computer I will upload them for you all. I think I got some really good videos actually. :bleh:

  7. Seriously. You're so good at everything else, can't you drop the painfully staged scripts and engage in some spontaneous stage banter, like in SLC?

I was really moved by your quote about radio play and live shows in Philly because it was new, and seemed genuine. I joked that I would bet you'd be repeating it at every show since, but of course you are. Yes, it was a good bit, but not as a "bit"--it was only moving and good as something earnest and real. I had thought your slight hesitation prior to saying it was because you were disclosing something vulnerable, a confession of sorts--not because you were trying to remember the latest addition to your script.

The overly-worn Billy Brown bit just makes me grind my teeth at this point.

    --Jack

I was thinking about this and about the fact that whatever Mika would do for us fans we would never think it was enough.

Yesterday when I got home from my trip to London I was soooooo tired. I had to stay a night in Stockholm because I missed my flight home, so I got home yesterday. And yesterday evening we had a gig with my own little hobby-band. I was so tired when my boyfriend picked me up from the airport and I got to thinking. This is what it feels like. This is what it’s like to be a star. Then my boyfriend said: “Now imagine that you have to go for a press conference and do a lot of interviews and then perform at the show later the same evening!” And he’s right. It’s not easy to change the “script”, it’s not easy to always say funny, new and exciting stuff.

Bye the way, it’s a small group of crazy fans – like you and me – that go to so many shows that we recognize all his moves and monologues. Most of the people are there for the very first time, and for them everything is sparkling new! :wink2:

  8. We have just been discussing that it seems the flashing hearts idea has now died a death, so i think since we are on the boarderline of an official status, that the mfc needs a new 'gimmick' for want of a better word, to allow members to be spotted.

It needs to be something simple, affordable (since hearts/badges are out of budget for younger members), unique and available on a global scale.

    Any thoughts?

I was thinking of a bracelet idea in mfc colours.

Special beads can be added to count the number of concerts members have been to.

Just a thought. Its something that i have made before and will happy to do in bulk for members.

    Discuss?

I think this is a relly good idea! It could be a bracelet with beads in colour and then MFC in letter-beads. Or something like that.

Since no more ideas have really sprung up...ill add to this one.

Just an example, here are the types/colours of beads that could be used.

They are really inexpensive so it would be very simple to make and cost little for younger members:

If we did them in mfc colours they would probably be similar to this.

    9CP123.jpg

But who says the have to be in mfc colours... be made to specific requirements because they are simple.

They could be in white with the mfc written in these:

And additonal different ones for concerts and meets like....erm....i dont know...these?:

    rainbowbeads.jpg

Im just throwing around ideas - ignore me.

It's simple and not so expensive. Nice!

  9. So, I made my first ever compilation...my absolute first attempt! It's set to the song " I WANT CANDY!" because I always think of Mika when I hear it... who wouldn't? It fits him perfectly!

My birthday is coming up soon... March 12th and I was thinking about marie antoinette (that was my masquerade theme last year!) remembering that song in the film, I wanted to make this to celebrate another year... my anniversary really of being changed by this sweet guy.

so here we are... viewing it small may be best :thumb_yello:

    Enjoy!!

    yummmmmmy

That's so nice! I love it!

He's so sweet and your compilation really shows it. Thank you!

  10. I spent the day picking up your fingertips,

I found them in the city

they were red from your lips.

    I went to the port

and I found your knees in a bucket, your feet amd your spine (?) and you (...?) dime (?).

(sorry... no native speaker :sneaky2: )

    Help is highly appreciated :thumb_yello:

    Thank you and good night!

    I know someone who has a killer signature…. :blush-anim-cl:

Too bad I didn’t see this thread before, ‘cause I also checked out the subtitle to the dvd. But all we need to know now is where it comes from. The search continues! :naughty:
