Today was sort of strange for me. This morning I was listening to Money on repeat, and a dime fell out of my clothes when I got out of bed. Then, at school, this girl Kimberly, in my English class needed help with sorting change for the photocopier (she just moved from Hong Kong). After that, in Philosophy, the lines "they don't care, they do it for the money" kept running through my head, and Tim, the instructor started talking about how smart people are only motivated by greed and money. I thought they were all funny coincidences. Do you guys think there's something else going on? I like to think it's someone trying to send me a message. But what?

 

Anyway. That's all for now. I've been working on that email, Niamh!

Hey you know, I kinda feel bad that I haven't gotten into the Mika news at all...like I haven't watched any interviews or performances or even gotten the CD yet (though I have ordered it online)

so I don't know....I spend too much time on MJJC

 

I know, I've found MJ fans here through MJJC so we're going to go see it together. I have such mixed feelings about it....there's no doubt that he doesn't look healthy in it...but the concern among the Jacksons is that the footage is so heavily edited that it only shows when Mike was doing well, and they're going to use it as evidence that he was fine, and able to work, rather than bribed or pressured into it........so I don't know.

So lately I've been really annoyed with Mika

 

I know no one wants to read a thread like this just when we're all excited about the new album but keep reading! It gets better, trust me.

 

So I’ve just been fed up with all the gimmicks (Mika’s Magic #’s, the “naked vlog” thing). But I found out a couple weeks ago that one of the girls I drive to school with is a Mika fan and I didn’t even know! So she was really excited about the new album and I was excited too, but I still felt the sting of how annoying it had all been lately. I wish I could blindly love Mika like she did (I guess I really am a fan who knows too much). So on the day of the album release when I stopped to pick her up I was sad that I wouldn’t really be able to share her excitement. But then a little song called Waking Up in Vegas by Katy Perry came on the radio, and I remembered this dream I had a couple months ago where Mika and I were just dancing around to this song. And right then, a nanosecond before my friend got into the car, I remembered what I loved about Mika: the fun. And just at the right time I was able to get back to that Mika-loving mood I missed (although it was weird getting there via Katy Perry) and I was finally be able to be as excited as my friend was.

Then I silently thanked about a billion people: Mika, Katy Perry, My friend, the radio DJ who decided to play that song at the opportune moment.

Well, the main difference between DVD and Blu-Ray is that bluray is high deffinition system. The image looks way better than on dvd. Also, some companies put more extras on the blu-rays cause the disc has more capacity. So they can include whatever they want. For the This Is It, I would recomend blu-ray (if you have a player or PS3) cause the 3d scenes will look great! (not counting how Michael will look on the tv )

Blu-ray is the newer version of a dvd, I think it's usually better quality. But you have to have a blu-ray player for it. That's all I know...

But really, we don't know if Dr Murray did it. Let's not forget that under American law, you're considered innocent until proven guilty. So we shouldn't jump to conclusion like people did for Michael. Not everyone accused of a crime is a criminal.

I've been a fan since about 1983.. So, 26 years. But it's not the years that count. Or how much merchandise you own. Or posters on your wall. A fan is a fan. Love is Love. And we all read the tabloids and we all believed or didn't believe, or got confused by it all. There were so many lies that it wasn't always easy to separate fact from fiction in Michael's case. I personally never wanted to believe any of it, and got confused as to why people were determined to drag him through the mud. Just keep telling people how amazing he was. That's all that matters now.

woah..i'm intimidated.i've been a fan since i was 5,so that makes 11years,i think minus all these years that i have been abandoning mike i wish i could turn back time and ignore the tabloids back then.

I never really knew MJ when he was alive, but after his death, all his stuff was all over the place so I bought his number one hits cd and I can't believe what I missed - it's amazing! I've been listening to it constantly for over a month, well, I do alternate with Mika too- but it's mostly MJ.

I saw the black and white music video and I have almost the same clothes he's wearing in it, so I decided to throw a costume party, simply so I could flaunt them- lol

it's ok dear,all you can do now is defend him and sustain his legacy.i've been ignorant back in those days when i was younger,but now since i realised,i have been a devoted fan of michael's.

glad ye liked the vid.... today I've been able to smile at him again (after a major breakdown watching the memorial of I'll Be There...)
