Hi Mitts! I go to school in Chicago (as you can see by the post I just posted), you will also miss not having negative degree weather in the winter! Its seriously brutal. But, there is also a really great music scene there! If you decide to go, let me know, I'd love to meet other Mika fans in the US! (I know its a ways off, but still...)

Hello! I am new MFCer hailing all the way from Seaside, Oregon, of the USA! I am currently studying in France (sadly, only for this quarter), but go to school in Chicago. Oh, ya, my name is Bethany, and I'm 19. I can seem really shy and quiet when you first see me, but once I get warmed up I'm kinda crazy and REALLY sarcastic. I am a pretty easy going person, and I get along with most people and (I think) I'm pretty easy to get along with. I was uber upset when I found out Mika was going to the US when I was going to be in France (bec I was actually counting on him having being here), but I just found out about the London concerts and I'm going, so I am so excited about that and trying to get everything planned for it!

Hey, I tried reading to see where people are staying... But I got really confused. I know its really last minute, but I just found out I'm going to the concerts the 24 and 25th, and I'm going alone, so I was hoping to stay somewhere where I could meet up with other Mika fans. So... I guess my question is, where are people staying that is relatively cheap and close to the venues?

Any other couchsurfers out there? It really is a great society and I just added a Mika fan group... Hopefully for those of us who travel for Mika (or just in general) to meet up...

I feel your pain about nobody in the states knowing who he is!! I have basically had to single handedly bring his brilliance to my fellow collegemates!

Hey! I'm not a new Mika fan, but I'm new to the site. I first heard Mika ages ago, when everyone else in the US would ask me "Who is that?" anytime I mentioned his name (which was QUITE often... actually once someone asked what a friend and I were talking about and I answered, "Mika" and she said, "Oh, of course." but...). I love Mika! I think he is a brilliant musician! I am actually studying in France right now and was SO disappointed to hear he was actually going to the U.S. when I was going to be gone :''(. BUT, I am hopefully going to see him in London! Enough about me! Just wanted to say "Hi!"
