its a movie theatre, but they also have plays there and stuff cause the screen for the movie is hanging over the old stage

sorry im not a buskie...im in choir and im into theatre and i like to act but i haven't been in a play for a LONG time lol

so i've offically decided that whoever made the video was confused and it must have slipped by because it is a minor detail that could have easily been overlooked and i only noticed cause i have that video on my ipod and watch it all the time,

but at the same time i know that mika is the kind of artist that is highly involved in EVERY aspect of the music, i dont think he made the video, i dont know if his sisters did, they paint but this is annimation, i assume that an animation studio made it but if mika or his sisters did make it then they were clear on the lyrics...and if some studio made it wouldnt they have had copies of the lyrics everywhere...idk now im getting confused...but i refuse to believe the song actually says ride cause that dosen't make much sense and lets face it, it flat out sounds like rot....

MANY lyrics sites say the word is ride, (i was really upset at first cause i thought i was wrong....'how could i get a mika lyric wrong?!')

I think don't think lollipop has a different meaning except maybe that lollipop refers to her innocence and that he wants her to keep her innocence, especially since he says in multiple interviews that the lollipop girl lives in the forest and that all the monkeys <<boys>> try to steal her lollipop <<innocence>>

and i have been wondering about the words in one section of the song...mama told me what i shoudl know too much candy gonna ROT your soul" i have always thought it was rot but in the music video it says RIDE instead and so do several lyric sites...but i still swear that he says rot

Wait, your from PHILLY?! NO WAY! WHERE? AMAZING! I just got back from my school trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

it was really tiring, no one slept at all! THE HOTEL WAS A WRECK!

We were crazy, I MEAN CRAZY! My class went to a Philly's game. 8th inning, it started to downpour and lighting. Sicne we were in really high seats, they called the game. OUR BUS WAS MISSING! WE HAD NO RIDE! So 50 8th graders are screaming in teh worst rainstorm I have ever seen with hair dripping and clothes soaked through. BEST RAIN EVER! HUGE DROPS, Coming really fast and hard, it was SO FUN! So that was enough to get the boys rowled up. As we learned the next day, some of their 2 o'clock in the morning activities included making coffee with MONSTER energy drink insted of water (And you can all credit Derby, CT with teh inverntion of MONSTER COFFEE), energy drink contests (who could drink the most, the fastest) and "Lets see who can scream the loudest into the air vents so the girls on teh level below us an hear and stay awake until 3!" Prank calls, candy/food fights and rumors of haunted rooms and ghosts also passed around the girls level of the Holiday Inn. GOOD TIMES

 

Yeah, that was one CRAZY NIGHT!

haha thats so funny! actually i'm from a suburb about 30 minutes from philly so when people ask where im from i just say philly cause its easier, but i dont know if you ventured outside of the city cause where i live is actually pretty interesting and i wouldnt be suprised if you came here too

amish country is here and there is this small town like 3 minutes from here its called newtown its from colonial era and its really cute they have all these old houses and the oldest movie theatre in the country but thats a funny story, gotta spread the word about the monster coffee

those are amazing! what did you use sharpie markers?

YEA...gotta love the sharpie markers!!! i actually made them twice, because i was SO excited to make them that when i couldn't find the big pack of sharpies in the store i bought the crayola ones instead and that was cool except i couldnt go into the rain or puddles or anything so i washed them and redid them, and i think that actually made them come out better in the end because i had already drawn them once so it was easier the second time, so if ur planning on doing it too i suggest you draw the design first on a regular sheet of paper then, outline it on the shoes, then fill it in with either sharpies or washable, if you use washable you can use it as a test run, i'm glad i did that cause i changed a lot of things after i washed them:cheerful_h4h:

Mika admits he's a fruit

 

At the Novellos I asked Mika what kind of fruit he'd be. Well, it's one way to start a conversation.

 

"Oh, I am a fruit already," he said cheekily.

 

A shock coming from someone notoriously ambivalent about his sexuality. Then he explained: "Well, in Japan a fruit is someone who is more extravagant than the norm. So, hey, I'm a fruit."

i think the lollipop girl should wonder all over the island in search of a place to live and then she should suddenly find a small cabin and she wanders in trying to find whoever lives there and she finds Billy Brown sitting down to breakfast(a large bowl of lollipops) and the lollipop girl (looking quite disheveled from her long journey there) grabs Billys attention and he rushes over to help her (because her clothes are all torn and she is all dirty and quite tired) as she nearly falls over because she is so delerious, so then billy brown takes care of the young lollipop girl getting her well again and fixing her clothes

once she is well again Billy Brown begins to tell the lollipop girl about this magical land he once heard about where you can live your life in cartoon motion the lollipop is amazed to hear about such a lovely place but asks billy why he would be looking for such a place when he already lives on a lollipop island and he tells her of the dangers that lerk deep in the forest and how they come out everynight attacking everything in sight and how suprised he is that she survived so long without his help,

she is frightened by this but still doesnt want to leave her beloeved lollipop island, until later that night while she is trying to sleep she hears the savage noises coming from the monsters that have come out insearch of food (the cant eat sugar which is the only thing that grows on the island so they eat all the animals which are now almost nonexistant, so billy and LG are almost the only source of food left) the next day the lollipop girl announces that she wants to go the live her live in cartoon motion and then billy quickly sorts threw his things until he finds a map (the LICM album cover) and tells LG that they should be able to get there in a few days and that according to the map the only entrance to LICM is throught a portal that lies deep within the lollipop forest......................

she is fantastic! she has a lot of electronic music...i know might sound bad but im not a big fan of electronic music but she is awesome! (shes no mika, but who is?)

so, i just looked at the cover of the book again and now its so devistatingly obvious that the book was not made by Mika, because as we know mika would have had a lot to do with a book being made about him, it actually would have been made by him...but anyway i looked at the cover again and the LICM artwork thats on there is clearly not original! i cant believe i didnt catch it the first time, but theres no way MIka had anything to do with the making of this book

There was this one interview where mika was given a whole bunch of slightly random objects and asked what they made him think of, i love it ive watched it like ten times but the past few days ive been having trouble finding it

all i can remember was that they gave him a deck of cards and a teddy bear and a queen cd and a bunch of other things, maybe a melon...i cant remember but it was really good, does anyone have it?

-have secret MFC shows, though that'd be a bit unfair to other fans not on MFC...

wow up until now i was convinced i was the only american mika fanatic! a few of my friends like his music but there is a big difference between liking his music and the utter obsession that i seem to be plagued with...and i just assumed that i was the "only lonely" american mika fan!!

ahhh i'm SO jealous!!! maybe ill sneak away and watch it
