  1. it's on youtube, but I can't edit or anything which is kind of a bummer since it's uploaded onto a different site which is linked to youtube. I wish i would have thought of that though....

Upload it again and then change the words in it?

  2. For those who don't understand the Child in Time thingy:

Ian Gillan in his glorious days:

Ian Gillan in his not so glorious days:

Ok I must admit the guys filming the last one made it terrible to listen to.. but Gillan is not helping much.

  3. 1* the price of the tickets is insane

2* live nation owns almost every concert= you cant even manage to have free tickets anymore

3* anyway i saw several ex legends this year and it was a pure BORE!!! im sorry but they are like 60 now and they look like zombies on stage, i almost cried when i went to see johncale like a month ago, i couldnt believe this man was one of the creator of the velvet...

    4*mika rocks

I must agree about the zombie part..

As I am 23 and digging 70s rock bands it's hard for me to see most of them cause they are either dead or quit.

I must say after looking at the who and Pink Floyd at Live 8 and Queen doing new stuff with Paul Rodgers, they don't move as much, but they still keep the rock alive!

I've heard Deep Purple is still touring as well.. It all goes well till Ian Gillan tries to do Child In Time as in the glorious days.. I wonder if he still wears the tight tigerprint pants. Any confirmation? lol

And of course Led Zeppelin really rocked during the reunion, Plant going solo is a bore to watch though

  4. Nice Collection!! :punk:

Do you go to many concerts?

I try to go to many concerts.. Been to Queen + PR a few times and will see them this year..

Furthermore I have seen Joe Cocker, Extrabreit, Kim Wilde, Ten Years After and a Pink Floyd tribute band

Wanted to see Roger Waters this year but the prices were way too high

  5. Ok let's see who are in my cd list:

    Uriah Heep

    Deep Purple

    Led Zeppelin

    Queen

    Black Sabbath

    Motorhead

    Metallica

    The Doors

    Nirvana

    Alice In Chains

    Pearl Jam

    CCR

    Pink Floyd

    Rob Zombie

    Whitesnake

    Rainbow

    The Eagles

    And so on..

  6. Kinda missed this thread:blush-anim-cl:

Pink Floyd were really awesome. I have all their albums and can't stop listening to them.

My favourite songs are Bike, Comfortably Numb and The Trial.

I saw a tribute band earlier this year.. and they opened with this video :P

  7. Couldn't find a thread about Pink Floyd so far!

So this thread is about the pioneers of Psychidelic Rock.

PF had some fantastic albums over the years: The Wall, The Final Cut, Saucerfull Of Secrets, Dark Side of the Moon.

And of course they had their ups and downs. Syd Barrett going insane, The break up and the court conflict.

So what do you think of Pink Floyd, what is your favourite era, album and/or song?

  8. Ohhh I think Night at the Opera is classic , if you want something newer Innuendo is awesome :thumb_yello:

    Definately Queen II:

I think it has everything.. the rock, the insane lyrics, the incredible build up through the songs.

  9. I don't mind Hot Space.

Me niether.. in fact there are great tracks on the album

Under Pressure, Life is real (song for John Lennon) Las Palabras de amor.

Pity though that must songs on the album were better done life:

    Staying Power

    Back Chat

    Calling all girls

I never got the meaning of releasing Body Language though.
