About The Works...
I think it was more a commercial production to tell the world they hadn't split up yet.
Plus, it was the first album where Roger used computer drums.. which I hate.

wow that's amazing !! How many times did he actually answer you?
I've only written him once but I think he didn't read it but it doesn't matter.
I'm proud to be such a young Queen fan and that I was one before the musical and stuff started
@englishrose: hihi yes talking about Rufus
Hiya.. well he answers quite reguraly. Depends on how busy he is.
I've only seen Queen + Paul Rodgers live (and will see them again twice this year!)
I was 1 year old when they did their last gig at Knebworth.. lol

indeedio! So uhm.. do we actually TALK about Queen here.. or just get a number?
I'm a Queen geek.. I know absolutely everything about their carreer, previous bands before Queen and solo stuff..
I email with Brian every once in a while and he once worked on a demo with my lyrics on it..

Nightmare on Elmstreet is still my classic.. I even wrote a song about it...
Untitled (working title, a scream of reality.)
It takes your heart out in the middle of the night
You wake up screaming and you turn on a light
Nothing there, it all must’ve been a bad dream
Then there it is again, now its reality and too late to scream
It’s digesting you from inside your body
No need to fight, you’re another wasted nobody
It’s Freddie Krueger playing with your soul
And from the beginning of the fight, you’ve lost all control
Next morning you wake up you are left in a daze
You see blood on your hand and a cut on your face
You try to wash yourself up and you tell yourself to be a man
But after looking in the mirror there he is again
Never sleep again; never will you close your eyes
In your sleep he will make you think all that’s reality are in fact your own lies
How you wish you have never lied to all the people in your life
For every lie you’ve created he will cut your body with a knife
Open your eyes, don’t let him take your life away
Don’t fall asleep else there won’t be another day
It’s too late now; you’ve lost all your life so pure
You’re dead now; next time you think it’s just a nightmare
Don’t be so sure.

Yes I like the hero But I only know the live versions from "live at the bowl" and "rock Montreal"..
I think I will get flash... just to complete my collection but I'm not sure if I will really like it... I don't really like the song "flash" *hides in a corner*
The Hero is a composition that actually brings a original idea of Queen back that Freddie started.
A piece of 3 different songs in one. Although now Brian had the honour of the credits.
Btw can I join this Queeniac business.. my nickname says enough I think

It really helped Paul Mccartney to become the most popular co-member of the beatles to form a new band.
Band on the Run and Mull of Kintyre were great tracks..
Too bad they had to do Mary had a little lamb though.

I thought.. let's give it another try.. so here I am.
I can't be bothered to introduce myself to the newbies here.. so I simply won't.
