  5. mwell I can't come for 2 reasons.. It's my mother's birthday on the 16th (she will be 50) And my therapist won't allow me to have fun.
  6. Deep purple - Child In Time (live in Japan 1972) best male screams EVER! lol
  7. For those who don't understand the Child in Time thingy: Ian Gillan in his glorious days: Ian Gillan in his not so glorious days: Ok I must admit the guys filming the last one made it terrible to listen to.. but Gillan is not helping much.
  8. Btw is Ozzy Osbourne still alive and kicking?
  9. I must agree about the zombie part.. As I am 23 and digging 70s rock bands it's hard for me to see most of them cause they are either dead or quit. I must say after looking at the who and Pink Floyd at Live 8 and Queen doing new stuff with Paul Rodgers, they don't move as much, but they still keep the rock alive! I've heard Deep Purple is still touring as well.. It all goes well till Ian Gillan tries to do Child In Time as in the glorious days.. I wonder if he still wears the tight tigerprint pants. Any confirmation? lol And of course Led Zeppelin really rocked during the reunion, Plant going solo is a bore to watch though
  10. I try to go to many concerts.. Been to Queen + PR a few times and will see them this year.. Furthermore I have seen Joe Cocker, Extrabreit, Kim Wilde, Ten Years After and a Pink Floyd tribute band Wanted to see Roger Waters this year but the prices were way too high
  11. Oh and Floggin' Molly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9hJBR4UYvI
  12. Ok let's see who are in my cd list: Uriah Heep Deep Purple Led Zeppelin Queen Black Sabbath Motorhead Metallica The Doors Nirvana Alice In Chains Pearl Jam CCR Pink Floyd Rob Zombie Whitesnake Rainbow The Eagles And so on..
  13. Kinda missed this thread:blush-anim-cl: Pink Floyd were really awesome. I have all their albums and can't stop listening to them. My favourite songs are Bike, Comfortably Numb and The Trial. I saw a tribute band earlier this year.. and they opened with this video
  14. Couldn't find a thread about Pink Floyd so far! So this thread is about the pioneers of Psychidelic Rock. PF had some fantastic albums over the years: The Wall, The Final Cut, Saucerfull Of Secrets, Dark Side of the Moon. And of course they had their ups and downs. Syd Barrett going insane, The break up and the court conflict. So what do you think of Pink Floyd, what is your favourite era, album and/or song?
  15. Myeah I'm the only one in there now
  16. I remember you too!!!! But from here and not myspace.. (goes to show I often look at my myspace
  17. The Beatles - Here there and everywhere/Yellow Submarine
  18. Definately Queen II: I think it has everything.. the rock, the insane lyrics, the incredible build up through the songs.
  19. Btw.. Put out the fire must include the worst guitar solo in a Queen song ever (well that and It's Late.)
  20. Me niether.. in fact there are great tracks on the album Under Pressure, Life is real (song for John Lennon) Las Palabras de amor. Pity though that must songs on the album were better done life: Staying Power Back Chat Calling all girls I never got the meaning of releasing Body Language though.
