  1. You can say when it is happening (in present):

     

    "She is on her period"

    "She is having her period"

     

     

    If it was in the past, you'd say:

     

    "She was on her period"

    "She has had her period"

     

     

    but there also are little codes that people use in English :teehee: you know, "It's her time of the month", "the painters are in" etc. :naughty:

     

    "The painters are in?" :roftl:

    We use the first one in dutch as well. :naughty:
