So I missed my train Home this afternoon🤣 So I got to stay until 5pm instead of 2.25 lol. Jokes aside, was quite stressful, but rebooked the Thalys 💸💸 and I’ll be home by 10pm. What a crazy fun weekend this has been. Absolutely incredible.

Thank you Mika, thank you Deb, Mods and all the fans that were there to make this lovely bunch of goofballs. ❤️ wouldn’t have wanted to miss it for the world! 
 

I filmed a bunch (even did a recap talking about the sunday concert last night. I was quite delerious, talking on my last adrelaline energy. Such a vlogger), so I’ll edit that. I’m very slow with editing so be patient with me 🥴

I just left from Amsterdam Schiphol! 🚅

I’ll arrive around 2pm, and my plan is to dump my suitcase at Gare du Nord and go to Musée D’orsay and the Rodin museum. After that I’ll go to the hotel (Mercure as well), since check in is after 3pm. 👍

-- posting on mikafanclub.com

-- creating a WhatsApp group

-- creating a private group on Instagram

-- creating a special/private Instagram account

-- creating a special Twitter account

 

I haven't yet decided what the best option is -- maybe we'll need a combination of these, so that no one is left out.

 

* Other items:

-- It would be nice to have a way to identify each other, as not everyone will have an MFC badge -- name tags/stickers.

-- Decorations for the boat? Not sure whether we will be able to do much, as we are only sailing for 1 hour.

 

We did not get around to discussing flowers/gift for Mika yet, but we should! I will start another thread for that.

 

This is what I think my tentative schedule for the weekend will be here -- obviously it is subject to change. If you all have ideas for how I might fill it in, please let me know!

I did get something small for Mika tho, not sure if I’ll be able to give it (a dutch Chocolate letter, from Tony’s Chocolonely, a fairtrade dutch brand). If I can’t give it, we’ll just share it lol.

This is the unsuitable floral dress - it might work for daytime with a cardigan, thick tights and ankle boots. Ignore the scratty hair, nails and no make up!

Also question, I want to make a bit of a vlog of the weekend, for memory sake plus it could be fun to watch for those that couldn’t make it.
I read that they were a little difficult on phones/cameras during the other symphonic gigs, so I’ll obviously respect that if that’s the case again.

So if you see me filming and you don’t want to be filmed at other times outside the gig, let me know and I’ll point the camera away/not edit you in. Most likely won’t film you, as that’s easier to remember later on haha

I've got a pair of ankle boots for tramping around Paris, and a basic tshirt. I did pick up some jeggings and a fancy tshirt last week, plus a long floral dress in a thin fabric with a side split that is probably completely impractical for October.

Good idea, and the nicest part is that one always send something back, plus it’s just nice to try stuff out from home, as it’s easier to mix and match with what you own. I have one more order coming, but it got delayed so hopefully it does come in time. So I’ll have a few more choices.

And day 2 was easier, just needed some shorts for under the skirt and some tights without holes in em lol.

also helps to play Mika Symphonique whilst playing dress up, gives you a moment to practice clapping after all that time jk, but the atmosphere helps haha.

I’ve ordered at Asos and went out of the box with one of them, but the longer I had it on, the less critical I could be lol. It’s so extra I love that for a Mika gig (white one). Red one is perfect contender for Christmas too lol. Plus a comfy peplum.
