I thought Mika specifically said at one of the playbacks that things are different for each market (in the context of an October release for the UK). And the Japanese version came out several days early in 2009.

 

Also US/Canada releases are always on Tuesdays and they are on Mondays in the UK (and probably other places in Europe). In 2007 there were 3 different release dates for UK/Canada/US, respectively.

I know here in Ireland we always get it the Friday before the UK too... I'm totes prepared to buy I Japanese version if I must though..

Well I don't care if he is straight, bisexual or gay! At the end of the day should fans not be more focused on his music, rather then his sexuality? I mean everyone is curious about it, but trying to make Mika be something he is not draws the line for me. It's because they all believe that they will be his girlfriends- but trust me it will never happen. I just want whats best for Mika- if he's happy I'm happy! But overall it's people's opinions, I just don't agree with the homophobic opinions. Sorry for ranting a bit..

I have been fed up with those people who are clinging to the idea that Mika is attracted to women simply because they cannot handle the idea of him having a boyfriend at all. Because it smacks of homophobia (in fact it screams of it in some cases). But that's a totally different motivation than what we're talking about here.

I really think some of them need to take a step back and look at themselves in the mirror ... cos' when you're ruining things for other people something should be said and done about it ... Last summer in Portugal Mika promised he'd come back to the States this year (2012). I'm not giving up hope...but what a miracle it would be if one of Mika's promises came true!

where's that from? i think there's more voice distortion in your clip than in the one from the radio, and it might be a fuller sound (more bass / deep frequencies), but not sure as it's not really loud...

Not much to add to everyones wonderful reports but it was an amazing evening with memories that I'll never forget It was so great to meet everyone again and to make some new friends too!
