El cantante y compositor británico-libanés Michael Holbrook Penniman, Jr., conocido por su nombre artístico de Mika, es la última incorporación al Festival Jardines de Pedralbes, que el lunes presentó una programaciónencabezada por Bob Dylan, Paul Weller y Pet Shop Boys, entre otros.

Mika, que cerrará el festival el 10 de julio, presentará en Barcelona su cuarto álbum, del que acaba de adelantar el single «Talk About You». El cantante, dueño de un falsete imposible, se dio a conocer en 2007 con «Life In Cartoon Motion» y desde entonces ha alternado el éxito masivo con su labor de jurado en el programa Factor X de Italia y en el «reality» francés The Voice, además de colaborar con Swatch y Valentino.

Anyhow, I've met him a few times, but I wouldn't say Mika "knows" me -- like I'm sure he doesn't know my favorite color or food (FTR, blue and pizza, if you're reading, Mika ) But he knows who I am, that's for sure. Which is not necessarily always a good thing.

so, does that mean there'll be tour dates announced before the album is out? interesting... i wonder whether he'll combine the tour with promo work (interviews in the afternoon, gigs in the evening), around the album release date. if not, i doubt there'll be any dates outside italy and france.

Maybe he announces tour dates before the album is out, but those dates are summer festivals? so he has plenty of time to do the promo work around the world...
