  1.

I already had two weeks without a licence last year, and that made it very hard to get to work when I work 1/2 hour away from where I live!

It's alright as long as I stay in the city (inspite of the public transport here:rolls_eyes:) at least I do some kind of sport this way:naughty:

I'll see how traveling is like that, but I just can't afford a car. Syndey is terribly expensive.

1/2 hour by car? That's bad :boxed:

  2. I'm joining the "silver bladder" (...) club

    +1

I have to check theses lyrics again.

In Elle me dit I usually hear "Fais c'que tu veux, ton fille" instead of "Fais c'que tu veux, tant pis". I was kinda wondering about it, but as my french isn't that good I thought I might have just missed something. Or that he might actually be singing " mon fille" (completely ignoring the fact he's a guy, I know :naughty: ).

  3. Thank goodness for the internet so we can keep in touch :naughty:

I am thankful for that, every single day.

Tell me about it... There are times where I would love to drive to Melbourne to see the girsl there, or to Cairns but they both take over a day's solid driving from where I live (probably two days to Cairns)

Now imagine not having a car :boxed:

  4. Hopefully you'll have some money left for it. You have to go to one convention, they really are fun and it's great seeing all the people who have dressed up!

Knowing the people who are organising it, they probably haven't announced the Sydney one because they're still working on securing guests for it. They don't like announcing a convention when they haven't secured at least one guest (they wouldn't not do a Sydney convention, cause that's where the main staff work from :wink2:).

    Yes,I hope so, too :naughty:

Ah alright, but that's pretty close then, isn't it? Anyways I'm not going to stay in Sydney that long, so Adelaide suits me a lot better:biggrin2:

  5. Oh wow, I find that pretty surprising! I would've never guessed that the melancholy of Finnish music can be appealing to someone. :teehee:

Let me know if you need help in learning the language when you get back to it! :wink2:

I don't know, I think I have a weak spot for that kind of music:biggrin2: But then, why not?

    I'll remind you of that:wink2:

  6. Hello stranger! :biggrin2:We all miss you too!

Did you see that I got the Melbourne dates wrong? Melbourne's on 30th June and 1st July...

And the tickets for those sorts of things usually aren't that expensive. Entry should be about $20 (it may be more, so make sure you check the site beforehand), photos should be $40 and autographs should be $30. Again, the prices should go up on the site so make sure you check it out before you go.

It should be a good event though, I can't wait till they start talking about the Sydney one (which probably won't be on till around this time next year).

Jep I saw that, even better that way. 20$, that's not too bad ( we'll see what I have left then:teehee: ). The website says prices are "coming soon' so I should probably save that link somewhere.

Actually I was a little surprised there is none in Sydney:blink:

  7. I can teach you if you want to :teehee: I know I'm being awfully curious but what song was it? The one I posted or some other?

I'll defenetly go back to learning it, but at the moment it's a bit difficult. Maybe I come back to that offer :wink2:

No, I didn"t know the song you've posted. It was kun mina kotoani laksin (sorry for lacking the dots on the letters, silly english keyboard) I think this song is really beautiful.:wub2:

  8. Sooooooooo, at the moment Patrick Stewart will be going to the Melbourne one, and I think it's on 31 March-1 April 2012... They have a website up already but there's nothing on there about him yet, but it's worth having for when they get more info on there. It's http://www.ozcomiccon.com/. They also have a Facebook page if you're on there as well, and that's https://www.facebook.com/#!/OzComicCon?sk=wall...

Aww Thank you! That even goes with my plans. If the tickets are not too expensive... I've always wanted to go to a comic con:biggrin2:

  9. Here's another artist I like, Chisu, one of the decent female ones. Those of you who are curious about what the Finnish language sounds like, give it a go. :naughty:

I must say, it took some time but by now I love the sound of the Finnish language. Funnily enough I even started learning it a little because I fell in love with a finnish song :wub2:

  10. I did used to watch a lot of TV, especially the good American stuff - never used to miss House or NCIS or Supernatural - but now it's all on satellite I don't bother. I just don't seem to get into programmes at the moment.

I know what you mean. it was the same for me with house, Supernatural and TVD. Once you can't watch it regually, you're kind of detoxed and you don't really bother anymore. It's a bit of a shame with these good shows though.
