  1. Hi everybody !

I'm french, 20 years old & I'm coming to Mika show in Dublin on 15th february because his french tour won't begin before April ! So long for me ! I'm staying for two days and I've never come to Dublin . Can't wait to see Mika & visit the city ! Do you know what is the duration of the concert ? I hope it will be sunny but I'm scared about that ! HaHa .

    See you soon !

    Arthur :wink2:

I think the concert will be around the 2 hour mark or a little less than that. Not sure if it will be sunny so the best thing is to pack your umbrella and a sweater/coat. :wink2:

  2. hmm, i remembered that from one of the early discussions in this thread, and looked at the weather forcast yesterday to see whether it's true - they predict about 0-2°C for the next 2 weeks, so, well, i wouldn't dress too lightly. :naughty: but i'll just look at the weather forecast again a few days before i'm leaving, to see what jacket i should take.

is it normally quite windy in dublin, or not so much? i know for example about germany that in hamburg it often feels much colder than in munich because of the wind, although it's about the same temperature.

It can be quite cold in Dublin basically all year around. I think maximum temperature is usually around 10-12C, so it's probably best to bring a jumper or a jacket with you.

It's also good to make sure that you have an umbrella, cos it rains a good bit.

  3. Dublin is an amazing city, lots to see there. Best way to look around the city, is to get one of the bus tours. The Green and Yellow bus tour, is my favourite, each driver has their own way of telling the citys history, and you can get off at any of the stops at any time, and rejoin it whenever you want.

The Guinness Storehouse and Jamesons distillery are quite popular stops:roftl::roftl::roftl:

I actually visited Jameson's Distillery yesterday. Didn't try any whiskey but as I smelt it, I was given a certificate along with everyone else in my tour group. :teehee:

  4. in germany, the 2 days of the dublin gigs are carnival time, and just because i'll be in such a boring country who has never heard of this fun tradition, doesn't mean i'm doing anything different than if i was at home! :shun: i'll be dressing up and throwing confetti and streamers! :bleh::roftl:

I'll definitely be dressing up. Have to go shopping for some items, though.

I made a lollipop necklace for both my friend and myself, so we'll definitely be wearing those.

Not sure where I can get a bowler hat and rainbow suspenders but I still have some time left.

  5. A lot of people probably were too young to experience the whole David Duchovny hype back in the day.. Heck, I probably should have been as well but that didn't bother me :roftl: And I'm right back in that mindset atm :naughty: It's not that I find him that handsome/good looking/... but he's just so very attractive :teehee: He just oozes s.... erm chicken :mf_rosetinted:

My cousin absolutely LOVED him in 'The X Files'. :naughty:

  6. I had a look at the 'Fireflies' page on Wikipedia and it says (via hmv.co.uk) that the single is being released physically on February 22nd.

That's strange cos my brother told me yesterday that it was only being made available digitally.

  7. i ADORE fireflies!!! when i get near an HMV i'm gonna buy it! :boing: is it already out in the UK?

It's not being released physically as I had originally heard, only as a digital download.

I'm SO happy it's at #2 in the UK (a jump of 48 places from last week). Should have been #1, though...

  8. i heard this lot the other day on telly... nb nb!! lolz!

    x

It's been played on the music channels nearly every day for the past few weeks. I actually saw it again less than an hour ago. :wub2:

  9. I'm still waiting for my uni timetable for next semester to be finalised but the provisional one said I finish at 4pm on Mondays, so I might not be able to make it to a pre-meet but I'll keep you updated.

I just hope they don't decide to have a lecture until 6pm.

  10. "Black and orange is the most disgusting combination you could ever come up with. I think it's horrible!" what about biotg then? :aah:

I take it he hasn't seen Depeche Mode's current colour combination? :naughty:
