I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Mika sings an exerpt from "Pick Up off the Floor" in the "Live in Cartoon Motion" DVD. During the documentary, Mika states, "The great thing about Pop songs in that you can borrow into idioms." Then he goes on to sing, "Da-da-doo/ Says she do (?)/What her life was going to do/ But then she goes and falls in love and throws it all away." This DVD is from 2007. I thought it was pretty cool that Mika was working on this song for such a long time. This is actually one of my favorite songs on the album.

I was immediately hooked to the demo song, "Falling", so you can imagine my reaction when I found out this song was incorporated into "I See You." I love the changes he's made to the song. I thought the music arrangement was brilliantly done and his emotions come through so beautifully! I am sure this will be made into a single... at least I hope it is. This is by far, my favorite song on the new album. God Bless Mika!!
