    i think for now, we should concentrate our energy on positive thinking.

     

    i'm not into doing an "mfc project mood" at the moment... sorry.

     

     

     

    frankly i wanted to do a drawing for Paloma at the beginning, but my mind is totally blank and was only recalling the news... it's hard, and i am not in a project mood either :sad:

     

    but i think it's still okay if you want to make sth for them, everyone has different ways to send their blessings or else...

     

    and sometimes they give positive vibes and power to patients too (:

     

    so it's up to you - the main point is all we are doing will not disturb the family's privacy, and they have to appropriate. (:

     

    (i still saw a gig request to Mika on facebook, under the Paloma note... which made me frown a bit... :no:)

     

    it's only my opinion tho...

    Although I doubt that the first thought of anyone close to Mika is to check MFC now, it goes without saying that my thoughts are with Paloma, Mika and the whole family.

     

    At the same time, I hope that fans will respect the family's call for privacy and will not start spamming the net with details of this tragic accident. Her identity should have been kept secret in the news.

     

    yeah i agree with you. and so as the press...

    i dun think it is necessary to tell the others about which hospital she's at and where she lives. it's not good to add pointless burdens to them :sad:

    i'm sure the penniman's will make updates and tell what they wanna tell!

     

    let's pray and wait patiently for good news (:

    So we all know Mika's sister is sick at the moment, purpleguineapig4 and I think maybe we can have a thread gathering all kinds of blessings (including artwork, poems, videoes or anything) for her.

    The main idea is to send love and good wishes to Paloma, Mika and the Penniman's (:

     

    So if you have anything you wish to say/ you've made for Paloma and her family, feel free to post them here!

    I'll update the first post with your messages from time to time :wink2:

    I love reading about the interaction between Mika and the musicians onstage. It's something I noticed back in 2008 when the LGs and BGs watched from the side of the stage; Mika's always signalling and gesturing at them, and you can see their eyes always trained on Mika waiting for his next direction. It was even crazier on the acoustic tour without any backing tracks and they had even more "wiggle room", so to speak. I find it impressive, really. I would think it would be a bit crazy making to have someone changing things on the fly all the time. :teehee:

     

    I was just watching this vid earlier today and reminiscing. Love what Jimmy does from 5:19 on.

     

    And I love this bit, what Jimmy does on the lyrics "in a lost and found" at 1:24.

     

    I can't believe that was the first proper gig Jimmy played with Mika, and that I was fortunate enough to be there. :wub2: He's such a great catch for Mika. :punk:

    i agree it's nice to read interactions between Mika and the band on stage, they so like a family than only a group of hired people working for a boss :wub2:

    Mika's crew is now taking a break from exhausting tours, i miss them so much!

    As we're now looking for masculine names for his pup, how about Bruce? (In Nemo, Bruce is the big shark who stops or tries to stop eating fish!)

     

    Bruce is a very manly name indeed!

    other than the shark, we have martial art actor Bruce Lee :roftl:

    it will bring healthy luck to his doggy!
