  1. Adele Paris AccordHotel gig has sold out and tons of blackmarket tickets are all around... is there any chance to get spare tickets at a bit reasonable prices? XD

  2. About asking the promoters or the venue -- when I asked the management at the Adelphi about bringing in props, etc. for the fan actions that were proposed they told me NO, not if they were going to obscure anyone else's view.

And FWIW,  the management for the Adelphi is also the management at the Palladium, as they are both part of the Really Useful Theatre Group.

I don't know if they would have actually barred anyone from entering the theater if they'd been carrying oversized buildings, for example, but it is hard to go and do something once you've asked and been denied permission.  :dunno:

However, there is an old saying that goes something like, "Sometimes it's better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission." :das:

Maybe the stuffs are too big ? We ask local promotors and the promotors get permission from the venue side and Team Mika also...

If Mika's planning to make a mess at the venue using and shooting confetti during the show, it means the fans could make a mess there too  :naughty:

Of course sometimes it's better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission (I love that quote!) but if we need to get into the venue before the show to prepare that fan action... permission is required to make things easier....  :naughty:

  3. If Mika wants to do a symphonic concert in Korea, surely his team can arrange it. How hard can it be?

They just have to approach an orchestra to get them to play at the concert, and then arrange a venue. Not so much different from any other gig.

I hope your campaign succeeds, but why does everything to do with Mika playing anywhere but Italy and France, need the fans to keep on campaigning and begging for him to do it?

He need sponsors to do symphonic concerts in other cities... it costs a lot ...he said.....it's not in his hands.

The reason we're doing such a campaign is... to let possible sponsors know that Mika's doing such an amazing symponic concert in other countries.

I know that several possible sponsors, broadcast or radio hosts.. and lots of gig promotors already joined Mikaholix so keep sending news about this campaign by Email and notes...it's a good chance to let lots of ppl know that Mika's doing such an classic crossover concert, which is not very familiar in Korea ..

Well we just moved on to Yellow stage, and it requires 2000 ppl to join to move on to final stage! Oh gosh......

Mika had a V-app chat recently and was asked about "Symphonic Concert in Seoul". His answer was, he really want to do it and need a campaign for that. So, Korean fans decided to start a campaign for real, through the website "MyMusicTaste". MyMusicTaste is a fan-initiated concert making platform, already hosted and linked lots of concerts in the world. We are planning to crack every stage and need help of lots of fans to make it. Once all cleared, the platform host would move for that and find promotors and sponsors for us.

Please click the link below, and click the "Make" button and share at twitter and faceboook, and add comment there for us. Our goal is "Symphonic Concert in Seoul".  The platform is not only for Seoul Concert, but a place for "please take mika to our country" also.

Hope it would help other fans who want Mika to play their home country.

and Dear MFCers in the world, help us please!! Our goal is more than 1,000 ppl to click "MAKE" and clear every stage that the website requires.

  5. I've been checking flights to London and looking at calendar everyday...

Is there enough space to hide me in your suitcase? :naughty:

Enjoy it there! I'm looking forward to hearing your experience. :wink2:

I secretly booked my flight already...and my family want to have a family vacation on that week.....  :mf_rosetinted:

    God save me....  :naughty:

  6. In Korea, the fan club had placed the items (In Busan was the sun/star) which was stuck behind each chair. In Seoul the streamers were put in small bags in each chair with instructions . Otherwise it doesn't work well as collective action.

Maybe for London have multi coloured stars? Looks great when phone lights up behind  :mika1:

To make it perfect, it's necessary to discuss and set up things with the concert promotors and the venue... there're some restrictions upon the venue condition and seat places and the stage...lights ...so on.

I go this gig so would be amazing if I could experience something special in London! Surely small audience tricks empowers the concert!

Those pictures are from a luxury magazine "Noblesse Men" ...and this magazine releases to very limited channel... directly to very luxury places and shops.. not available in general bookstores or online shops. They only get orders by phone and heard that the magazine office got lots of phonecalls all day ... all from devoted Mika fans who want to order that magazine .... :lmfao: Sorry for them ..think they would get more calls next week....  :mf_rosetinted:

  8. I have to say thanks for your (and all Korean fans') passionate devotion to fan actions, I loved the lollipops!

I did'n have any because I didn't know how to order it. So I felt a bit awkward... even in the seated stand area, everyone brought the lovely illuminating lollipop.

Luckily, I met a generous couple who were sitting behind me, they gave me one for free!

Such things happened many times during my travel in Korea. . 감사합니다!

The lollies are only available in Mikaholix, during very limited period before the show... it's fan stuff and designed by Holix admin also.  For this year's tour we got the order from 1st Jan to 14th Jan, just two weeks... and I got about 1,500 orders and the amount was over 10,000,000 KRW . Then I collect and make the order sheet and negotiate with the factory about the details and unit price so on... and the factory make them and ship to the each address. It's a biggest job to me this time, more than preparing those fan actions... and it made me totally exhausted for a month :( ... We holix admins did that for 6 years, just before each Mika gig in Korea... we get orders about 300 to 500 normally but this time it's 3 times more and I think I can't handle this any more... it started with small fun but it became too huge. No wonder lots of ppl have them, as 3,000 lollies are sold during past 6 years even though we get orders during very very limited period.

Oh I or other admins do not get any commercial profit from that. Hope no one misunderstand us... it started from very small fan stuff but....not small any more.

Glad to hear that you could have one from a kind fan.  Mika fans are always kind and nice to fellow mika fans in this Mika world  :)

Pity I sent 20 lollies to the Mika crew and band members (Not to Mika himself... ) through the promotor team, but can't sure anyone get this as no one post that on their twitter ..  :pinkbow:

  9. Hello,

I still have not found right words to express my impression about the night...It was beautiful, heartful, memorable gig.

It was my first MIKA gig in Seoul. Busan was great the night before, but Seoul was something more.

Fans packed with the Jamsil Indoor Stadium were awfully energetic and sung every single song along, yelled in a high voice at every single movement of MIKA. The enthusiastic cheers pushed MIKA to get in the groove. Acutually his parformance was much better than the day before.

His gratefulness for them was written all over his face, especialy he played "Stardust". I am not a Korean, but it was so emotional to see that he was deeply moved and have a view of the audience for a while. :tears:

There was a high degree of confidence between MIKA and Korean fans. That made the show so special one.

Thank you Seoul, One of the best places for MIKA gig for sure.

Here's a link to my SoundCloud audio track, enjoy!

It's his 7th show in Korea.... and I went to his every concert in Korea since 2009... and 2016's crowds were the best.... the reactions ... and singing...

and the amount of lollipops... oh I was totally exhausted preparing the lollipops ... almost 1500 lollies. were sold in 2 weeks, that's insane!

Korean mika fans are multiplied every year. seriously.. he doesn't do The Voice or X factor or whatever else.... the amount of fans are just multiplied by youtube and internet so on! Even record company say it's very extraordinary case. There're only just few western popstars who can beat Mika's name in Korea....   Koreans love singing along in concerts...but crowds only can sing some hit numbers, not all songs. Only Mika concert ppl knows EVERY SINGLE LINE, EVERY SINGLE SONG IN Setlist from very old song like My interpretation to French songs Elle Me Dit. I've been to so many concerts in Korea, like Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars...obviously bigger names in this world, but ppl only sings some line of a couple of hit songs, not all of them. In Mika concert... everything. The entire audience knows every lines of every song in whatever setlist is, like they have listened all of mika songs in their entire life. :lmfao: It's just incredible.

Yeah...that night was .... we say it's more like a 'Heaven Karaoke' :lmfao: When he played in Korea in earlier days he seemed very surprised and overwhelmed to see what's happening there... but now he's so used to our reactions and exactly knows how to conduct the crazy audience to be into his show....  he controls and play with us... like the audience is part of his band :naughty:

  10. Hello,

Sorry for being late, just a quick report.

Here's a link to some photos from Daegu gig.

    Enjoy!

    http://s666.photobucket.com/user/NaoMika/slideshow/20160214DAEGU

The final of Korean tour and it was Valentine's day!

MIKA arrived around 2:00pm at the venue, EXCO Hall 1. He was together with his band members on the limousine bus. Wearing a knit cap and sunglasses, looked casual but so cool as usual.

I loved the stage with the caravan but it was so pity I couldn't see the left half of the caravan due to the seat setting (I was on 3rd row in B block). Most of people around me were watching at the display when the caravan was transformed.

MIKA was pretty good in mood, very active after a day off. Buzzing around the stage, even on the floor on the audience level when he sung SATS. He drove the show from the beginning to the end. He made a mistake on piano, and then played ad-lib song about mistake, that was funny. I loved it. Peperplanes fan surprise was very successful. I enjoyed the view of paperplanes flying all over the floor.

Fans I met in Daegu were so kind and nice to me as well as Seoul and Busan. I had a good time in a cafe with a MIKA fan for chatting after the gig. Thanks.

After the show, he came out from the venue to say bye-bye to fans. Fans were waiting for him in a single line along the pavement. It was a freeeeezing night, so he was in an anorak reminded me a bit of Southpark. He passed by in front of me with a smile. I had a chance to have a small chat with him, so sweet. Korean fans brought him a lots of presents. His hands were full of such gifts and people started flocking around him. Then a car came to pick him and went back to the venue.

It was great to be in Korea, I will definitely be back to this country to see MIKA and lovely MIKA fans!

    NaoMika☆

Thank you for the report. The Venues itself is worst ever ...the view..... pity Daegu doesn't have many options... better to book 1500 seats of auditoriums than this rubbish hall.... (it's for exhibition, not concerts!) Thankfully the show itself was amazing and the vibe was excellent as well! Hope you had good memories in Daegu too!

  11. I loved Daegu gig more than Seoul personally...! Maybe I was a bit relaxed before the gig as the paper plane is easier than those damn thousands packs of streamers and gold glitters in Seoul. I never could do this again after.... It really burned me out for months and totally exhausted...   :naughty: The Daegu venue was terrible (as expected..) but the sound system was slightly better than Seoul. And I had quite a good seat, 1st row, just in front of the Caravan.

With Promotor's help, Holix admins could arrange the planes on every seat before the show, took about 30 mins around, so I could have time to chill out till the door open....and I came back to the venue just 10 mins before the show! The paper plane went out good and think the audience enjoyed much more than Mika himself :lmfao: I was at 1st row so hit by lots of planes... but not that dangerous or hurt as it just hit my back and head. Except two things - one the lights, even though I asked the promotor to request the light engineer to light on that moment, but totally ignored, and two, one women next me who maybe thought it's a darting game toward Mika  :sneaky2:  I screamed her  'DO NOT THROW THAT TO MIKA!!!' and sadly didn't work. Thankfully Mika left the Caravan side after her two planes... oh gosh. Well except that, everything was perfect and the show was more amazing than Seoul

    Here's my record.... DOWNLOAD-SENDSPACE

Edited song by song and Kiara made me beautiful front image for this. Enjoy!
