    Ok, let's make a small report of the Paris show :

     

    I arrived at Le Yono around 6:30 pm and met others fans. We came inside (it was a bar too) and order a drink to wait till 8 pm.

    iMMa was so nice. She came talk to us, had a glass of water and then had to go to make the sound check.

    At 8pm : we went downstairs but could not enter before 9:15 pm :boxed: but we talk a lot so time went fast enough.

     

    The gig took place in a sort of chapel underground : very nice place. Then iMMa came down with a wonderful dress : wow, you should have seen her. She was soooo sexy. She wore her tights with Eiffel Tour on them, paper hearts were paste on her eyelash, make up...

     

    She began around 9:30 with her band : see photos for the list of the songs

    She played bass and piano : she was perfect !!! Her voice is so gorgeous !!! And a new song called 'Fly away bird ' which is sooo nice ::) and Wonderful which she originally played in Paris in Feb : I just loved them both so much (hope a new album or EP will come out soon :biggrin2:)

     

    Not many had come but there was a good atmosphere and with the girls we sang a lot but since iut was an acoustic performance, we could scream out loud ... so, we keep that for next time :roftl::roftl:

     

    Then Josh Beech and the Johns made there part : it was cool. I didn't know them but I appreciated there performance too. iMMa went on stage with them for a song to make some vocals

     

    At the end, some shopping, some goodbye and back to the hotel.

    I was my first iMMa's gig and I do not regret my travelling away at all. I had an amazing gig and I met other Fans : so kisses to Vanessa, Maggie, Emilie, Alice' et Annabelle :group_hug:

     

    She said that on Thursday, she was making a photo shooting in Versailles with "a beautiful dress". She may play in a festival in Versailles in June 21st (but not entirely sure about that, we'll wait for more info)

     

    PS : sorry, I don't have photo because my stupid head forgot to bring my camera ...GRRRRR :hair::badmood: !!!

    New gig announced on May 4th, 2011 at the Proud Galleries - London. Entry on pre-sale = 4£ and 5£ otherwise (I think it's that but not entirely sure for the pre-sale)

     

    It seems like iMMa will be sharing the stage with MISSING ANDY // DOUCE ANGOISSE // GLASS DIAMOND (Single Launch) // DEVILLE. Don't know any of them but more info here : http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=167482339973329

    I'm torn about this :teehee: On one hand I suppose iMMa would want her own career to be keeping her so busy that she doesn't have time to tour with Mika. On the other hand, she sounds so freakin' amazing with him that I always want her to stick around. Happy Ending will never be the same without her. :crybaby:

     

    Oh that is soooooooo true. What I love is that everyone agree on this point.

    If she doesn't go with Mika, I hope her career will soar quickly. She deserves it so much, I mean : she rocks, she's beautiful, her voice is perfect and her presence and energy on stage is uncomparable ... But as you said, we'll see ....:wink2:

    I really loved iMMa in Hungary at the Sziget festival, she's an energy bomb! Love her!

     

    Agree so much here... I really hope she'll make the Summer festivals. For Mika too, it will be the best : she knows all his songs apart from the new songs but it 's a good start :biggrin2:

     

    I was at iMMa's Japan fundraising gig last night and recorded the whole thing, so I'll upload that later today. She also announced that Mika had donated towards the cause.

    Wow, that is so nice of Mika. iMMa was amazing organizing those 2 charity gigs.

    It seems like a frenzy around Judas will be going on for the coming weeks here and around the world...:biggrin2:. I'll try to listen to it tomorrow...

     

    've never come into this thread so I will just tell you how I get so much respect for Gaga as a genuine artist :I saw this video of Speechless (acoustic version)

    Today, at 9 pm, iMMa's interviewed + acoustic performance (repeated) will be aired at http://www.brooklandsradio.co.uk/

     

    Lovely interview, btw, they talk a lot about Mika's shows and iMMa even says "Hi" to the MFC! :aah::wub2:

     

    And the interview was filmed, and will be on Hannah Dorman's online show tomorrow. Follow her on twitter (@hannahdorman ), she'll post the link today I believe. :thumb_yello:

    Wow, this gig seems to have been so AWESOME !!! :mf_rosetinted:

    I'm so angry i could not go to see it, even though i'd bought my train tickets for Paris.. (well stupid Finance Course !!! :crybaby:)

    Anyway, new gigs are planned :

    First : April 3rd at The Bowery (New Oxford Street - London) for Japan

     

    Second : April 27th at the Yono (Paris : This time, I'll go, no other way :thumb_yello:)

    I'm looking forward her show in Paris on Thursday... There was a competition for those who participate :

    iMMa will play her first gig in Paris in 9 days ! Because it's gonna be a great great night, we want to celebrate it, and offer you the possibility to meet the band and be our live reporter !

     

    You wanna try ? Easy ! Answer to those three questions at this email (f_dutronc@hotmail.com) before sunday 20th (00h00).

    What do you win ? A special meeting on Feb 24th afternoon, following the band in Paris, talking, joking, interviewing... whatever, then come with us at the soundcheck and assist to the concert. After that crazy day and night, you're free to send us a live-report that we will publish (if you're ok) on the website and iMMa's press kit !

     

    The questions :

    - how did you discover iMMa

    - can you tell us why you love her, why is she inspiring you ?

    - what kind of perfect gig will she perform ? let's be crazy, city, place, planet, set, guests...

     

    On Feb. 20th, the contest ends. On Feb. 22nd, I announce the winner here on Facebook (and send an email to the winner with all the detail).

    .par iMMa, vendredi 11 février 2011, 07:09.Saturday... was a lazy morning and picking up bits and bobs.... walked Banjo, Banjo puked all over the car (was gross... looked like he had eaten a small animal as there was a whole load of intestines and what looked like a small foetus) Honestly I love that dog but he is properly rank at times!!! He continued puking.... I think it was the remains of a dead creature and his body violently reacted to it!!!

     

    I went to my function gig in Oxford and came back at 2:30 then got woken up at 4:30am by Banjo puking again!!! Not nice....

     

    Sunday , dropped the big man off at Heathrow off on his European Tour and headed off to Wimbledon for doggy walks and a day with my sisters! After the walk we headed to the I-Max at Waterloo and watched Tangled in 3D.... AMAZING!! I love Maximus the horse, totally reminded me of Banjo!!! After the movie off to Le Pain Quotidienne for yummy open sandwiches, tea and cakes!!.... Then back home for a good ol' family dinner!!

     

    On Monday - the house was cleaned and I started trying to write a dance track (which yes I am still trying to do!!!), gym and dog walks!!

     

    Tuesday I walked Banjo with my friend Charlotte, her son Alexander and her dog, Freddie - they had good fun as they always do!! After my walk I went to Selfridges to see my friend, Kei Kagami's shoe exhibition, which are being exhibited and you can also buy his shoes there!! He is wonderfully talented and modest - here is a very rare interview of him....

     

     

    If anyone saw the necklaces from my Album Launch - the zip necklace was an idea of his.

     

     

    After I saw his exhibition I had a meeting with a lovely lady named Fiona.... after this meeting we have come to the conclusion that she will begin to manage me in the UK (as Laura unfortunately has no more time due to work schedule). So please welcome Fiona to the iMMa Team!!

     

    After my meeting with Fiona, I went to james from Dice Jar to finish a sing we had written previously..... which I love..... Check him out here, he's playing the o2 later this month:

    Wednesday took me across to town for a lovely day with my good friend, Amy - please check her music out. She is one of THE most talented musicians, writers EVER. Her lyrics are beautifully poetic... I love her!!! A day of doggy walks, cuddles, fish'n'chips and chats!! Perfect!

    Thursday my friend Kate came over for some writing and a catch up - she started writing a song at 2am that morning - so we finished that song... Which was great!! She is again, fabulous.... Check our her serious drumming skills here:

    In the evening.....a night with Jimmy's wife to be... us tour widows have to stick together!! Mark and Jimmy both away so Cat and iMMa will play!!! Cat made me a lovely dinner and then we went to see the fabulous, The Chain play. I have never seen them before, I really enjoyed myself, lyrically and melodically beautiful.     This morning I woke up at Cat's had cuddles with Breakfast and then... off to walk Banjo... walked him, went to the Korean Super Market and picked up some frozen gyoza, siu mai, pork buns and my favourite - ice cream mochi!!! YUM!!!! Now here I am writing my blog and procrastinating.... MUST FINISH THIS DANCE TRACK!!!!! AND learn my Senser songs to be ready for my first gig with them on 12th March!!!

    Come on Mika... Go up again. Had spent the day voting in my HR workshop at college today which made me in bad term with my teacher for good I think !:naughty:

    Annoy that we don't go up faster.: well, power of Mathematics i assume (the more votes, the less each increases the pourcentage :blink:

    I'll be voting on my smartphone till I fall asleep!

    And if it 's not sufficient, we'll beat them next time (here a twinkling for the 'evil spies' :roftl:) . And anyway Mika will always be GOLDEN in our heart ...

    Hey guys, I've been with you for 2 days voting as much as i could... But since I don't have Internet at home, I had to do it with my tiny smartphone... So angry to see him lose points like this! Ggrrr!!!

    Should be sleeping by now since it's more than 2am in France and i should wake up in 5hrs for a 9hr-long HR workshop tomorrow but wanted to let you know that we're still fighting here in Europe. ;-) Good luck &good night

    like anybody here on this thread who did not attend this special / amazing / extraordinary / unique... gig, I'd also like to say thanks you to the mfcers who shared their pics, videos, feelings with us... I think it's important for us because as I read some reports, watch some vids, I had some chills behind my laptop :blush-anim-cl:...

     

    Thanks to you Tiibet, Suzie, Sephira, Silver, Axie Dentelle, Nanou :wub2:

     

    Now, looking forward the officals videos of all the gig :mf_lustslow:...(and I do not give up my hope on the acoustic tour at ALL!!! No way. He has to do it and in June, because after I should work one full year with no holidays so pleaaaaaaaase... keep hoping with me !!)
