Is this the same jacket he wore in the beginning of the Kick Ass video?

See, that's what I mean -- there's nothing exceptional about how Mika looks

in those photos. Well, I think he always looks exceptional

but I mean there's nothing exceptional about how he's dressed.

 

Ho hum, just another good-looking guy in some regular clothes.

 

When he wears something quirky or unconventional like the pompom

scarf or the crinkly jacket, it sets him apart, makes a statement that

he's different. I kinda like that. He wears clothes so well, he

really CAN wear just about anything and get away with it...

but I would hate to see him in tailored suits and designer jeans all the

time -- I much prefer to see him in something that shows a little character,

a little quirkiness or whimsy, even if it is just the occasional offbeat

scarf or pink bowler or feathery cummerbund thingamabob (wish I knew the right

word for what that is! LOL!). JMO.

Couldn't have said it better! I just love Mika for his music and his totally individual style.

Interviewing stars of Kick-ass on Irish radio and have just played Mika singing Kick-Ass and the stars and dj are all singing along.

Love the video, great song, very catchy. I think this should do well with the younger audience the film will attract.

He absolutely did! When we (LG's and BG's) got to take a group picture with him he hardly looked at us, while the night before (yes, I've been so lucky, being a LG two nights in a row) he shook all our hands and looked us intensely in the eyes (as only he can). When some girls were hanging around him a little too long he looked at John and said his name and John came to his aid.

The LG and BG meet and greets were very brief but since I was expecting nothing I was already happy we got to see him after the show at all.

 

What can I say (apart from the fact that, instead of what I had in mind, after one hour of sleep because of changing flights because a certain curly haired bloke asked us on Sunday if we would want to be LG's and BG's again on monday- it is not possible to spend a whole day at school ).

This is highly, highly addictive. The show yesterday was even better then on Sunday. Mika on (big) fire. The band too. Don't forget the crowd. And the BG's and LG's. Everything worked. One of the best gigs I have ever been to.

Amazing. I found a beautiful vid of Lollipop on youtube. I am the LG with the big head. It was really wobbly so I couldn't move the way I wanted to. That was frustrating. But apart from that: amazing. I wish I could be there every single gig (preferably as LG ).

 

Lucky Lucky you! Wish I had gone last night but I wasn't brave enough to organise and make the journey on my own. I hope he gets plenty of rest soon.
