I can't believe anyone found it since he's not identified. How funny that his friend stumbled across it.

Such a coincidence, isn't it? I find it funny how he simply mentions it as "this girl likes my bag" and not "I've been posing for streetstyle blogs these days"...

I'm glad to know that wandering around the city with an iPad gives me a modern intellectual air.

In Brazil, it's more like "I have enough money to buy one, so I should better put it inside my bag before someone takes it from me".

That's how I have been approaching it. I was the same with my condo (apartment). I bought it 3 years before it was built and there were many delays as there are with these things. People would ask me if I was excited but I just put it out of my mind for the most part until a final date was set and I could make serious preparations to move in. If I'm not going to worry about my life hanging in limbo for years while my condo is built I'm not going to worry about Mika's album.

 

Mika hasn't even said anything until this week to get excited about anyway. I'm sorry but Greg, Andy and Mika talking about how good it is...well they are going to think that aren't they? I'm sure Mika thinks all his songs are amazing but I definitely prefer some over others.

Oh my, I can totally relate. How many times have you heard me talking about my, now so famous, trip-to-Europe-when-Mika-tours? I was freaking out and feeling like living in limbo and getting all depressed () until the day I thought OK, DONE WITH THIS S*. Now I'm living happily ever after until Mika tours.

No I don't think it is. All Mika fans are welcome to become members of MFC. You can't hold it strictly to "thank you for 5 years of support". How many of us have been active members of MFC for 5 years? I haven't. Some members were here 5 years ago and some signed up yesterday. They are all members of the MFC that has been supporting Mika for 5 years.

 

My sense is that no outcome would have satisfied everyone (I mean people seemed to be rooting for a long time MFCer and someone who had never seen Mika at the same time which is a circumstance that applies to just about no one here).

 

So I would hope people would be graceful about this, especially when the rules were clear when the raffle started and no one objected to them at the time.

Exactly. One thing is to say that it would have been great if the winner were someone we know. Yes, it would. Another thing is to complain about the rules at this time! Will it be awesome if we have details about Karla's experience? Yes, it will. But it's absolutely silly to discuss the rules now that the whole thing is over - we all knew which were the instructions since the very beginning. Would you all be discussing this if the winner were someone being here since 2007? I bet you wouldn't even remember which were the rules.
