  1. Mika got a HUGE cake on stage bought by us (thanks to Lucrezia, FraLovesMika and GraceKelly85) and David played Happy birthday while we were singing all together!Heaven!Plus balloons during WAG and flowers during LT!

    We rule!!!

After we had a M&G where we ate cake and chatted with a happy Mika! Priceless!

2 more things I lernt about him:

    1. He likes surprises (not a news, uh?)

    2. He's scared of flying bugs =P

Thanks for that! CANNOT WAIT to see it on video :naughty:

  2. FFS!!!! have you ever read something like this??????

this news paper has written a report only about the catering!!!!!

    it´s very very interesting!!!!!!!

use the google translator and ask about what you can´t understand...i have no time to translate all the report!!!

DIOS MIO! pero bastante que entro en detalle el periódico! :naughty: At first it sounds like he was being a bit of a DIVA with the catering, bit in reality he wasn't...everything mentioned there was fairly simple (in comparison to Mariah Carey who asks for fresh white Lilys in vases and EVERYTHING white in her dressing room :boxed:) I really liked the idea of the trash cans and the whole bit on recycling :blush-anim-cl: He has such a good heart...even with our environment:thumb_yello:

  3. He didn't say "flowers"... :tears: I was watching a video on youtube and finally got what he said...

He said "let's turn off the lights", cause everyone had their cellphones, lighters, etc on, and the effect was absolutely amazing, and even better with the lights off.

    Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Suaidhv1vx0

Ok! Gotcha! I thought I was going deaf for a second there :teehee:

  4. IMO,mika was in a hurry... in no one of my last gigs the songs were so (i don´t know how to say this in english) close.. i mean.. there was no time between one song and the following... but of course mika was on fire... more on fire than he was in any other of my gigs...

btw... mika had his eyes close most of the time on relax... (the first time he performed relax,of course:mf_rosetinted:)..

about the toy boy... if any one of the mods can please ask for mika´s forgiveness from spanish mfcers... please,do it... i still remember mika´s face and he saying "por favor,no maten al toy boy" (please, don´t kill the toy boy)... he spent like 5 seconds motionless... be sure no one of mfcers i know were in that business.

no m&g after the gig. a friend of mine who was a big girl, told us that mika has his plane at 7am.... so he was in hurry...

by the way i´m so ... mika´s gig finished at 11.45.... and....

    he tweeted at 11.47!!!!

    it was like:

*mika says good bye,and goes to the backstage*

mika: MOM!! MOM!! MY I PHONE!!!! AND MAKE IT SNAPPY!!!!

*mamaP thows him the iphone,he jumps to catch it,while in the air,he quickly looks for the twitter application, still in the air he uses his nice speller to tweet (all in slow motion,of course)and impressively,he manages to press the "sent" button before reaching the floor*

it couldn´t be any other way:mf_rosetinted:

i met lots of spanish fans... i don´t want to say names, but you know who you are... it was our first meeting, but i´m sure we´ll share more gigs...

i´m also very happy to see again friends from other gigs... all portuguese people, who were very nice, they also taught me to speak in portuguese, now i can perfectly say "sergio" :mf_rosetinted:,and OMG!!!! carlota was almost as tall as me!!!!..... of course i met luis:mf_lustslow: and rocio:wub2: again... we were in vigo and we were like "let´s go to eat some local food... we love gastronomic tourism" so,we went to a mac donald´s :mf_rosetinted: we wanted to make sure that the big mac is the same everywhere...:mf_rosetinted:

this time i have very little pics ´cause i took vids... nice vids with a nice video cam, till a stupid-security boy, came to me and said "turn the f*cking cam off"..... then i started to take vids with my photo-camera... so....

    i will upload everything later....

I F*****G LOVE THE WAY YOU REPORT! lol You have a very DRY sense of humor as do I :teehee: It seems as if he had the tweet pre-typed so he would only have to press SEND as soon as he finished up the gig and walked off the stage :roftl:

  5. Eeeeerm.http://index.hu/kultur/zene/fesztiva...dott_macsosag/

This review is just what I expected. They call Mika fag, bisexual, they say that he makes fun of gay people. But to be fair they're writing good things about him too. They write that he's too handsome, too cute, too energic etc.

Of coarse, leave it up to ignorant people to even mention such things. What does any of that have to do with his artistry!? Anyhow, Yes..handsome, cute and energetic he is! Theres no ignoring or denying that! They forgot to mention one other quality though...CHICKENY! HA!

P.S. I cant view the link and even if I could I see that I wouldn't be able to understand :-/ why do they say he makes fun of gay people??!!

  6. This is a short report, as I am leaving for holiday early in the morning but I definitely would like to be among the first ones to report from my home gig :wub2: (In fact, I am not sure if there will be many reports as most Hungarians just write to the Hungarian thread and it is not a lot of us).

As some of you might have been reading my tweets, we had a pretty tough time with fans of some of the support acts. I don’t think it is worth talking about them, but the ones standing like statures and looking bored really made me angry. I did understand them insisting on their spots, even if they knew we’d leave after Mika, but I did not get why they were standing like statues and looking bored during Mika’s performance. It might have been mainly my impresstion, but much of the audience did not really know how to enjoy themselves – as I expected, actually. Luckily, it did not effect me in particular as I had a great time singing, jumping and cheering with some MFCers around but I am sure Mika would have loved some more enthusiasm. I mean, there was some interaction but not like at his own gigs, so I missed that.

Still, it was a good gig despite all odds and I am really pleased with the fact that now anyone in Hungary who has the least bit of interest in him now had the chance to go and see him live and understand what he is all about. I talked to some people and it seems that Hungarian MFCers all liked the gig, although some of their ideas to ’impress’ him failed as they arrived relatively late. (you can’t start planning anything at 5pm in an audience most of whom came to see another band.)

Otherwise the gig was short: no time for LG / BG parade, and he did not sing KA or DrJohn, either. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t do anything differently. It was a different experience, but I am really pleased I fought to stay 2nd row. It was worth it:blush-anim-cl:

    What were they planning??

Btw Thank you so much for the report! Mika can make it through ANYTHING, regardless of the crowd, I am POSITIVE more than a hand full of people who did not know about him left wanting to go home and research his music!!

  7. THIS JUST HAPPENED THIS WEEK!....

*My friends Johnny and Audrey who used to work for Casablanca Records as Head of Internet Marketing and Branding*

**I play LICM while I drive with Johnny**

    Him: Oh! Thats Mika!

    Me: Um. Yep!

    Him: What a cool guy...

    Me: You like him too?!

Him: Well, I say it because I met him at Casablanca a while back, a real cool dude.

    Me: DIE

    **Few days later**

Him: Audrey, He likes your buddy Mika's music...

Her: OMG! MIKA!!! He's such a sweetheart!!! I would see him every time he came here to NY, he always stopped by.

Me: *reaching for an oxygen mask due to the mere thought of getting to meet him through them, while thinking to myself, don't seem obsessed, and DO NOT scream at them for not telling you this before*...*even though they didn't know you liked his music lol*
