My friend just pointed out to me yesterday that OSM released a handful of tickets on sale (Chorus area) for the price of 50 bucks !

Has anybody familiar with the venue experienced the chorus? I heard the acoustics weren't optimal. Thoughts? I'm tempted to buy a ticket for the third night....

I don't mean to clutter up the travel plans discussion with chit-chat about this, but I thought that everyone who ought to be involved in what I'm proposing below will be reading this thread. Hope that's OK.

 

So... several of us have thought that it would be nice to send Mika flowers for his dressing room in Montreal. We realize this trip is expensive enough for those of you traveling from abroad, and we don't want to overburden you with yet another expense. But if you'd like to contribute, you can -- with as little or as much as you can afford. Just send me a PM with the amount you can chip in! Then we can make arrangements for you to Paypal me (or pay me in person when you see me!).

 

I'm just putting this out there for those MFCers who will actually be in Montreal, think that makes the most sense.

Hey ! I posted a message a couple of weeks ago regarding the fact I'd be more than willing to host any MFC members for 1-3 nights I live with two other college students (we all go to McGill university) and would be more than glad to have someone chill on our futon. Helping out fellow MIKA friends

I live on the corner of rue sainte-elisabeth and rue sainte-catherine, basically a 5 min walk max to OSM in the quartier des spectacles.

Oh man! Boum Boum Boum would be super interesting to hear with an orchestra... I would be interested to see how they adapt it. And the reason why I put 10 was because I thought that was what I heard from an interview o.0 Hopefully it's more than 10 !

I'm Digital Love (for those Daft Punk fans, yes, that's where I got my inspiration... ) and I wanted to say hi to all you beautiful people. I'm so happy to be part of this community!

I joined the MFC yeaaars ago (probably 2009...?) but lost my login info and decided to create a new profile in 2011 under this name. To tell you the truth, I have been quite intimated to actively participate in the MFC because I was quite unfamiliar with the design of the website, how things worked, and tried posting couple things, but it didn't seem to work... NOW I FIGURED IT OUT ! haha

I am originally from France (lived there until I was 14), recently from Chicago (spent my high school years there) and am currently studying at university in Montreal (Canada). I love it here so much

First time I heard MIKA was in 2007 (he was all the craze in France at that time) and saw him at Parc des Princes, fell in love with his art and personality ever since, following him around as much as money/time could allow me to (as we all have)

I'm so excited to see Mika this February and cannot wait to meet some of you guys. You all seem so passionate and fun! So yeah, here's my little intro, please don't hesitate to say hi Currently writing 10 million research papers for school... wish me luck....
