    Five Guys That Should Be in Queen Instead of Adam Lambert

     

    ​Rumors are swirling that former American Idol Adam Lambert is going to be teaming up with Queen for live performances.

     

    We've got some bones to pick about this. While Lambert said he'll be doing this "to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some ****ing great songs," that can't possibly be his only motive. If he wants to pay tribute to Queen, he should start a tribute band.

     

    Lambert isn't exactly the best pick for someone to take the place of Freddie Mercury, which, for the record, nobody should even be doing in the first place. He's Freddie Mercury. You can't top that. But if anyone is going to try, surely there must be some better options.

     

    That's why we came up with a list of five guys who would be more suitable for this position than Adam Lambert.

    Mika came right out about his Freddie obsession in the song "Grace Kelly" when he sang, "So I try a little Freddie!" Mika's voice is similar to Freddie's too.

    Even if I would never want Mika to join Queen, it's so good to read someone thinks he would be a good choice for them :fangurl:

     

    And I love what they wrote under the Mika pic... "Mika, let that 'stache grow, buddy." :lmfao::lmfao::lmfao:

     

    I love Adam Lambert, but your post is too right to disagree :biggrin2: Adam really doesn't suite Freddie's style, and ofcourse Marc Martel would be the most clever choice (my point). But yes, Mika would be better than Adam, litterally.

    I would be scared as hell if I had to be on a show but I would do it anyway. You should do it if that's what you want because otherwise you might regret it later. About being shy... I have seen these TV shows with teenagers before and a lot of them actually seem shy. It's now a bad thing to be shy, even on TV, if you know what you want to say and don't freak out or anything:D

    I need your help guys... hmmm there's a show in Quebec where teenagers can write the celebrity they want to meet on their website, and the team will get you to meet them or "him" in my case... I just thought it would be a good idea since Mika needs a liiittle publicity on those tvs and I'll get to make my dream come true... Though. I am VERY shy to be on TV. And not just that, they even get you at SCHOOL. and I'm even SHY"ER" to be in front of Mika... And even SHY"ER" "ER" to tell my parents about it. Thoughts? Help? I know y'all experts you can help me :biggrin2:

     

    The basic thing about this show is the people that meet her fav celebrity can ask questions to him and it depends what activity the program organises to do with him and the fan, while asking the questions. so HELLP!

    I can relay my life to his. With his songs. And a little with his childhood. He plays piano, I do too. He's very theatrical and his music collides with my personality. Mostly, he's shy and loves to stay in a little bubble on his own. And that's mostly what I have in common with him.

     

    EDIT: I forgot the most important fact; we both are Lebanese.

    I wonder why they flipped the image . . . it's a little distracting seeing his hair parted on the wrong side. :aah: Even if they didn't think anyone would notice, why do it? Can something like that happen accidentally? I know nothing about the technical side of television production. :roftl:

     

    I think they do it to reduce those copyrighting problems. Since it's flipped, it isn't the same video or something...

    It was a wonderfull show, Mika won and trended on twitter, and he did a good job on Elle Me Dit... but I think maybe it should have had a liiiittle bit of more action. The white and jeans of the dancers were... not cool :( But the dancing was epic xD And really, for the last award, Mika deserved it more than the Pokora dude, I wasn't happy about the end. But in general in was... nice xD

    hubby did... he's good at it :naughty:

     

    you have to stand there to keep an eye on it & mix it for about 1 hour so it doesn't boil over when it's cooking

     

    It is a Quebec specialty, but we usually eat it in the spring, made with fresh maple syrup. I just thought we'd do it in January with last spring's maple syrup :naughty:

     

    January snow has more ice in it than March snow though... not quite the same, but still very good! :blush-anim-cl:

     

    Mmmmm it does look good! Well... I know all of this, I'm from Quebec too :naughty: In march on "cabane à sucre" it always tastes yummy! :teehee:

    I would really like to hear some of those juicy 70's sounds on new album rather than some 2010's DJs.

    And it's probably a clue as u said, and I agree with you, that would be really awesome that Mika would have 70's music in his album... But the fact that he has M Solveig and B Benassi (which are two DJ's) there might be some techno songs in here... A mix of both? EPIC !

    I'm still a bit worried about the collaborations though, don't you feel we might end up with a diluted Mika? :dunno:

     

    I feel weird about all of this. I am kind of worried that Mika's not gonna be like before, but in the other side, I am confident that Mika did a super job, and so many good reviews are comming. So I am CONFUSED :blink: We'll just wait :)

    It's going to be weird to say... But my brother has beiin' told 6 times that he looks like a little Mika... Yes, my bro has curly brown hair, maroon eyes and... Personally, I think myself that he really looks like him xD My brother's 12 btw haha
