I want so badly to see this livestream ! 😁 I'm just not sure I can watch it live. Anyone can tell me if the link will be valid for later use ????? 🤔

I have nothing really to add, I had the same evening as Catherine. We were really close to each other ! I was almost late as I had to pick up my friend and she was late but it's ok, We could perfectly see even if I'm very small ! I loved to see Mika and I'm always a bit annoyed when he sing with other people who make mistakes in his songs. They didn't have so much time to practice.

I liked Soran's version of Elle me dit. He sang it HIS way, he didn't try to mimic Mika.

In the vid, we can see me singing behind Mika when he sings Boum Boum Boum.

I'm actually going to be there ! I'm not following La Voix but it'll be a fun night with a friend and I'll see MIKA singing live so it worths it ! Not sure we'll wait for him after as my friend is not a huge fan but we'll see.

I wish they'll use that show to talk about an upcoming gig.

Still not sure if I buy the OSM CD alone or the Re-release album.

I really want to do a proper repport, but I will quickly say : I was very glad to see Deb again ! And very nice to meet Christine. Sorry my "speaking" english is REALLY bad and I couldn't hear you proprely so I was very ashamed. Hope we'll see each other again. Very happy to see Guylaine, Catherine and the other MFCers from Montreal and around.

I finally got my autograph on my Relax Single CD, won thanks to the MFC something like one and a half year ago. I'll show you a picture soon. Mika got out just in time, I had to take the subway and we got one of the last rides before it closed ! I felt sick the day after at work but I was better after a nad in the end of the afternoon.   I was just too tired, I can't follow Mika's life he's really too busy for me !!! I didn't got a big "Mika moment" but it's ok, he was tired, I was tired, let's go to sleep.

Quick repport as I'm going back tonight so I'm gonna do everything at the same time. It was a very nice gig !! I don't know if it's where I was or a generalised trouble, but the first 2 songs (NPIH and Toy Boy) the sound was VERY too loud and I couldn't enjoy the songs. It was like he was yelling in my ears. It came back to normal after Toy Boy. I hope it'll be ok tonight, I really love No Place In Heaven, it's one of my favourite songs of the new album ! I really enjoyed every song, I loved that we were allowed to stand up, sing and dance.

I saw Simon Leclerc in the audience before Mika talked about him !

I didn't wait for Mika after the gig, I was working this morning and anyway, I'm coming back tonight. I don't think I'll wait for him for a very long time as I'm working tomorrow morning too. I just want his autograph my Relax Single CD but I'm confident he'll come back soon... It would be easier to get his autograph Monday but again, I'm working so I can't go. 

During the gig, sometime he was speaking in English, sometime in French.

I can't go, I'm working 8 to 4. Have fun everybody who can go !! I hope many MFCers will be there !

I don't hate it, the beat is good but I have the same trouble as in a few other songs : too much lyrics, too fast. It's what makes this song so strong but I hate when I can't sing along after a few listening. So I give up... And now it's the moment I'll admit it : I still don't know by heart the whole lyrics of Love Today and Good Gone Girl. Bad fan, bad fan, I know. It's a real shame. Now I'll go hide myself in a corner.

Legit done forever for now. I'm a veterinary technician ! It's a "nurse" for animals and I work in a veterinary hospital with dogs, cats, rabbits and birds.

Not sure if I will do this like.. forever so I "may" go back to school but not now !

It's funny, I became a fan because of Elle me dit, too. But I was something like... 18 years old.

The main thing that makes this fanclub so amazing, is the fact that you can connect with people all around the world who all love Mika.

I bought two tickets but still don't know who's coming with me. But I'll be there !!!!

Will be there !! I had trouble with the presale but finally got it. Am I allowed to say that I have a spare presale code if someone (a MFCer of course) want it ? I'm not very happy about my tickets as they are in row K, at the complete right (45-47-49). But I couldnt buy tickets thursday anyway. Now I'm sure i'll be there and that's what is important.

I didn't know it was with the Jazzfest but it doesn't matter. I bet Curtis will be there with his saxophone... close enough ?

i forgot to post here, but back on February 12 2015 i walked into the dollar store @ the Complex Desjardins in Montreal and Boum Boum Boum was on the radio over the store's speakers. It had just started too so i had the entire song to be-bop & shop. After the song ended they said something in French about Mika playing with the OSM that evening.

 

I guess it's not so unusual to hear a French Mika song on a French radio station in Montreal, but it was the first time i ever walked into a business & heard Mika playing so i had to inside!

Aww Dee !! BBB is played quite often on a few radio stations here in Montreal. I heard Grace Kelly the other day in a Drugstore : THAT was unusual ! Anyway, I'm super excited every time I hear Mika on radio.

Too soon for me. Only 3 weeks later and it could have been a possibility. Too bad.

I was sorry to read it, this comment is very harsh and a bit over the top. But i'm not so enthousiastic myself about the new single. Sure, there are many songs that are worse but i had hoped to hear something more interesting from Mika. I read in a blog that this song was compared to Grace Kelly and Relax but to me these songs seem much more powerful and energetic. He used melodies from others in these songs as well and i don't mind that at all. The result was original and great. I'm afraid though that Mozart and Cutting Crew were beter examples to follow.

 

Anyway, I hope this reviewer is wrong and that many people will like the song. After all quite a few here at MFC do and i read some good reviews on internet as well. All this makes me realize that it must be very scary to release a new single. So many opinions! I remember his face when Mika talked about this song in The Voice France. He looked very proud and happy as he listened to the recording. Hopefully he'll stay as happy with it.

This review is absolutely ridiculous. It doesn't even worth to translate it, it's a trashy article.
