    ho appena visto su dee jay tv il video di Celebrate...ma mi domando, possibile che continuino a mandare sempre questo? non ho ancora visto il video di Underwater sulle tv musicali, che peccato, questo nuovo singolo stà passando inosservato, almeno in televisione e anche come vendite a quanto pare....spero che almeno per radio la mandino la canzone...meno male che ora con l'ultima apparizione a XFactor almeno stà andando abbastanza bene con Stardust, proprio questa sera ho visto su itunes che l'edizione italiana è salita al 15° posto, l'album invece purtroppo è sprofondato al n.60 :sad:

    Non che io ascolti molto la radio, quindi magari è per questo che non becco mai le canzoni di Mika, l'unica volta che ho sentito Underwater è stato PRIMA che uscisse come singolo. Continuo a non capire sta loro scelta di fare uscire proprio UW, ma vabbè :doh:

     

    Comunque TOOL è al 22 posto su iTunes, e ieri era riuscito a salire al 21°, magari hai visto la versione normale (quella Deluxe è quella in testa, quindi tanto meglio, più soldi per lui ad ogni acquisto :mf_rosetinted: )

    i think she has a good voice, but we're just too used to hearing mika's voice sing this song. :teehee: what bothers me a bit is her italian accent, so the english doesn't sound as soft as it should in this slow beautiful song. i prefer when she sings the italian part, sounds better imo. :wink2: but i guess perfect english pronounciation isn't necessary for the italian x-factor, so i can absolutely understand that the jury liked it. :thumb_yello:

     

    I agree about the accent, it's the typical italian accent when we speak in English, I guess. I've heard it in almost everyone here :mikasweat:

    Thank you for all the Videos and photos :wub2:

     

     

    As everyone who was there said, it was a really special moment at Fnac (I arrived 5 mins later at Radio DeeJay and he was already gone :tears: ).

    He was really kind and sang 5 songs instead of 3 and everyone was happy.

     

    As for me, I have some special moments I loved.

    When Tim and Max (and then Joy) arrived they went right in front of me. I looked at Tim and when he realized so, he smiled at me for SO LONG that I totally blushed and had to look away :mikasweat:

     

    When the band was going away I managed (with a couple of other girls) to ask them to sign something. It was Padua's setlist and Joy and Tim signed it, but Max disappeard :mf_rosetinted:

     

    When my turn came, I gave Mika my booklet and asked him how his tongue was. At first he looked surprised but then he realized what I was talking about and and laughed, then said that is was getting better. Then I asked him if he could sign also the setlist and so he did. Then looked at me and with a breathtaking smile said thank you (he did the same with everyone who was before me though, but it was a really special moment).

     

     

    Oh, and even if he was ill, he smiled all the time, was really kind with everyone and sang greatly :naughty:

    I think it is one of his "last year at art school student" type of videos.

     

    I feel like it was done in a rush, some of the shots didn't work, they didn't have time to shoot any more so had to cobble something together with what they'd got :dunno:

     

    You wouldn't have to come up with interpretations of what the video means if it actually reflected the song.

     

    I don't think the video will sell the song. And it will reinforce the camp image of Mika with non-fans.

     

    I perfectly agree with you..

    We all love his style of making music and the fact that he's particular, and the idea was really nice too but I didn't like at all how it was realized. I mean, the first time I saw it I was like.. "why?" :doh:

    I liked only the underwater part, but as many of you said the boat part wasn't matching with the rhythm of the song. When he announced that he wanted to realease UW as the second single I was suspicious and with this video I'm sure that sadly he'll not get tons of fans (and will not sell a lot), at least here in Italy.

     

    It's really a pity because he deserves more and Underwater is so special. But we know, most of people like commercial music with happy tunes, and special has to remain not for everyone :sad:
