  1. We do it last year for a festival. We wrote in the web, fb, twitter asking to bring Mika.I know that they made big  efforts to bring him  because they told me they wanted him in that festival but finally they did not succeed  :( What makes me think Mika doesn't always go where he's invited.  Im doing the same this year. Maybe some day we will succed.

did he had other work commitments during the festival you requested? Who knows how he/his team decide which offer to accept and which not

  2. :thumb_yello: It sounds great,  I hope MIKA will accept it!  :) My suggestion for coming here, was just a joke, as you surely understand ;) In fact, I don't think he'll ever return to Norway - because the press  don't give him any attention at all,  any more - only the radio stations keep playing GK and Relax!  So if I want to see him live, I have to go abroad... :wink2:

    Love, love

    me

    Bergenfest would be nice  :naughty:

  3. He said so himself :tears:

Yes I hope there will be a few as well...last time he said that he wouldn't do any concerts , all he did was the Nutella gig , but at least there was one and it was recorded...

And the Mobistar and Swatch ones in Autumn, they weren't open to everyone, but who knows, maybe he will be invited somewhere and there will be some chance (hope for everyone of course) even if he doesn't do a proper tour

Did you buy a subscription to the theatre?

  6. That's my video :D I have also filmed few parts of other songs but that's the only full video

Sound was amazing, finally I could sing without my voice loud on my videos :D and I'm not a good singer AT ALL

About the seated places, when he started singing Big Girl people in first rows started running towards the stage and people behind them followed (including me)

security tried to stop it but it was too many people! Mika at first stopped saying that the situation reminded him of a gig in Lebanon, then he added something like "do whatever you want!"

And he seemed to enjoy the crowd so enthusiastic

I've been to 2 other seated gigs in Italy and every time some people try to stand up and run towards the stage but it was the first time security wasn't able at all to stop it at least for most of the show (other times the audience went nuts just at the very end of the show) :P

Speaking just for me, it was amazing! I ended really close to the stage and I enjoyed so much, like having front row without any queuing :D but I can understsnd that some people felt really annoyed since the price was really expensive and that were expecting a really difference experience! I dont know if we can expect more seated Mika gigs in Italy after this one...

Now i'm still on the top of my cloud but soon I know I will start to feel post gig blues :D

  7. if it's like that in every italian city, i'm not surprised anymore that he doesn't meet his fans after the shows there.

don't think so,  sometimes local press writes the name of the hotel where he is staying so some (well, many!) fans go there, or somewhere it's really easy to figure out since every singer goes in the same one, but it doesn't happen everytime, for example, I don't remember about people going to his hotel when he came to Rome last 4 or 5 times (or at least, they go and they don't post anything on social networks so we don't know  :naughty:

In Italy he almost never meets fans after shows at the moment, but it's becoming pretty difficult in other countries also

I don't think it's always related to crazy fans behavior, for example this year I was in Prague and Barcelona and it was really relaxed atmosphere, but he didn't come out to meet fans

  8. As for the box office on the gig day, i only know it the way that it opens at the same time as the doors open - which ofc doesn't help with getting to the front. But i haven't used the box office collection option in italy yet, so maybe it's different there.

Often it works like that, but at Milan and Rome gig last September, they opened at about 4.30 PM so it was really relaxed... but it was just being lucky, since the days before we tried to phone call the Rome box office and they said like "well....we don't know... I guess we will open at about 6... or 7..."

    ...okay

  9. Hi guys,

I don't know if any of you remember me... I have been a part of the MFC for years and in the last few years I have barely logged on. I got married, started working and barely had time to brush my hair.

To cut a long story short.

WE BOOKED TICKETS! All the way from SOUTH AFRICA!

    I am losing my mind!

I have never seen Mika live! I am so excited.

    So I have questions:

    1. With regards to Ticketone's collect at venue, can I collect it on the day of the show at any time?

    2. I am very short and would like to have a good view of Mika at least, how early should I get there?

    3. Anyone doing a meet up?

Thanks for any and all help!

So many years waiting for Mika and finally I am going to him!!

happy you can finally go to see him live :D

I try to answer what I know about your questions:

    1) no, the box office has an opening hour, it's always in the afternoon, I don't know about this venues's one in particular, but sometimes they open at about 5 PM so people who are queuing can safely collect their tickets, sometimes they open shortly before gates open so it's quite stressful (if you have queued)...

Maybe you can try to contact the venue earlier asking if they can say opening hours, so you can know what to expect

    2) people in Italy start queuing really early, maybe there will be somebody coming even the night before :mf_rosetinted: , but I guess that you can be there at about 5/6/7 AM to have the front row, and later in the morning to have still a good spot in the first rows... there will be some early queuers of course, but most of the audience is still going in the afternoon or in the evening before the show starts

Anyway, have fun and enjoy the show  :hi5:

  10. Nothing much, they just explain several times how all going to standing need to be at the second gate and seated people another but in the end opened the latter one before and let in a lot of standing people who hadn't queued (and who they seemed to know). And just laughed and looked pleased afterwards. And you know, they are paid for doing all that  :sneaky2:

it seems that this type of people kind of enjoys making fun of fans who queue for hours  :bonk:

  11. Is there a chance to have presaled tickets for MFCers like it was for the concert in  Montréal ?

It was such a mess to get tickets for the concert in Come ...I fear it'll be the same here!

the venue it's bigger and there are 2 dates, but Mika in Italy is really popular atm, so yes, I fear it will be a mess  :mf_rosetinted:

let's hope everyone interested will succeed, at least, people who weren't able to get tickets for the Como show  :fisch:
