1.

    ooh thank you! :flowers2:

I had found those on ebay earlier but they were sold out, they're obviously back now, i will look into that :wink2:

but the other website seemed fine at first but when I did some research on google it didn't look reliable and i decided I didn't want to risk it, especially when something is that expensive

  2. It may be a bit silly to post this here but anyway, I'm gonna try.

I was wondering if any of you have Lozza sunglasses and then where you got them? cause i have been looking for a place to buy them online (that is not way too pricey :naughty: ) but the websites i found seemed pretty dodgy, they got really bad reviews, including the site posted above. So if you know of where i could get them as affordable as possible but, it's more important that it's legit obviously!

If you have any ideas and you could let me know I'd really apreciate it :wink2:

though i'm not sure if i will buy them yet, its a crazy price for sunglasses so i'm just looking into it

  3. Congratulations Austria! :yay:

Poland were great :thumb_yello: but I liked Austria best, then Iceland and then Poland third :thumb_yello:

    :thumb_yello::blush-anim-cl:

Gosh, please, Austria shouldn't win...the esc is too expensive for our little country :teehee:

I understand that, I'm pretyy sure if we'll ever win, we couldn't even host it ourselves :naughty:

It's sick how people whistle badly our for Russia.. O_o

    also.. AUSTRIA GOT 12!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I noticed that too, it kinda bothered me, it's not like it's those girls' fault how things are in Russia politically or was helping them at all :sneaky2:

  4. I'm gonna say which songs i like and what my fav's are. I had actually written this whole post before but it got deleted :sneaky2: but lets see if it works for my second try :naughty: I havent been into Eurovision as much as i usually am this year, for some reason, but I'm getting there now and I have formed opinions on a few of these songs :wink2:

    First semi-final

Armenia: I only noticed this song in this thread actually, and I've started liking it a little more each time i listen to it. There were some things I've heard about him that i really dislike ...buut it is of course a song contest but not a personality one.

I liked Sweden, it was the first song I remembered hearing, it's catchy enough and i like her voice in the chorus.

The Netherlands: I really like that song, it's one of my favourites this year! I just think it's very good and many have said it sounds similar to Fleetwood mac.

I think Latvia is a nice, fun song, would have preferred that to get through over the other cake song, Cheesecake.

Also thought that Portugal and Hungary were allright.

    Second semi-final

Norway i liked, it's a beautiful song with good lyrics but it isn't very memorable, even I forgot about it when I was going over the songs i like in my head :naughty:

Georgia: thats another of my favourites this year, I think this song is amazing! it's very different and a bit chaotic so I didn't expect it to get through, i wish it had though. Also it reminds me a bit of Mika's cover of Satellite, so that may be the reason why i like it so much. In case you missed it, I think you should check it out, I really recommend it :thumb_yello:

I thought Finland and Ireland are quite allright aswell, but it might be cause I always have a soft spot for Ireland :teehee:

Switzerland: I quite liked this song, I think it has a similar kind of fun-factor that Latvia has.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO0WuC8hpQg

And finally, Slovenia, I think its a nice song and I appreciate that she is writing her own songs (or I heard that somewhere)

I'll throw that vid in here as well:

  5. So, the countries that will be in the final are:

    Armenia- Not Alone

    Switzerland- Hunter Of Stars

    Azerbaijan-Start a Fire

    Slovenia- Round And Round

    Denmark- Cliché Love Song

    Poland- Slavic Girls

    France- Moustache

    Romania- Miracle

    Germany- Is It Right

    Norway- Silent Storm

    Hungary- Running

    Greece- Rise Up

    Iceland- No Prejudice

    Malta- Coming Home

    Italy- La mia città

    Belarus- Cheesecake

    Montenegro- Moj svijet

    Finland- Something Better

    Russia- Shine

    Austria- Rise Like A Phoenix

    San Marino- Maybe

    Spain- Dancing in the Rain

    Sweden- Undo

thanks for making the list :thumb_yello:

    I'm in seat: V 15

  7. My biggest concern was how to dress over there too... and stay cute :pinkbow:

It gets lowest 45 degrees over here in winter, so I'm in for a surprise.

I pretty much only wear spring dresses and flatform shoes.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. I assume it's required that you go there dressed a bit fancy but I think that'll be hard unless you'll be freezing!

but I'm used to just going out dressed however i like here, just throw on a coat and it's fine :teehee:

Sneakers and high heel boots can be fine if sidewalks are dry and you're not doing too much sightseeing. But winter boots are a must the minute snow is coming or the weather is very cold.

As for Quartier Latin, it is more animated (lots of homeless and prostitutes) you'll find accomodation that are not really recommandable, but otherwise it could be interesting.

Ok, thank you. :thumb_yello: I think I will look for something else then.

  8. Thank you everybody for the info!

I thought I had posted in this thread before but when I tried to last time my internet decided to stop working :sneaky2:. So here it goes, hope it will work this time.

These have been fashionable for the past few years and very practical.

    sorel-winter-boots.jpg

Also thank heaven that these parkas are a big fashion too because we really need them. :aah:

    emma-stone-Canada-Goose-fur-trimmed-Mystique-Parka.jpg

I have sneakers and high healed boots...so you're saying that that's not enough?:naughty:

I think I might need to go shopping soon :teehee:

I found this about Maison Symphonique, there are nice pics:thumb_yello:

    http://www.osm.ca/en/discover-osm/hall

wow nice pics and it looks huge!

Just a thought, do any of you know what it would be like to stay in the latin quarter? I saw somewhere that it was a shadier part of town but have otherwise heard that Montreal is a safe place.

  9. Hahah, there was absolutely no need to queue at all for this show but it was bit late to do sightseeing during the afternoon and we were just SO excited about everything (especially the place) that we wanted to spend a few hours together chatting and enjoying. Even the venue was so special with windows and view! I think we all three want to go back there again and again, I haven't done it yet but I keep thinking about it all the time :wub2:

thats good that you could have some fun there at least :) and I hope you will :wink2:

If you are coming from Europe and trying to economize I would recommend looking at getting a cheap local flight to London and then booking your transatlantic flight from London. Because it's Montreal Paris may also be a good hub. There are charters from London to Canada that are often 30% less than a scheduled airline like Air Canada or British Airways. Flight time selection is not the best, especially in winter, but otherwise I've found there's not a whole lot to justify the extra cost of regular airlines.

There is a charter company in the UK called Canadian Affair and I would recommend signing up for their newsletter and keeping an eye on flights and maybe even packages to Montreal. http://Http://canadianaffair.com/

Also I would recommend booking direct with Air Transat http://airtransat.com/. Flights from other cities might be a bit more expensive than flights from London but worth it to take a direct flight and save the hassle.

You don't need to book your flight now whichever airline you choose. You will get better pricing probably 3-6 months before February and in fact you probably can't even book charter flights right now because it's too early.

For Montreal I would recommend staying near Old Montreal rather than near the venue because that's where all the action is and you only need to be at the venue for a few hours during your whole trip since there is no queuing.

I won't be there but I hope you all have fun. :group_hug:

    Thank you so much :thumb_yello:

  10. Usually people queue (freeze) at a street in the middle of people and with luck sneak in to buy coffee and use toilets nearby, um, 5-30 minutes away :aah: In Reykjavik we could just stay inside that unique, huge building with cafes, shops, toilets (yes, luxurious toilets :naughty:) and absolutely AMAZING view through giant windows :wub2: Will never forget Reykjavik and how beautiful it was, the most beautiful place I've ever been to.

I have never experienced that but have heard a lot of stories about it :teehee:

It makes me so happy to see you say that, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much :thumb_yello: but I gues I should feel a little bad for just walking in there last minute and didn't have to wait at all :naughty:

  11. I got that once, I assume it was because someone already selected those seats ahead of me by a couple seconds :naughty:

Anyway, I hope you got some tickets though :huglove::hug:

I got one, thank you!

Yes! We'll feel downright spoiled -- sort of like when we were at Harpa in Iceland, Nina! :naughty:

Someone will need to tell Mr. Mika that. :dance_man:

it would have been great to have met you there :wink2:

That was a luxurious private queueing with an amazing view :wub2:

    :

Oh so that was unusual? :naughty:

  12.
Yes I will... But did the presale only had the 50 front row seats or like it was the whole stadium? I'll catch the general sale... Because I don't have enough money to sit in front...
you can buy it now if you want :thumb_yello: and not only the first row. Here's the link Alice posted: http://orchestresymphoniquedemontral...A555EB6E97B45B

  13. have these lyrics Hia Leah from Philadelphia (thanks to Lemontine) been posted here yet?

:wub2: so happy i got to see this song live

I really hope this song is on the new album, i'm dying to know what the lyrics for the section he kept changing will be

    lucky you :thumb_yello:

I hope so too, I didn't like it as much when I heard it for the first time, but it's very sweet and I love it now :wub2:
