  1. I wish it's going to be EXACTLY 1 week before, as I'll be able to be on my computer, no school next Monday. :naughty:

yes it's good to be well prepared and be ready when they start selling the tickets, so I hope they will for your sake :thumb_yello:

so if I would actually be able to go I need to find out a bit more about a few things first, how I could get the under 30 smth tickets, do I need to sign up? I dont even know in what prize range tix i can get but I'd like to sit at a good place and I would also prefer to be close to some MFCers I know rather than just random people :naughty:

  2. Awwww ... standing in a layer of fresh snow while your toes slowly start to freeze, the sense of fresh rain dripping through your carefully styled hair and the strong wind that literally takes your breath away ... how can you not love that. :wub2:

    :mf_rosetinted:

The things we do for Mika. :naughty:

    aaahh how lovely!

    :lmfao:

  3. I didn't know there was a Shakire thread here. I Dont usually post in threads about other artists but I'm gonna make an exception now :teehee:

I've loved her music since I was very young, though I don't like the new stuff as much as her older music. Empire is very different but I think i like it.

  4. If i can afford the plane ticket, i will go. Just need to start saving money, and sell some stuff, too.

yeah same here, but I dont even have a job yet and I would have to get one before the end of april, which is not very likely :naughty: so me going to Montréal next year depends on something happening in a few weeks.

also it would be better to know if there are gonna be any gigs or festivals this summer cause I'm sure i wouldn't be able to do both.

  5. Welcome to the MFC! :thumb_yello:

So many nice people here, you made me want to introduce myself. I'm an extremely introvert person and it just got me a while :thumb_yello:

Forgive my awkward English, I am not a native English speaker :mikasweat: X

I'm like that too but this place made me feel right at home and the people made me want to get to know them better, so I'm glad you decided to start posting here :wink2:

and your English is fine to me :)

  6. Elle Me Dit VS Emily

Popular Song (ft. Ariana Grande) VS Popular Song (ft. Priscilla Renea)

Origin Of Love VS Origin Of Love (New Version)

    Stardust VS Stardust (ft. Chiara)

Make You Happy (LA edit) VS Make You Happy (Miami edit)

L'Amour Dans Le Mauvais Temps VS Blame It On The Weather - I haven't really heard Blame It On The Weather but have listened to L'Amour...a few times.

In general: CD-vesion VS Acoustic/Live - I tend do like acoustic more but really it just depends.

I forgot one: Overrated (Studio Outtakes) VS Overrated (TOOL) -I believe i like them equally, havent listened to the studio outtakes much though.

  7. It's the water that is weird. It should be [ˈwɔːtə], like 'war' [wɔː®] but the 'r' is very soft.

In the song, his 'a' is like in 'dad' [dæd] or 'bad' [bæd]

Golden seems ok to me :teehee: He just put the emphasis on the word.

This is an interesting discussion, I have been learning phonetics but can't say I really understand it all yet :naughty: but still, I know what you mean here but haven't really noticed it myself, at least it doesn't bother me. :wink2: I should listen more carefully next time.

  8. The official schedule is coming next week so I guess we'll know more about when the tickets will be released. According to the website, they can be bought online (French or English) or by phone. :thumb_yello:

I know it's a lil bit early but this is the prices (look for OSM Pop, the 5th one) for the tickets for 2013-2014 :

    http://www.osm.ca/en/information-and-pricing/single-concert-tickets/ticket-rates

I guess it'll be approx. the same thing for 2014-2015 :wink2:

Am I already excited ??? Yes! :boing:

Thank you for this Alie :huglove:

I'm getting so excited just from reading about this. I'm really hoping on being able to go, and i've almost started believing i can :teehee: but I know thats very unlikely

  9. thank you! :) really? I think that was the best moment of my life, as I was singing on stage with the choir!! *-*

are you from Iceland? I'm crazy in love with that country!!! :wub2:

Yes, I am, and thank you, I'm so glad to see that

and I can easily believe it was, it mustve been amazing! I kind of regret not having tried out for it too :teehee:

  10. I love reading tour dreams here! I usually never have dreams with Mika in them, and if I do, he's just in the background somewhere and they're not long enough or interesting enough to be posted here. I had one a few weeks ago that I thought I might post here.

So, it was that sort of dream where it feels like youre watching a movie, in the outside of it looking in somehow. it began in a housewarming party at Mika's new place, it was at a street corner, it looked kinda like an old fashioned store, I only knew it was somewhere in America. Nothing much happend in that housewarming party, there were mostly girls there and then someone and Mika went out on the balcony but then someone said that it wasnt very safe and they went back inside, and the scene changed and Mika and I think his bf, were adopting a girl and she was called Mika too. Then i was suddenly at a coffeehouse but it looked like my basement and there was a waitress there who looked like Mila Kunis, she was told that Mika wanted to talk to her, it looked like they were friends, that knew each other well, after they had talked a while Mika said he wanted to kiss her, and then he did :teehee: then I woke up

  11. Today is a year since i went to my first Mika gig, and thats also the reason i came here to MFC, only because of some weird urge, I felt myself compelled to go there and eventually managed to find a ticket when it was sold out! i wasn't even sure I would be going untill the day before and I'm so glad that i did cause it really was an incredible night for me, I never wanted it to end but it went by way to fast! I wish i could have met the MFCers who were there and Mika.

I loved reading through this thread and seeing how many of you like Iceland and want to come here :) but also made me regret not having stayed behind a bit more, I really felt like i shouldn't leave yet, I literally had to pull myself out the door :naughty: even though it wouldn't have been likely that I could have met him, thats also what I told myself that of course there was no way, i still should have liked to try and see were it would have led me.

But hopefully I will be able to go see many more gigs and meet MFCers in the future :)

  12. After the Net.hunt competition I was already proud of my team, but now I'm even more proud.

We won the Swatch Net.hunt story competition! :hi5:

Edit: Link to the story itself http://www.swatch.com/net.hunt/news-beats/In-A-Blink-Of-An-Eye-s-net.hunt-story

Congratulations! great story and the drawing is amazing and Mika-ish :mf_rosetinted:

I didn't actually know about this illustration comp.

What Swatch didn't really explain was that Nicky made a red clue (to look like one of Swatch's own) that lead them to our story which Lena hid in one of her posts on page 30 of this thread.

That's brilliant! you deserved to win it :thumb_yello:
