  1. Only time will tell. I'd like him NOT to make new music if he doesn't feel like to, or hasn't found the right inspiration. I don't need new music just for the sake of it. Nonetheless, I hope he'll find the inspiration to make something artistically valuable...not only ads for cash. Or talent shows. Kachinga was fun only in GK!

you're absolutely right! I would like the album to be released as soon as possible but I also don't want it to be not so good as it could be with just a little more time, so maybe I prefer to wait. In fact yesterday he said it took him one and a half year to prepare Underwater which is one of his best songs! and I agree with the "ad" topic as well.

feel still so emotional after watching what happened last night. Can't even imagine how special this is for you Italian fans. Somehow I was really touched by what happened in the show, by the contact between Mika and Dario Fo and by emotions I could read from his face when he was talking or watching the X Factor clips and it all reminded me of what kind of intelligent, understanding person he is and I'm so happy to see he can finally show that to the whole world (first to Italy, soon France and hopefully to everywhere).

I hope other countries will have the chance to have this kind of interviews, because it shows how he really is and it's something you can't easily forget :wub2:

  2. I can't believe what I've seen! Wonderful!

For me it is incredibile that a column of the Italian culture as Dario Fo, a nobel prize for literature, knows Mika and his songs and declares of being his fan.

And is also incredibile that Mika knows Dario Fo, his wife Franca Rame and their work, so difficult to understand for a foreigner because it's often in dialect. Mika, another time, has shown his intelligence, his culture and his deep respect for the country in which is. And his great sensibility, in his eyes and in the way he was watching the old Dario.

Franco who sings The Origin of Love!

And Mika who sings in the dialect spoken in Milan, "Ho visto un re"( I've seen a king), the most famous and original song of Dario.

For an italian this will remain an unforgettable moment. Believe in me

I can't add anything else, I agree with everything you said. It was a magical moment, I'm speechless

  3. I think it's better than the Sky/Fastweb ad, he doesn't look that stupid in this one (can I say? sorry...) and there is Stardust in background... and I agree with you, please Mika, come back to music ;)

I totally agree, in the beginning that ad was funny but then I realized he looks a bit ridiculous and now I feel a little embarassed when I watch it. This one is good, but I have the feeling he has nothing to do with the ad and he is there just to appear, I don't know how to explain it. I hope all this stuff will lead to something great about his music.

  4. I would like it with simple arrangements which highlight and don't cover his voice, not acoustic ones necessarily, maybe a mix of his previous albums. I really hope there will be Hia Leah, Century man and Ma Jeunesse, I love them! :wub2: and it would be great if he made 2 CDs and he put some of his unreleased songs!

  5. I prefer 100% "The voice" to XFactor.

I watched XF in UK & USA & never liked it. I've watched The Voice in USA & Quebec and liked the show's format. So i am interested in the France "The Voice"

And it's the first time i hear that Quebec French isn't french... it's like saying mexicans don't speak spanish or Americans don't speak English.

It may sound different, but it is still the same language

in my opinion for example, the Italian version of The Voice is much worse than the French one which I've really liked it! so for what concerns my country I totally prefer X Factor than The Voice, but actually if I had to compare the French The Voice and XF Italy, I would be uncertain. I've seen all the seasons of XF Italy and only one episode of The Voice France so I want to wait before giving a precise opinion :wink2:

Garou's French sounds difficult to understand also for me :aah:, but it's because at school I've always listened to French from France

  8. I'm Italian, i detest Stardust with Chiara, I don't like how Mika is managing his career even if he needs to find money. I'm desperate for new music and I don't like all his side projects. I will accept them only when I actually see and listen to new music. But I still love him...because I do, and I cannot forget 7 years of reciprocal love and affection. So in the meantime I feel as Christine and many others feel....thus not being in opposition to the Italians (or French) but waiting deluded in a corner.

Believe me....what we lived and hoped in 2007 and later was totally different from what we are experiencing in the last two years. We simply cannot be happy with the smell when we actually had a roast under our teeth. They just took it off before we could taste it in full.

And having less economical means does not necessarily leads to lower one's standards so much.

I partially agree with you, I mean, it was ok when he wanted to try something else such as X Factor but I think he shouldn't follow that path even though it could be very advantageous economically speaking.

I totally agree with your last sentence! :emot-sad:
