  1. But once you're in before your husband, your husband can't get in anymore.

Do you really think they wouldn't let him in with his passport?! They seem to be stubborn, but I hope they won't go so far... Anyway I probably will know only at the entrance what is allowed or not... Of course, everybody, please don't hesitate to share anything you would learn on the question before Thursday...

  2. Got in touch with Mobistar today. ID's will indeed be checked at the entrance. However, to allow let's say grandmothers to offer their tickets to their grand-children, they will accept people if they come with the (original) ID of the winner. May it can help Claire? (Let's say if your husband can travel with his passport and you have the ID with you... But that means sending the ID by post which may not be the best idea...)

Yes!!!It helps a lot! This is a brilliant idea: he will travel with his passport and I will keep his ID card.:thumb_yello: Thanks to you I will have a chance to get a good place! :huglove:

  3. I played 12 times, one answer 33500 and didn't win

Strange, indeed! I played only once... I am really wondering now, why this happened to me!?

Mobistar confirmed me today that the people who won has to show their id-card at the entrance. So in fact it is impossible to receive/purchase tickets from people who can't attend :aah:

How could you reach Mobistar to get an answer about the ID-Card? I contacted them on Twitter, to know if I could enter alone before my husband (who actually won) arrives, but their answer doesn't satisfy me. I called their hotline too, but the guy on the phone didn't even know about the gig!!!

For those who are really motivated, don't you think there will be persons coming alone, that would accept you as a guest? Place an ad on Twitter could be a solution...

  4. I haven't seen this venue in real life but I googled pictures and it looks like a nice venue with lots of balconies etc so maybe it's possible to have a good view even if you arrive late, I assume most people will arrive last minute any way (most of them are regular mobistar customers and not fans). Looking forward to your report!

Yes, it seems to be a nice venue, "the best in Bruxelles" in the opinion of many people. It is not too big, the accoustic is one of the best, and the singer is close to the crowd... Can't wait!

  5. Really really sorry for everybody who didn't win and for those who even didn't get any answer... It would also have been much more fun for me to be part of group of MFCers.

Anyway, I will try to make the best report that I can, but I am afraid I won't have a good place! I managed to book a flight which arrives in the afternoon, so that's OK, but my husband's flight, on business trip in Bristol, will be arriving at the airport at 19.45! (The gig begins at 21.00 and doors open at 19.00.) As the invitation is on his name, I will HAVE TO wait for him at the entrance (confirmed by Mobistar today). Sounds ridiculous! Maybe I should insist...

  6. Yeah I did the same and I honestly believed the amount will be something between 2000-5000 (based on some other competitions and even more popular artist). On the other hand, maybe 1000 tickets was simply so tempting a lot of regular people entered just to win "something".

My calculation was: I read there where about 4,5 millions Mobistar customers in Belgium. Let's imagine that 1% of them would attemp to win. The result would have been 45000. As I thought it was a very high number, I decided to finaly answer 30000. Indeed, it is a lot, but as I am not living in Belgium, I could not know what kind of advertising would be done for the event...

Anyway, please don't leave me alone! I cannot imagine that no other MFCer made it! Please!!!

  7. There's always a way to naturally explain these issues to kids. Sex is a healthy, happy thing in an adult relationship. Children who are too young to understand don't much ask questions but when they start to ask questions they deserve answers. The younger the kid, the more simple (but still true) answers.

I've always told whatever my kids want to know. My youngest was probably 5 when he wanted to now how gay couples can have children so I explained different options and he was happy with my answer. It's a bit embarrassing if a 3 yo sings boum boum boum, of course :blush-anim-cl: My youngest is now 10 and he learns French at school but the lyrics are still too difficult for him so I will shortly explain him that it's about making love (something like Lena just mentioned).

Thanks everybody for giving your advice on the subject sex and kids! I agree with you: it is not so difficult to take it in a natural way, and my children already know what they should know about it in that sense. My only problem with BBB is that making love is described as obsessional, like a drive he has anytime and anywhere! But anyway, I will manage! And there are, of course, things that are far more difficult to explain to children than love!

  8. There are several differences between vulgarity and funny lyrics. No rude word neither trashy phrases. It's a little bit like when you're with friends and speaking, joking about making love :wink2: Boum boum boum is funny, fresh and free.

Hi Lena, in a way I agree with you. But what about the kids? I 'd like to sing the song and listen to it with with my 3 children (5, 8 and 10). Sure they would love it, like all other Mika's songs, but not sure I'd like to explain the lyrics! This time, I would have preferred it to be in English!!! So my décision is now not to listen to it with them... until we hear it on the radio and cannot avoid it! Everybody, has some of your kids already listened to it? What was their/your reaction?

  9. Thanks for your reports Melanie and Lena :original: It's always nice to see it a little bit from the live viewer perspective :thumb_yello:

Thanks Lena too! Wishing I could have been with you, girls!

Now about next show, I won 2 places that I won't be able to use. (I had once again the idea to make a short trip to Paris, but as usual it won't be possible.) I keep one for Camille, and the second one is still available. But my quesion is (Mélanie, my dear, help! :wink2:): is it possible to transfer the place as I read that they control the ID card at the entrance? (To tThose who where there, do you confirm?)

  10. Thanks, Melanie! I was sure you would prepare a nice report, as always! :huglove:I haven't watched the replay yet, but seeing some pictures on Twitter, it seems indeed that you were very close to the stage and to Mika! Well done! Now your feet have some days to rest after this exhausting night! Have you planned to attend all lives untill the final?

  12. Hi Claire :)

I'm sorry you couldn't come... Well to be honest I haven't got much to report about. It is much more about the competition than about watching Mika being his funny self now :teehee: Mika did notice us though :thumb_yello:

As Mélanie said we were lucky to hear Mika sing once more with the other coaches! Otherwise now we know who will sing live in Garou's and Mika's teams but I don't think we should post this here.

We waited for Mika at the end in the cold for a very long time (we were starting to realise how crazy we were) and he finally went off in his van without stopping. Florent Pagny who was the last one to leave told us they were having a party for the end of the recordings (which we already knew) and they were not in the best state to stop and have a chat :mf_rosetinted:

I don't think this will be live. They will play songs he likes throughout the morning.

Thank you, Camille and Mélanie, for your reports! :huglove: Of course, I would have loved to be with you for the last recording, but at the end, I don't miss the long waiting in the cold to discuss with Florent Pagny!:wink2: In any case, last night must have had a special flavour to you, as it was the last of that kind ever... (considering that the ambiance of the live shows will probably be different). Last question: could you be seated like on last Saturday, were you again behind him?

  13. Saturday and yesterday were the last recordings, some 'battles' that are new to the show this year to choose the last contestants who will sing in live shows. Regarding The Voice Mika has no more commitments before the live shows begin I think. I've heard it should be in March/April.

The aftershow thing (I'll call it this way because I'm not sure 'aftershow show' makes sense :teehee:) will be aired every week. That's partly why the recordings were so long. They would always finish recording with this part and that's generally when we would see Mika yawning more and more..

    Hello Camille,

how was the recording yesterday? I hoped to be there, but was obliged to cancel my trip on the day before. :-( So I would be interested to know what I missed... Thanks in advance!
