Se ha già fissato due concerti a febbraio del 2015 immagino che l'album debba essere già fuori per quella data

Mika is always talking about his relationship, he even mentioned what he does for a living and the fact that he used to be a fan. The idea that Mika is so secretive about his life is false. We know all about his family and many of his friends so keeping a boyfriend a total mystery for 7 years from fans who've been following all that time would have been virtually impossible. The only thing that was a mystery to me was whether they were still together and how serious it was, etc. But Mika came out in 2012 and told the whole world that they were still together and still in love.

 

Anyway I hope whatever fallout they may have to deal with in their lives because of these pap pictures blows over quickly and it gives them some freedom in the end. I can understand any celeb wanting enough privacy that all the salacious details of their private life are not splashed over the front pages of tabloids day in and day out, but one shouldn't have to live in total secrecy.

I haven't seen the pictures, but hope they are no accident and there are no fallouts on their relationship.

And I totally agree with you on the difference between privacy and (forced) secrecy

Perchè mai aspettare? Scegliamo un artista che faccia più concerti (che so... Albano? ) e incontriamoci lo stesso: siamo donne indipendenti, un'occasione ce la creiamo anche da sole!

A parte gli scherzi: in qualche concerto estivo ci ho sperato fino all'ultimo, e mi pareva che per lui sarebbe stato un ottimo investimento in Italia, ma pazienza. Diciamo che in questo momento da un punto di vista economico mi va bene anche così, ma se ci fosse stata una buona occasione uno sforzo l'avrei fatto volentieri. Spero solo che qualche concerto ci sia prima che le mie nipoti per portarmi debbano spingere la mia sedia a rotelle.

Io penso solo che "la colpa" non è certo di XF.

 

L'album non lo avrebbe finito prima comunque. E neppure avrebbe fatto concerti. E' evidente, si vuole prendere il suo tempo.

Il perchè non lo so, forse ha bisogno di fare altre cose, cerca nuova ispirazione artistica, cerca nuovo pubblico, vuole prendersela piu' con calma e godersi la vita, vuole fare le cose in modo diverso o forse non vuole finire schiacciato dalla macchina del disco-promozione-tour-disco-promozione-tour-disco-promozione-tour.

I motivi veri noi non li sappiamo, ma devono essere profondi o comunque personali...e secondo me vanno rispettati.

 

In ogni caso XF centra davvero relativamente, secondo me. Lo vuole fare, gli piace, lo pagano tanto, si diverte, si sente intellettualmente ed artisticamente stimolato, ama la nostra lingua, l'arte e la cultura, sta bene qui, mangia bene, incontra gente tipo Dario Fo...insomma, sta come un pascià. Bisogna farsene una ragione.

Lo ha detto lui al Corriere della Sera: "l'Italia è un'esperienza e una scoperta culturale. E' come una nuova porta aperta, anche per la mia carriera. "

Io sinceramente ne sono contenta, e anche un po' lusingata. Mika è un uomo che al di là di tutto ha vissuto e ha girato il mondo. Si vede che qualcosa di buono in questo assurdo paese lo abbiamo ancora.

 

In fondo, è un programma dignitoso.

Non ci perde niente a farlo, l'anno scorso ne ha avuto solo cose belle.

Il resto, spetta a lui, non è mica stupido.

Nessuno di noi sa davvero perchè quest'estate non ci saranno concerti o perchè il disco sia stato un po' posticipato o perchè Mika faccia una nuova stagione di X Factor. Io personalmente mi sono affezionata a lui quando le parole "X FACTOR" abbinate tra loro gli facevano venire l'orticaria, e ho sempre apprezzato la sua onestà nell'affermarlo, immagino anche perché le mie opinioni erano piuttosto simili.

Poi l'anno scorso ho capito che la sua scelta gli stava dando un ottimo ritorno in termini di fama e di stima da parte del pubblico, almeno qui in Italia, e ho creduto che alla fine avesse fatto la scelta giusta (almeno fino a quando non si è messo a fare quei maledetti spot che rischiano di mandare in crisi il mio matrimonio! ).

Però in tutta onestà mi sento di dire che tutti presto o tardi abbiamo pensato, magari guardando altri giudici di altri show, che un artista affermato e in una buona posizione di mercato non va a fare il giudice in TV, al massimo va a fare l'ospite in giuria per una o due puntate.

Quindi gli do atto di aver avuto un gran coraggio, nel momento in cui il disco non è andato bene, ad accettare la sfida di imparare una nuova lingua, riprendere in mano la sua carriera ed anche rischiare di perdere una parte dei fan di vecchia data, però se non riprende a fare ANCHE il musicista (con concerti o nuovi lavori in studio) la sua reputazione sul piano artistico potrebbe uscirne pregiudicata, fare la TV non è la prima scelta di un cantante, farla in Italia per un artista internazionale è un po' strano, farla con Ventura e Morgan....

Poi io continuo a pensare che lui sia una persona straordinaria, e che appena ne ha l'occasione dimostri appieno il suo talento: diciamo pure che non mi sentirei di voltargli le spalle perchè fa un altro X Factor

A volte mi sembra di intuire che la sua vita personale richieda ritmi e scelte diverse rispetto a qualche anno fa, e questo lo capisco perfettamente: per me se decidesse che l'Italia gli basta andrebbe benissimo, perché alla fine la cosa più importante è che lui come persona sia sereno (possibilmente felice), diversamente non ne trarrebbero vantaggio i fan nè italiani nè stranieri.

In fin dei conti a fare questa scelta non sarebbe certo il primo (come appassionata di danza penso a Heather Parisi o a Steve La Chanche), dei motivi ci saranno...

Aver acquistato qualche disco non mi dà il diritto di giudicare le sue scelte nè tanto meno la sua persona, ma penso che tra di noi possiamo affrontare una discussione costruttiva e non dogmatica: Le nostre differenze di opinione sono una ricchezza :group_hug:e danno la possibilità ai fan stranieri che si sono uniti a questo thread di imparare meglio la nostra lingua!

Some people don't love the idea of Mika doing a TV show. When I started to read a bit about Dario Fo (only after Mika met him ), I could find some of his books in my local library in France, translated, but the one that seemed to be the most famous was "accidental death of an anarchist" so maybe abroad he is more famous for this play than for other writings?

I think that usually "Mistero buffo" is considered Fo masterpiece and the past Fo himself user to play it in French, anyway it may be that accidental death of an anarchist is his mostra famous play abroad

I'm pleased I could give my little contribution, I won't quote all your replies, anyway what's sure it that those were difficult times and I think we (including me, because I wasn't born at the time) can hardly imagine the pressure and the fear felt by Italian people in everyday life.

Innocent people died and whole families were completely destroyed, Pinelli has two daughters and Calabresi also had two blittle boys (and a third one on the way when he was killed), and this goes far beyond politics.

It's kinda sad, anyway, that students abroad know Dario Fo while in Italy schools simply ignore him: like it or lump it, he won a Nobel prize!

What I still remarkable is that Mika's teacher choose to study "Accidental death of an anarchist" and not other plays, more famous and lacking of strong political consequences, but maybe distance is exactly what we need in order to give a plain judgement on such a deep script.

Last thing, for Italian people who are eager to see "Morte accidentale di un anarchico": do you know that in the DVD one of the policemen is Claudio Bisio?

On December the 12th 1969 a bomb exploded in Milan, causing the death of 17 persons. The police asked to a man called Giuseppe Pinelli, known as an anarchist, to go to the police place to be interrogated and kept him there for a few days without permission. He was completely innocent and finally died falling from a window. Subsequently the policemen stated that Pinelli threw himself out of the window committing suicide, while a large part of public opinion thought that Pinelli was tortured and accidentally fell during a "non-orthodox" interrogation.

The play "Accidental death of an anarchist" is about what happened in this police place, embracing the idea of abuse by police officers. One of these officers, Mr Luigi Calabresi, the highest in degree, was considered responsible of the death of Giuseppe Pinelli by some extremist political groups and murdered three years later.

In 1997 four people were judged resposible of the death of Mr Calabresi, and among these people were Adriano Sofri, who is Daria Bignardi's father-in-law (she is married to his son Luca, a journalist).

Adriano Sofri is widely considered a sensitive intellectual, he has always claimed his innocence and he obtained the support of many intellectuals, politicians and journalists.

I think Daria believes as well that her father-in-law is innocent and appreciated Mika's interest in this old and tragic Italian fact (even if i'm not sure of Mika's full awareness about the political depth of Fo's play) and wanted to acknowledge his deep interest in Italian culture and history.

Obviously this is only a summary and I tried to be as objective as possible, and just for the record Luca Sofri mentioned "TOOL" as one of the best songs of the year back in 2012 in his Vanity Fair column so I think Daria already knew about Mika before the whole X Factor thing

Same for me but I found him quite fascinating too. And funny and quite cute. Then I read wikipedia () and discovered how interesting he was. And I finally read "accidental death of an anarchist" (or something like that, not sure of the translation), that confirms that he is interesting.

As one of you said, we know that Mika loves him, so I'm especially happy for him to be able to do a collaboration with someone he loves (I imagine how happy I would be to do a collaboration with Mika )

I eventually had the chance to see Dario Fo live last January after he cancelled a show in my hometown last year, and I can confirm that he is an amazing actor and a funny, fascinating, cute old man.

Honestly I was quite suprised when I read Mika's XL column a few years ago, 'cause I think most of Italian singers of his age barely know who Dario Fo is.

Probably Daria Bignardi (the host of "Invasioni barbariche") was pretty surprised by Mika's knowledge as well, and I think she worked hard to arrange the meeting of the two also because of personal reasons concerning her husband's family (as you probably know the play "Morte accidentale di un anarchico" is based on real facts, in case someone of you is interested I'll try to explain the connection between the play and Daria's father in law)

 

I don't know, he's pretty old. Mika could travel a way easier than him.

Raya, la cucina italiana è piena di ricette popolari: ogni regione ha le sue, dalle mie parti in questa stagione si cucinano asparagi con le uova oppure "risi e bisi" (riso con i piselli, ovviamente senza pollo ), altrimenti un'altra cosa facile sono i biscotti "zaeti", fatti con la farina di mais

Sono cose abbastanza semplici ed anche economiche, se pensi che ti possa interessare e che gli ingredienti si possano trovare facilmente fatti sentire!

Ho anche un'altra domanda. So che non c'è una risposta chiara, è una domando piuttosto teoretica, ma ho pensato qualche volta su questo. Non è molto complicato e duro per un transessuale parlare l'italiano? E molto di più complicato per un intersessuale? Perché spesso io non posso parlare di me senza usare una desinenza maschile o femminile in italiano. Suppongo che un transessuale "out" usa la desinenza che concorda con il suo sesso interno? Ma facendo questo lui "dice" più o meno a chiunque che lui è transessuale, se lui vuole o non vuole. E quando lui non è ancora "out" è più duro per lui che nelle altre lingue, no? E questo fa un intersessuale?

La tua domanda è molto interessante, in realtà credo che vista "dall'interno" la questione sia meno complessa perché fin da subito pensiamo e parliamo usando il genere grammaticale creando un automatismo che direi equivale a quello che chiunque mette in atto (in qualunque lingua) scegliendo l'ausiliare dei verbi

Se posso osare un piccolo suggerimento, chiedi alle persone di "darsi del tu", così potrai chiamare gli altri per nome senza usare il termine signore/signora e viceversa!

La petizione possiamo anche provare a farla, al massimo non raccogliamo le firme ma non abbiamo molto da rimetterci, però penso che i canali appropriati siano più professionali (almeno per un artista come Mika e per una location come l'Arena di Verona!)

sono d'accordo con te, specialmente la pubblicità di Sky/Fastweb non mi è piaciuta perchè sembra abbastanza un pagliaccio, chi già lo conosce sa che è (soprattutto!) un artista con tutt'altre qualità, ma per il resto del pubblico non è così, si riduce a "ah si Mika, quello che ha fatto Xfactor e che fa lo spot di Sky con la camicia a cuori dove dice "ho choosato"!" per cui diciamo che non è il massimo.... trovo già migliori gli spot per la 3, anche se continuo a pensare che gli spot veramente ben fatti siano altri, e raramente quelli che ospitano personaggi famosi, personalmente ammiro molto gli spot "motivazionali" della P&G, o Adidas, o Nike, fatti magari in occasione di eventi sportivi

a parte questo piccolo OT, oramai è fatta, non è la fine del mondo, e spero che sia una "parentesi" commerciale che presto finirà, e lui torni a fare principalmente musica,che è sicuramente più interessante

Forse, a parte il fatto che magari per la mentalità americana fare gli spot non è così degradante, gioca un ruolo anche il fatto che adesso Mika sia in Italia e non veda il suo bel faccino irrompere nel telegiornale mentre si parla delle vicende russe o ucraine: se fosse qui si renderebbe conto un po' meglio di quello che sta facendo, anche in considerazione di uno suo tweet di qualche settimana fa.

Invece ho notato che Crozza lo nomina abbastanza spesso, spero sia il segno che l'Italia si è veramente affezionata a lui, nonostante lo "scivolone" degli spot...
