this interview talks about the album (thanks Lena Machu)...can you please try and translate it in English, Elwendin's team?

 

My French isn't that good that I can translate the whole thing but (I think) he says that the album is coming out next year.. ça sort l'année prochaine, au debut de l'année prochaine. When asked if it's in English or in French he says English, with a few tracks in French. He wrote it on the piano but it's very pop, very melodic. He also says there are co-writers but no featuring artists. His ambition is to have only ten songs, maybe 11 on the album.

Not sure if there is any proper gig report thread or if it's even needed as the gig was streamed? So happy to see it again, thanks for recording it!!! I just came so home I haven't downloaded it yet but will watch it again soon.

 

This was such a great gig!!! His singing/performing was on a different level than it was in Napoli indeed. He sounded so incredibly good (even though he skipped higher parts) and especially had energy and good mood that I haven't seen for a long time. Didn't expect so many new things and lovely piano intros or Toy Boy as a beginning

 

I was too close to take photos (had only my big camera with me) so I took only a few of them, sorry! I was probably fangurling too much to be even able to film anything. Very embarrassing

 

People working for Mobistar were really nice, didn't expect that either. The signing session was better organized than any session I've seen and everything went well at the gig (I was super stressed something will go wrong, I finally managed to find a ticket day before but the person who won wasn't there so I didn't know if they will actually let me in).

Nice report! Glad you were able to get in and had such a great time I was really surprised when he started with Toy Boy too, but in a very good way of course!

Do you guys have experience with what Mika means when he says "new music soon"? What's soon for him?

My stream worked fine but now it just keeps freezing.. And the HD option has disappeared! Well it looked like a great concert He's wearing a pink suit, I like it very much!

I think/hope(!) (as said later in this thread) that the headphones are unplugged, to protect the baby's ears from the noise in the studio! At open festivals you see babies with headphones too, for that reason.

I'm new here so I'd like to introduce myself I'm a 20 year old girl from the Netherlands and I discovered this site a few days ago!

I'd heard Mika songs when they came out (Grace Kelly was on the radio here a lot and I remember liking the We Are Golden music video on mtv haha) but unfortunately I never really listened to him or appreciated his voice. Thankfully that has changed! Mika makes music that makes me so happy, but on the other hand his music has extremely interesting lyrics that cause me philosophize, which is what I like to do in life

I think he's very talented and um obviously very good-looking..
