    I actually wish that when Mika performs on his radio show, he could perform his own songs. If he sang NPIH he would blow everyone away. The problem, for me, with some of Mika's covers, is that he doesn't adhere to the wise saying "Less is more". He messes around with them too much and feels he has to go high, even when there is no need. Also, sometimes, I have to say this, he does actually come across a bit whiney. So the comments about that, are not wrong really.

    He has done some beautiful covers Let It Snow and Poker Face spring to my mind, but it would be better for him if he could promote his own work. No one can sing Mika's own songs like he can. 

     

    I agree with you that he definitely should play some of his own songs too! However, I don't feel like he does to much with the covers. I usually like them better than the originals ( but that might just be my mika-obsessed mind's opinion  :aah: ). And Mika plays his own songs at gig all the time, so I find it interesting to hear covers of other songs, and see what he does with them, just like I like hearing covers of Mika's songs. But, yeah, singing his own songs would definitely be good for his own promotion, especially in the UK.  :dunno:

    I baked a new cake guys! Since it's still Easter here and apparantly so many things to Celebrate (see what I did there? :mf_rosetinted: ) I made one and some tea offcourse. :tea:

    Gooood,yes it does aha between college getting in my way and then forgetting to actually come here that's why ain't been around,when i get home i just decide to watch youtube or play skyrim or something

    Luckily i don't have any exams just alot of assignments and it feels like its all i ever have done.

     

    Oooh,but should tell her that there is still tickets for that if she's interested in going,i checked the other day and tickets still came up even tho someone told me it was sold out but ya :teehee:  It's them Fall out boy and now Wolf Alice,more are to be announced  

     

    I'm alright thank you =3 I've been to like 14 i think (im trying to remember who've all seen >< ) Mika was my first gig to go to tho when i was 13,i haven't seen him since then cos has decided to not bother with Scotland and it comes to way too much money to go down to London to see him (even tho i can't cos i am going to a gig on that day anyway but still )  Oh easy mistake to make ofc haha 

    Not too bad thanks you? Well i am getting my work done i have pretty muuch done most of it for one of the lecturers anyway,ive made friends at least ive already had an interview for another college and they gave me a conditional offer cos i need to pass this course first :P

     

    14!!!???  :shocked: omg, you are so freaking lucky! Hehhe, this will be my second  :teehee: but then, I live in norway, so traveling and fining somewhere to sleep etc etc, is super expensive, so I'm happy that I at least get to see him a few times :)

    How you doing? gratz on getting tickets to see Mika :) Sadly i won't be seeing him this year,I however got tickets on tuesday to see Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy  :teehee:

    Same here.  People think I'm shy and that I don't talk much but I'm chatty with people I know - people I actually WANT to talk to.  If I don't like someone, I won't talk to them much. :shun:

    But you guys understand me at least... :D

    Same.. I'm not that shy, but I'm not interested in getting to know EVERYONE. Like, some people are so interested in getting known by so many people... I would rather have closer friends XD But I also like meeting new people of course :)

    I hd to write 3 options for college. I wrote flute on number 1 (ofcourse :naughty: ) but if I fail admission exams I have to choose something else. On 2 place I wrote English and antropology/cultural ethnology..... and on 3 place I wrote music pedagogy :D We'll see where I'll get in :)

    Mika and Bob will be in great help :D
