    The UK Promotion Of Mika thread.

    This is an idea.

    I've read in the papers in the UK, that Nick Grimshaw has left X Factor UK and Simon Cowell is planning a re-vamp to get ratings.

    Does anyone agree that it might be a good idea for people from the UK, to tweet Simon, to ask him to get Mika onto the UK X Factor?

     

    Okay... I know the ratings haven't been good, but that could change if people could only see Mika.

    I know it's a reality talent show. But Mika has done well out of reality talent shows in other countries.

    If people from the UK, who have seen Mika in the show in Italy and know how good he is, tweet Simon Cowell (or get in touch some other way) it may just encourage him to realize that people do want Mika on the show.

    It's a long-shot, but what have we, and Mika, got to loose.

    WE just need him to be visible in the UK again.

     

    Our twitter keeps playing up and Alan is going to get on to them about it. When it's fixed I'm going to tweet

    We could have a hashtag. I can't think of anything snappy. Maybe someone could come up with something.

     

     

    Good idea! This might be like the "big chance" for him to get well known in UK again, and then hopefully that will influence other countries in Europe as well  :fisch: Should we plan a specific date, so that everyone tweets at the same time? Maybe then there will be a bigger chance of him noticing it....

    As for the hashtag, I don't have any good ideas myself.... maybe something simple, like #mikafactor, or something that also mentioned the UK  :mf_rosetinted:

    hi :D

    about beach holidays near Rome, there are a lot of places near the city, but they aren't the best beaches in Italy, I would say...if you want to spend just one or 2 days at the seaside, you can go there, there is a train which connects the city with the seaside area within about 1 hour or less  :)  but if you're planning to stay more days , you can explore some better places for example going in Tuscany, or in the southern part of Lazio, in the Circeo area  ;)

    Thank you! :) We have now looked at some nice places in Sperlonga or Santa Marinella :) We are considering spending 2 night's near the venue so that we won't have trouble getting home after etc. 

     

    I spent a nice beach holiday not too far from rome a few years ago. If you want, i can look up for you where it was.

    ooooh yes, i've always wanted to go on a religious pilgrimage!

     

     

     

    if it's for your religion don't they have to excuse you?  *doesn't know what the law in Norway is*

    oh, yeah, I probably do!!

     

     

    *puts on her pilgrim badge, packs up the cat, grabs her walking stick, and begins her sacred trek*

     

    that smilie makes me picture Mika on his balcony, staring at us while we all try to serenade him xD

     

    so glitter and stardust is covered, but who will bring the lollipops and cake and balloons and diet coke & pizza and other basically pointlessly delicious items? *is a worrier*

    *zips jacket, packs emergency supply of chocolate and grabs jetpack*

     

     

    Suuuure, then I will find something else we don't need and bring that instead..... Hmmm, what about... Mikactus?
