  1. I think i filmed it, but gotta look through my vids first to make sure. Not today, going to bed early to try and catch up on the sleep i missed this weekend. :aah: but it was sth like that he only had the chorus at first and wrote the verses very quickly in a few minutes, because he only had half an hour to finish and record the song. So he said the verses don't make any sense really. :naughty:

Actually i think some of the verses make very much sense - while now that he said it i agree that some others don't. :teehee: but the lines "if i pretend that nothing ever went wrong, i can get to my sleep, i can think that we just carried on" is something i've felt too after a breakup, so they certainly make sense.

Haha, Mika would make sense even if he was sleep-talking  :naughty:

  2. Imagine if Mika released an album comprised of all the songs that he hasn't already released, such as 'Only Lonely One' and 'How Much do You Love me?', I would definitely buy it, who else?

Also, please add to the list all of the unreleased songs you would like to see on the album  :boing:

Edit: Please don't post demos as Mika has personally said that he doesn't want them on the forum  :chair:

  3. Yeah, in that video of BBB Zel posted you can see me on stage. :naughty: It's embarrassing to see the video (tho nice to have a memory), but it was so much fun to be up there dancing with Mika. :fangurl: only after i got off stage, my knees were a bit weak. :naughty:

That last bit of Happy Ending a capella without a mic was just amazing. :wub2: i've been dreaming of this ever since i heard about him doing this on the US acoustic tour, and now i finally was able to experience it as well. :swoon:

And apparently he loved the crown i gave him for Promiseland, he kept putting it on his head for the rest of the gig. :naughty:

More (including pix&videos) when i'm home. Off to zurich now. ;)

The dancing looked amazing! I that was me I'd spend 5 minutes getting onto the stage and end up getting dragged off by the stage crew, an example:

  4. Omg I love your idea!!! :wub2::clap:

    Favourite song: Love Today

    Country: Germany (Bavaria)

Venue: My university campus. :naughty: Cos I only have half an hour to go there and it's like a big park so there could be an open air gig with many fans. :fangurl:

Hi! Thanks for taking part! Is it Ludwig Maximillian University you go to?  :fisch:

  5. If enough UK people respond to this thread, I hope Mika sees it and responds to us.

Favourite song: No Place In Heaven

Country: North West  England in the UK.

Venue Old Trafford Football Stadium. (it is used for concerts. Take That were there a few years ago.) It's Manchester United's home ground, and it's really close to my home. Only about 15 minutes away.

Thanks so much for taking part, and yes, if Mika did see it, it would be the most brilliant thing ever!  :naughty:

I live in the countryside so the closest thing to me (without seats) is a field xD

  6. Hello everyone! :)

My name is Léa and I'm 15 years old.

I'm French so my English is probably horrible... Sorry lol! :stifle:

All starts in 2014, when my music teacher make us singing "Happy Ending" at school. It was the revelation : I inquiered about Mika and I listened his songs, I was like "Oh my god this man is so talented and different!". I fell in love with his universe and I became a fan.

One year later, last saturday, I went to his gig for the first time in Paris... Who else was here? It was magical! The decors, the atmosphere, Mika... :fangurl:

I'm happy to be in the MFC with you :D

    Have a good day!

Ooh, we had to sing Happy Ending at school too, but only the beginning, we sung it as part of the 4 chord song  :naughty:

  7. Okay, so mine would be:

Favourite song: (I didn't really think of how difficult this would be xD)

How much do you Love me?

    Country:

    England (Up North)

    Venue:

    A field somewhere  :thumb_yello:

  8. I was thinking it would be cool if we all came up with a sort of tour list by each choosing your favorite Mika song (Yes, only one, I'm sorry don't hurt me and try to avoid choosing one that has already been chosen), your country and an awesome venue (can be as weird as you like) near you and together we can compile a song list and venue list - the dream tour!  I could put the dates down for each gig as well so if you can't make a real gig you can just pretend you're at one and dance insanely in your room (with a more-or-less reason for once)

This is just a bit of fun!

    C'est un peu de plaisir!

  9. I have insanely thick very dark brown hair which I recently cut to chin length - big mistake - Everywhere I go people say "woah why is your hair so big?!", unless I restrain it with about 70 hair slides.  I do straighten it sometimes but it only holds for a few minutes AND IT'S SUCH A PAIN GAHHH.  I'm sorry but I need help   :mf_rosetinted:

I will try to help out other people but as you can tell I have absolutely no hair knowledge so good luck guys  :thumb_yello:

  10. Hi everybody !

    Well I'am 19 and I'm from lyon :)

    I'm not a fan since 2007 but I wish I was :P

To be honest I've Never been a fan, I thought it was overatted somebody but maybe it was because I haven't found the person to be fan of... But this was before I heard on the radio "underwater" without knowing who was the one who sings this song (except knowing that I've heard it in some ad ^^) and then: I felt like I was meant to heard this song. This is when I started to be interessed in mika's work and by the time I get another revelation : more than an artist I found such a great human being.

Then I understood, being a fan isn't overrated someone, it's just founding a person that can make you happy without having to know each other.

Well this was my "how I became a fan" lol. However I'm so happy that I will see Mika performing in Lyon.

I hope I will met some of you there guys.

    Have a good night !

    Xoxo ♡

( ps : english isn't my first language but I hope it won't be too bad )

Salut! Je suis nouveau aussi! Mais j'habite a Englaterre.

I tried to do French because I don't know why I just felt like it.  I could never write in French as well as you write in English though, that's about the extent of what I know

    Anyway, WELCOMEEEEE!!  :naughty:

  11. Tbh i don't know if that makes much sense, since there's so many factors besides the arrival time. For example in paris they opened one of the 7 or 8 entrances 1-2 minutes before the others, so those who stood at this entrance had an advantage, but no one could've known this before. Or people who arrive 5mins before the doors open squeeze in last minute. It also depends on the country where the gig is, and of the amount and personal habits of fans who are travelling there. The size of the venue and the layout plays a role. For example in lokeren the crowd was divided by barriers in the center and the stage was so high that you could see better from further back. Some prefer places where they have the best view, others want to be as close as possible. Or there might be just some stupid security guy who doesn't like your face and stops you extra long for whatever reason.

I've mentioned in many of my gig reports about when i arrived and where i ended up - read them if you want, but i doubt you can set up any general rules from this info. :dunno:

Thank you for replying, I've never been to a concert or gig before so I really have no clue   :)

  12. Yeah, I think he will tour here someday, but he might be away doing his own things for a couple of years like he did after TBWKTM and TOOL. But actually in an interview I think he said something about in a years time seeing himself writing plays or something??

  13. Hi, welcome! :welcomeani:

That's a cool way to discover Mika, I love Harry Potter as well.  Where in the UK are you from?  I'm from Scotland and I can't go to the Adelphi gig either.  But you never know, maybe he will tour the UK again sometime in the future. :wink2:

I live in Yorkshire so not so far up as you  :wink2:  But didn't he say something about that there were some places he wanted to tour in the UK no long ago?? Anyway, whenever he mentions a surprise I get all excited, especially when he said he had a surprise for the UK (adelphi)

  14. Hey everyone!

So I've been wondering for a while now how to get the best positions at a gig (without allocated seats) at different types of gig.  So I was thinking we could all share our seats (or stands) and times of arrival, you know, to help out the shorter members of the MFC  :fisch:  :teehee:

    Thank you

  15. Hello, I'm a newbie!

So, I found out about Mika through a behind-the-scenes Harry Potter video on YouTube as the song playing was 'Love Today'. I think I knew the song but I didn't know who sung it, so after a bit of searching I found Mika's VEVO.  I recognized the title 'Grace Kelly' so I clicked on it and was soon bouncing around my room with joy.  I had never really had a massive interest in a particular artist before but once I'd listened to about 3 Mika songs I was already in love.  I spent the next few days binge listening to every song I could find, digging deeper and deeper into YouTube to find all the hidden aucoustics and demos.  I am still doing this now  :naughty: A little while later I bought the parc des Princes CD and after that, LICM, TBWKTM, TOOL and more recently, NPiH.  I am currently insanely excited for Mika coming to the UK sometime in the near future.  I can't however go to the Adelphi Theatre as I live right up North  :(
