    What is the meaning of ,, One Foot Boy" ?

    Hello, welcome :)

     

    In Mika's November 2009 Take40 interview with a fan named Olivia he explained, "It's about going mad. It's about .. *laughs* it's about a bunch of things. And it’s about seeing things. I used to see this little kind of gremlin-ly thing when I was a teenager, and I could see it, and I gave him a name, and I would talk about him. And the people in my class at school were kind of used to this idea. And I would use this imaginary thing.. And it looked very much like the baby in Ally McBeal." [he asks if she knows what he means, she says yes] "Kind of like this psychotic, fat-looking hairless and very strange creature which kind of causes a lot of trouble. Very much in a Roger Rabbit sort of way."

    Hi !!!

    Hahaha it seems like I never left XD

    I'm approximatly back, my exams ends on wednesday but I have two covers for you ;-)

    First of all, all she wants but I wonder if I didn't already don it XD my voice is terrible and my hair looks like an old french king but doesn't matter XD

     
    Then Celebrate 'cause I had something to celebrate and because it was totally unplanned and 'cause I just felt like doing something weird XD everything is explain on the video XD I'm sorry for being exciting and mad but that was just my mood a few days ago when I reccord this video XD
     
    That's it for the moment, please tell me what should i sing to make you happy 'cause I'll be on hollidays after my exams (so wednesday 5pm)--> D-3 and so I'll have plenty of time to sing as many songs as you will give me XD

    This girl from the Pretties magazine shoot! I don't see her mentioned anywhere in relation to it, but I figure she must be a French celebrity of some kind? Does anyone recognize her or know her name?

     

    (Sidenote: I adore the way he's holding her arm, it's so gentle and sweet  :wub: )

     

    I've been wondering the same thing! She's obviously not a very famous French celebrity, because I'm half French and I'm exposed to French media all the time, and I've never seen her before. She could be a less famous person, maybe a model? I don't know.

    Actually that is the intro for Any Other World,the woman is Raffa Kobeisi,a friend of Mika's family from Lebanon. She also appears on Grace Kelly video,you can read about her story on this thread : http://www.mikafanclub.com/topic/18978-raffa-kobeisi-story/  :wink2:

    she is the Lady who Comes out of the cake. Somewhere must be the " making of Love Today " Video and you can see how Mika laughs when they tried to put her into the cake and he talks about her.

    She's Mika's family friend from Lebanon. Even though her speech starts at the end of Relax, I think it's supposed to be an introduction to Any Other World, which is the next song on the album and was inspired by the war in Lebanon. The woman lost her eye during a bombing there.

     

     

    It's on every cd, don't worry, you're not the only one who has it. :naughty: I've never could really understand what she was saying to be honest.  :stifle:

    That's a very interesting story! And it certainly makes me look at Any Other World differently. I'm so proud of Mika for being the wonderful person he is.

    Heya everyone! :mikacool:

     

    I don't know about you, but I often see people in pictures with Mika and wonder: "who the hell is that?"

    So I thought it would be interesting to have a thread for people like me, who need to know exactly who Mika is hanging out with :bleh: Here you can help other MFCers identify people, or submit your own picture and ask "who the heck is that?"

     

    I'll be the first to do so: do any of you know who this is? (and is Mika grabbing their butt? :shocked: )

    I'm so happy that he has his own show, this is really amazing! But at the same time, the fact that it will be in Italy doesnt make me feel comfortable. Dont misunderstand please, I'm not against to Italy. The problem for me is that only one group of people will be able to understand it more. And for myself, I won't be able to understand unless someone translates, which means I can't follow this show everyweek. And I would really want to see and listen to his own show, it sounds really amazing! But I would prefer it in English, since more people would understand(I'm not saying it only for myself) but if he wants, what can we say? :)

     

    I know how you feel. I'm very happy for Mika and for all the Italian fans, but I'm sad because I don't understand one word of Italian.

    Maybe we should start learning the language? We have time to learn the basics from now til November! And we have a great incentive :D

    Hello everyone! Hope you're having a nice day :)

     

    Okay so back in June, when I was in Switzerland to see Mika (so many memories :wub:) I bought his entire discography. This morning I put Life In Cartoon Motion into the CD player so I could listen to it while doing some handiwork in the house, and at the end of Relax... surprise! A women starts taking! :shocked:  I've played the CD before many times, but I guess I always skipped this track? Or I somehow didn't notice the woman talking. In any case, I was surprised.

     

    The woman has a thick accent. She says something like: "Same day I went to dress for wedding, same day while I want married, what happened? He go married another girl. When he married another girl I am very very sad I can't walk like (???) my legs, how he married different lady? I no believe. After one month I am sat up in balcony, some bomb come for my eyes, my eyes gone now I have only one eyes. I did not marry any man after that."

     

    I'm very confused. Who is this lady? Why is she speaking at the end of Relax? Do you guys have this too or is it just my CD?

    If Mika didn't exist, I wouldn't be the same. He made me who I am today: I haven't known him for long (5 months? 6 months?) but he has influenced me in so many different ways. I'm a happier person than I was before. I'm a more active, more creative person. I aim higher, work a bit harder. 

     

    I think it's extremely important (and lucky!) that I discovered Mika at this particular time of my life. I'm at the age where reality becomes... well, very real. And that's scary. Mika is making it easier for me to accept some things and to get over others. He also encourages me to make my dreams come true.

     

    I'm so glad he exists. 

    And thank God that I found him!
