    The interviewer checked Mika's Ig and found out he's been a guest at the Elysée, and then he asked

    I: what do you eat at a president's dinner?

    Mika: I was eager to meet Brigitte (Macron's wife) and I absolutely wanted to know what we were going to eat ... (then he started talking about food) You eat well, but not too much

    I: Do you mean the portions?

    M: Yes, a little bit small.

    I: Hey Macron, are you saving on food ? 

    M: It was very formal.You had to know which fork to use and when .

    I: Were you prepared?

    M: No! In this case you have to make a choice between conversation and food. Conversations were fast and intense, all in french, and I decided to eat less  in order not to lose the conversation. Then I came home and I ate an hamburger.

    I: So, little food but lots of talk..

    M: Yeah.

     

    (they talked about what Mika was going to sing on stage, and he revealed one song: "Stardust" with Chiara Galiazzo.)

     

    In the end:

    I: Italy adopted you, You speak Italian so well... We are a bit naughty, so ..

    M: I am too 

    I: we wanted to get you in trouble with some easy tongue twister.

     

    (Then Mika started reading them and did so well!)

     

    I: You're great, not only at singing but also at italian tongue twister.

    M: these were easy.

    I: we've been good.

    He said that he'll be there for 4 days, because he has something to do, but he specified "not for a concert". It'll be his first time in Rio, he's never been there.

     

    Also, people appreciated the stage used at the Stade de France and he said he'll hopefully use it in the future. :yes:

    Yes unfortunately. :tears:

    When I tried weeks ago, it worked wonderfully instead (it was probably a free-to-air program).

    Do you remember if the show was free-to-air or cripted last years? 

    I've read several articles with plenty of other information except this one I was looking for.

    I believe Florent is tired of being a coach,and this is why he choose not to continue next year. Hasn't he been a coach from season 1 onwards, has he? 

    I feel like he thought "let's end this program as fast as possible" because he didn't seem involved with his talents at all this year (I've never focused my attention on his coaching  last years, so I'm not sure if he's always behaved like that).

    I came up with this idea when Florent said to Raffi something like (can't remember what he exactly said) "I'm not very good at this musical genre, but I'll sing it anyway with you" when talking about their duet song,  like he didn't care anymore.

    I don't think so. I was talking with a friend about Raffi Arto's performances, and we discussed about the fact that, even if Raffi is a great singer and performer, his exhibitions appeared all the same. It seemed like Raffi sang  the same kind of songs all the time, (excluding the duet with Kendji).

    Also Florent didn't even try to spur him to break some new ground, in contrast to what Mika did; this make me appreciate Mika's coaching even more.

    As Mika said, Casanova changed during the 4 weeks, we discovered a "new" Casanova  every week. Mika forced him to change because Casanova had a possibility to stay in the spotlight NOW, he had not to waste time, he had to try to  prove to people he's not normal as people thought before.

    Then ok, we can talk about the fact that Casanova did not  always seem confortable during his performances, but at least he tried, and  I appreciate that.

    What Can We Do to Make MFC Better?

    I believe that technical problems are the last reason why people don't join the forum.

     

    In my opinion, among other things already said by previous posters, one of the issue of the "bad reputation" is the lack of transparency about  how things in the Mika world work.

     

    For example, previous posters wondered: What about the roles of Mod/Rep ? So, I was looking for guidelines and I found the one regarding the Mods (how are they chosen, what they do, what are their duties.. et cetera) here->

     but not the ones about Reps (Maybe I didn't search well, i don't know :dunno:). I think publishing these guidelines could help people have answers to their question.

     

    Another problem, correlated to the transparency topic, is usually brought up  in gigs/events period on social networks, when MFC or Mika fb or Mika Italia organize competition or ticket giveaways. People start saying that  there are always the same faces to Mika events , and some also  admit that they think it is because the provider of the competiton/giveaway is doing favors to friends and acquaintanances. I believe this problem could be solved by making the winners public, (as MFC already does for the games); it could prove them  that the provider of tickets has nothing to hide, nor is doing favors to anyone. 

    -> Please understand that I'm not stating that MFC or Mika team have something to hide, but I'm trying to voice the opinion that I heard/read of several people who refuse to join MFC because of that.

    I believe the thought process  of fans who are not yet MFCers is pretty much this; Why should I subscribe on the MFC ? For  info? No, because it's easier to find them on the socials. For the competitions/giveaways? Again no, because people think that the winners are always the same; so for these reason people don't think it worth to join the MFC.(*)

    Please note that I'm not speaking for myself here ( I'm already a member ;)), I'm just reflecting about the subscription issue. I'm just an empathetic person who try to put herself in others' shoes and to see things from another perspective. 

    I don't personally believe that MFC is bad, I'm grateful for its existence as it  is the place where I met great people that have now become friends.
