In compliance with the provisions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Barley Arts is sorry to report that Mika's Revelation Tour concerts scheduled for Wednesday 15 July in Perugia, Tuesday 4 August in Taormina, Thursday 6 August in Riola Sardo (OR)  and Monday 10 August at the Arena di Verona are canceled.

 It will be possible to request vouchers from the ticket circuits by and no later than 31 July 2020. For more information on how to forward the request, consult the website of the ticket circuit that issued the ticket.

 For the Perugia concert, consult the FAQ section on the Umbria Jazz website.

Last night I dreamed that Mika was acting in a film (with an Italian actor that I really like) and the location of part of this film was the residence where I live for university. So obviously I tried to sneak into the cast by secretly entering the residence gate (but if I live there, why did I have to enter secretly? mystery😂😂).  I managed to get hired as a makeup artist, but then I can't remember anything, and obviously I wasn't able to see neither Mika nor the other actor 🙈

Sono contenta perché, leggendo i commenti sotto la foto postata dalla pagina instagram di Xfactor in cui veniva annunciato Mika tra i giudici, ho letto veramente tantissimi commenti positivi di gente entusiasta per il suo ritorno. Pochi leoni da tastiera fortunatamente, sono felice perché uno come Mika non si merita negatività

Hello! Is there a topic here or an instagram page or something that posts Mika’s outfits (with the brands and links from the sites where those clothes are from). I tried to search, but i cannot find anything☹️

I just found a really old photo from 2012 (it’s incredible that it was 8 years ago🙈) of a 13years-old me posing with Mika’s wax statue in Grevin museum in Paris😆 my phone camera was terrible, sorry but I had to post it here😄 

Tonight I dreamt that Mika had posted a Morning routine on his YouTube channel😂 And he said that every morning as soon as he gets up he curls his hair with a curler😆 and showed his technique to do it 😂😂 i don’t remember anything more from this dream 

Now we just need to wait for what Mika will say about that

Arena di Verona Show unplugged Zucchero & friends

L’ad Mazzi: concerti di Zucchero e altri «amici» e tre eventi in tivù

 

grandi organizzatori di eventi hanno deciso: nessun live per il 2021.

 

E l’Arena di Verona perde tutte le star internazionali e italiane che avrebbero reso indimenticabile l’anno musicale, rimandato al 2021.

L’Arena di Verona passerà quindi l’anno più silenzioso della sua storia?

 

Non esattamente: il 2020 regalerà qualche bella sorpresa musicale. Erano già stati annullati da tempo i concerti dei Modà (2 maggio), Benji & Fede (3 maggio), lo spettacolo comico di Enrico Brignano(9 maggio), i live di Marracash (22 maggio) e Emma (25 maggio), oltre ai Music Awards di inizio giugno. Notizia successiva al nuovo decreto legge è che l’intera programmazione verrà azzerata. Niente live della pop star Lana Del Rey (9 giugno) e del gruppo indie folk The Lumineers (12 luglio), nessuna data di addio per gli eroi mascherati del rock passati alla storia come The Kiss (13 luglio), niente risate con Ficarra e Picone (22 luglio), nessun festeggiamento per i 40 anni di musica dei Simple Minds (4 agosto), rimandata la festa con Mika (10 agosto), la celebrazione della carriera di Carmen Consoli (25 agosto) e il ritorno di Il Volo (30 e 31 agosto).

 

Ancora, in autunno non si terranno i live di Marco Masini (20 settembre), la lunghissima residence di Zucchero, fissata dal 22 settembre al 7 ottobre con l’esclusione del 28 settembre e del 5 ottobre, e il concerto di Mannarino (9 ottobre).

Tutti gli show, in mancanza di altra comunicazione, devono considerarsi rinviati, i biglietti acquistati rimarranno validi per le nuove date che verranno riprogrammate e comunicate appena possibile. Al momento l’unico concerto definitivamente cancellato è quello di Lana Del Rey visto che non potrà purtroppo essere riprogrammato nel 2021: chi ha acquistato il biglietto dovrà richiedere un “voucher” di pari valore entro il 19 giugno. Ma ecco la sorpresa. «L’Arena non resterà comunque senza musica per quest’anno – annuncia Gianmarco Mazzi, amministratore delegato di Arena di Verona Srl – siamo già in lavorazione avanzata per la realizzazione di tre grandi eventi televisivi a settembre che porteranno di nuovo Verona con il suo monumento simbolo in tutt’Italia».

 

Ma se la registrazione di questi spettacoli televisivi sarà a porte chiuse, ancora più interessante sembra essere la seconda idea di Mazzi per rompere il silenzio dell’Arena. «Stiamo lavorando perché si possano tenere in Arena alcuni show unplugged, rispettando le normative sugli afflussi di pubblico – spiega l’ad – penso a quegli artisti che qui hanno già tenuto show memorabili e che sono legati da un grande amore per l’anfiteatro veronese».

 

Fino al 31 luglio, ma facilmente prorogabile per mesi, il nuovo decreto legge in materia di emergenza sanitaria vieta infatti gli assembramenti di persone, lasciando la possibilità, in sintesi, a concerti che al chiuso non debbano avere un pubblico di più di 200 persone mentre all’aperto 1000 paganti. Tutto questo con l’obbligo di controlli all’ingresso (distanziamento e misurazione della temperatura corporea), che sia mantenuto il distanziamento sociale durante lo show e che il pubblico indossi le mascherine.

Si può ipotizzare quindi un live in acustico, chitarra e voce, senza band e produzione alle spalle, di qualche «amico dell’Arena». Il primo nome in cima alla lista sarebbe proprio quello di Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari, già protagonista di lunghe residence areniane negli anni passati e ora orfano delle 14 date autunnali.

 

Nelle ipotesi, altri artisti particolarmente legati all’anfiteatro cittadino potrebbero essere Emma Marrone (che aveva scelto l’Arena per il suo ritorno live), Luciano Ligabue (anche lui protagonista di alcune memorabili residence), Il Volo, Gianni Morandi e, perché no, visto che sognare non costa nulla, anche Adriano Celentano che proprio all’Arena aveva tenuto i suoi ultimi due concerti della carriera nel 2012. Meno probabile che qualche star internazionale possa essere protagonista di questi live unplugged, ma la cosa non è esclusa a priori.

You're right about the silently sitting down vs dancing and loudly singing. But it's not nearly sold out, look at the seating map on the ticketone.it website. And it seems they want to fill all the tribunes, the whole circle, while the tickets for Mika are only a half circle - I bet the opera shows are sold out as well, so I'm sure they've considered the space issues. And it wouldn't be the first time Mika performs on a stage in the center of an arena.

 

There's a lot of other issues of course, like his band and crew having to get there from abroad, people not staying in their seats, as you say, and much more. So I agree it's not likely. But it seems to be more likely than before, when I was 99% sure it'd be cancelled. Now I'm only about 90% sure.

it would be better for the concert to be postponed and done in a greater way the next year, rather than to be done anyway but having to comply with all the rules😔 also because lots of people who already bought the ticket from other countries, I don't know if they want to come to Italy in such a bad period 🥺

In fact, I've been wondering the same after seeing this video, but I think it's just the light that makes his hair look a little grey there, and maybe the Greek sun making it a little lighter - we've just seen him on IG live 1,5 weeks ago, and that's not enough time to grow grey hair. He might dye it though. I'm sure he has done something with his hair since the Heaven tour, because there we feared he might soon get bald, and on this tour nothing could be seen of that anymore, on the opposite. No idea what he did to achieve that (I should ask him at some point, so I can tell my husband... ), but generally I'm convinced that although he is a naturally good looking guy, not everything about his excellent looks is all natural.

i was wondering that, about the grey hair, because my boyfriend has the same age as Mika, and started with grey hair about 5/6 years ago 😅 but as you said, it depends on the genetic. 
About the fact that you said, of him getting bald, i haven’t noticed that (because in the heaven period i didn’t follow him so much), maybe he could have make some hair transplant (it is very common in italy, a lot of celebrities did it). In fact Mika’s father hasn’t got much hair (also in the photos of younger Mika, when he was younger too), but I think Mika looks more like his mom, both as regards the face and the "colors", the father seems clearer.

About the fact that not everything about him is natural (I'm absolutely not against changes if they serve to improve without upsetting), he’s very good looking anyway😍

anyway the first thing i noticed years ago when i first saw his childish photos, is that he has straight hais in that photos. Maybe now he periodically does a perm to curly his hair, because since 2007 Mika=curly hair even if they aren’t natural.

Or maybe in the younger photos his mother used to straight his hair as a children to look more orderly-looking? I don’t think so

Mika é una persona molto attenta ed è anche un po’ ipocondriaco... sinceramente ha stupito anche a me questa cosa ma poi ho notato che si trovavano a casa di Mika (Si vede la cucina con gli stickers dietro), quindi ho pensato che fosse andata lei a portare del cibo a domicilio e hanno fatto una foto di corsa e poi lei è andata via. Se fossero stati nel suo negozio sicuramente avremmo visto anche lui protetto😊

per cui non c’è da preoccuparsi 😊
