The lights on the ice ring also resembled the cover. It certainly looked colorful. But after a near perfect routine, it was Tim’s failure to pull off the required element spin that cost him the competition and spelt victory for his celeb chum Steve - giving the ex-javelin thrower his third skate off scoop in a row. A disappointed Tim waved to his fans and supporters in the audience after he received the bad news, and told Phil and Holly he was sad to go: "Every week has been exciting and a real privilege. All of us have enjoyed it so much.” Then he took to the ice for the final time and gave a lap of honour with the lovely Victoria.
