pianogirlsammy Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 MIKA has such a differnt sound to his voice, and sometimes its hard to tell what he says the first time we hear the song. We all are used to differetn accents depending on where we live, and this factor plus how Mika is always in falsetto often makes us hear other things. What were some of the lyrics you misunderstood when you first heard LICM or any of his songs? (It might be a little embarassing, but its all good! Here are some of my dumb mistakes!) Heres my examples: SITM- Ours is a family that's based upon tradition But with my careless words I tread upon your vision. Are five kids better than one, who'd busy like to be gone? HEARD- Houses are family needs, that's based upon tradition. But with my kidish words, I tread upon your vision. Are five kids better than one? Who doesnt like to be calm? SITM-This is to my name, This ain't a pretty plan to break your heart of me. I know that what I've started means that when we have parted I can live in honesty. HEARD- The story to our lives, this is a greater plan to break your heart. Over me. I know that what Iv'e started means that when we have parted I can live an honest day. RING RING- You make me dizzy when you play me Like a kid with a crown HEARD- You make me dizzy when you PLAY MEAN like a kid with a crown. RING RING- But if I did you made me. HEARD- But if I ditch you maybe... ;D RTIE- But the pain and the longings the same. Where the dying. Now im lost. HEARD- But the pain and the lonliest way to die and... now Im lost... RTIE- Relax, take it easy Blame it on me or blame it on you. HEARD- Relax, take it easy. But Ill be keepin and eye on you...
