  1. maaaaaaaaaan !!! that Rain song is the most boring yet agressive for the ears song EVER !!!!!!! i finally listened to it from the paris gig recording (yes, i'm that rushed to get into his nex songs :wink2: ) but maaaaaaaaaaaaan... i wish i had waited a bit more... like... for ever ? :bleh:

no seriously... i don't like... nothing to see with How Much Do You Love Me that i really like... this one seems just whiny whiny whiny... maybe the studio version will make it better ?? maybe...

  2. I really just cannot be bothered to care about Mika's latest gigs, or even to read the forum while that's being talked about. It just seems like too much work to catch up to bother.

Whatever, he played something somewhere. Whatever, he had clowns. Whatever, "Relax" sucked. Whatever, there's a new song, it's pretty good. Sigh.

Maybe the resident apples who were there could give the the cogent details and interesting parts of their experiences in a nutshell? I wanted to read Sariflor's and babs' review but got lost in the looooooong gig thread...

same here !! same here !!!! :punk:

  3. hey guys ! katy posted a thread on the katyperryforum : she gave some news about how she is (knackered) and told us that she would hit the rest of the world from september :wink2:

  4. eating less is the only way to lose weight more or less quickly :wink2: not saying "stop eating" but eat the same in smaller portions and go on with the exercise... no need to stop every sugar or juice... the only food for the brain is sugar, the only thing you would get is being less efficient and less motivated which leads to inactivity and eating more because you feel sad (in the extremes, i'm not saying it's in the second you stop sugar). if you feel like you're eating sweets all day long, then yes, this sugar is not necessary. unless you drink 10 coffees with 2 full spoons of sugar in each, it shouldn't be the problem. eat what you want, what you like, in smaller portions. and if you feel like eating a fantastic anything full of sugar once, just do it. frustration leads to putting on weight. true true true.

  5. I agree. I've noticed that when I Kissed a Girl surfaced, just about everyone started saying how much they love Katy Perry...

well... they worked for it :wink2: i was saying that maybe i wish they had chosen something else to bomb the waves... cause i kissed a girl is a style into which you quickly get stuck in

  6. And i was expecting "i kissed a girl" to be a hella of a lot better due to all the hype. But its alright.

it's not my fav of her... the other songs definitely need to be heard :wink2:

  7. yeah.... I have always told ppl that those two are very similar to each other, but noone would believe me....

oh... I :wub2: Zooey... she is lovely! and she was great in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" lol ... and her older sister Emily (plays dr. Tempe 'Bones' Brennan at tv drama "Bones") is pretty too... (but Zooey is more delicate...).... and her piupils are REALLY small at that pic LOL... like she was stoned or sth LOL

    oooooooooooooooh !!! that's her older sister !!! i was wondering... :thumb_yello:

  8. she is not dressed like katy :naughty: they just incredibly look alike, so when they wear something quite similar (same colour, same style, etc.) it becomes harder to make the difference... katy's got much bigger boobs though, and more curves in general...

  9. I don't actually remember the movie "emphasizing" her that much...:naughty:

    boleyngirl4L_468x306.jpg

well... i haven't seen the movie and barely watched the posters, i talked without knowing, but everytime i see her face, i think of her boobs :naughty: must be because that's what everybody is talking about when talking about her... and i don't like her much, i think she looks stupid... only my opinion, though, but that prevents me from watching any movie she's in cause i'll spend the time of the movie pesting about how she looks stupid :roftl: ...

P.S. If it helps it's not that I was like "the ruffs are wrong! I cannot watch the film!" but that I couldn't tell whether the precise type of ruffs that were shown were appropriate to the time period, or, as was my suspicion, would not have come into style till 5 years later. Trying to figure out if the ruffs used starch or boning was the thing that eventually made me grow too distracted to finish watching the movie. If I could have reliably determined "oh yes, they're accurate" or "nope, that technique of making them was not yet invented," I'd not have been half so bothered.

... which brings me to that : i watched once a French movie (the sequel of L'Auberge Espagnole, i don't remember its name... with the guy i don't remember the name of...) and the movie was not so bad... until the very last image (don't read if you wanna see it) where the guy was going to London and the girl was waiting for him just next to the Eurostar   i mean really on the arrival platform !! NOOOOOOOOO !!!! it's NOT like that !! neither in Waterloo, neither in St Pancras !! it has NEVER been like that, you have a whole hall to go through before you reach your friends/family/etc. waiting for you... but for the sake of the love story, the girl was on the platform... you know what ?? i didn't like the movie because of that... it was all i could think about in the end ! i don't even remember the name of it... so you're not alone, jack...

    Hey Yop! *waves*

How long are you vacationing in Martinique?

staying a bit more than 2 months, but only 10 days + the week ends of pure vacation, i start working full time at the hospital on june 30th :wink2:

  10. Yes, every 21st of June, in the city there's band playing almost everywhere, actually in my town there will be sth great, they even convinced Micky Green

It's huge here, and all night the subway/bus is free, there's lots of ppl in the streets. I think in other countries in Europe they do it too.

La Fête de La Musique is 100% French :mf_rosetinted: was created by Jack Lang, former minister of Culture a few years ago (don't ask too much :naughty:) and since it was a brilliant idea (isn't it, really !), and a few other countries accross Europe indeed decided to do it (celebrate music one day in the year)... I don't know if it's on the same day everywhere, though...

I'm happy to see how far it has come ! it's a brilliant idea, as i said before, and brilliant enough to say it 3 times :biggrin2: people all over the country are making this day musical (more or less good :fisch:), in the streets, the bars, special events, real concerts, etc. and everybody's happy :punk: for one day... can't participate tomorrow, sadly... for a good reason : i'm flying to Martinique !!! :yay:
