Exactly what Mark said! In truth though, I didn't find out about it until too late and it would've meant getting a babysitter and travelling down on my own. As you know I am a bit of a wuss! ...and a bit scared about being made to wear a rather tight blue basque! I thought Ophelia was going to burst out of hers on Thursday... and I think Mark was hoping she would! :roftl:

Oh Nooooooooo!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE that we missed out on this! We finally found a gig that allowed in the Mikamites, so we were THERE! We couldn't get there until the queue outside was WAY along the street, so we had no chance of being near all of you, but we SAW you down at the front, with your Mikafanclub card. We were up on the balcony. At least the children had a great view from up there - they're far too short to see anything from below unless they'd been at the very, very front.

 

But it would have been absolutely WONDERFUL to meet you all. Serves me right for not checking in here so much lately! RL just takes over sometimes... Ah well. I'm SURE there'll be a next time (sigh!) Gill xxxxx

There are 4 more people hooked after last night too! (I already was!) In fact Dawn & Charlie went to see Queen last year and Dawn said Mika was better and Charlie (who is a die hard Queen fan) said it was as good but different (I think he meant better lol:naughty: ) and as for Charlotte, well she just stood there at the end when he cam out taking photos and saying "My God, he is soo fit" lol!

Thanks Wendi! It was wierd - definitely mixed emotions! Mika was standing a few feet away from me on one side and my hubby was a few feet the other side trying to sort the car out! - Bizarrely enough, talking to Mikas dad!!! I didn't know which way to turn - so just kind stood in the middle feeling helpless lol!! Oh well, we did park it in the car park from hell!!! And the night was so fantastic, it didn't spoil it!

I think we'll catch the train this time though!! Journey home last night was a nightmare! Mark couldn't see out of his window so coming out of junctions and off slip roads onto the motorway it was a case of - toe down, close eyes and pray!!!! Then the plastic came half off the window on the M6 just outside Birmingham and it was deafening in the car so we pulled into the services and took it off. The rest of the journey was a bit cold and blowy to say the least!! Oh well, it's getting fixed tomorrow and it was such a great night that the good far outweighs the bad

OMG It has taken me over an hour to read all your wonderful (or should that be Mikaful) stories. I am soooooo made up for all of you!

Hi Jemma - you said I would love it, and my god were you right!!!!!

The last tour date on the Uk tour was definately a huge jumble of emotions in the end but it ended Brilliantly ..im still sulking about leaving before that picture was taken though but i will get over it

I'm gutted I missed it too Bex, worst thing was though that I still there but trying to clear glass out of the car! Dawn and Charlotte screamed me to come over cos they realised that the picture ws being taken and tried to push me so that I got in it too, but I realised that the only place for me to stand would be either behind Mika (and I am about a foot shorter than him lol!) or to sit at his feet, which I was a bit embarrassed about - I don't think I would be thanked for blocking out any part of him on that photo lol!

The MFC pic is just great , what a result for us all :thumb_yello:
