Well, I'm definately going to have to come along then & make a day of it -it will be BRILL:wink2: ! I only need 1 ticket (l'il old me) & e bay seems to be all pairs at the moment so if anyone knows of 1 single ticket going spare let me know. Is there a meet up point/time yet?

Help -I'm confused - is this gig on FRI 18th coz if it is I'm going to get me a ticket off ebay.

Is this gig on the 13th or 18th - it says 18th on the forum calendar which is a Fri so I'd be able to go. Pls can someone confirm day and date for me. Thanks

The groping girl has gone to my Gary's head now - he came home from work & said he'd been chatted up on the phone to a Vodafone rep - aw c'mon - as if!!!!!

We are seeing all his mates (new baby visit) on Sat & they'll all be haning off his every word!! Sad oldlings or what!!!!!!!!

Once I've worked out how to upload the pics to this I'll put them on later.

Met up with filip (Liz) & had a great time. MIKA was awesome - but it seemed to be over too quickly - could have listened to it all again! Off to work.

Me too -Hope to see you there. I've got a home-made Mika fan club badge with my name on so keep a look out for me.

I'll be there. Will definitely wear a rosette.... maybe a Queen t-shirt as I haven't got a Mika one yet.

Just had wonderful news - one of my best friends (big Mika fan - was due to come with me tonight) just had her baby last night - a little girl called Katie:p , so this is going to be the BEST day ever!!!! She said not being able to see Mika was her 1st sacrifice as a parent

Kro bar Sounds fine - do you know it's def Academy 1 - I checked? We'll be there about 6.45 ish. I have spare ticket (face value only as it's a freind of mine's that can't go).

If there's only the 3 of us, we really should touch base on the night - I've got akind of mock up fan club badge I made - I didn't realise there were 'proper' ones, so printed & laminated one today!

We're aiming to get there early enough for a drink, so which pub (I don't know the area well)

cant believe its just us liz! on the academy website when u go to purchase tickets it says that the venue has changed but it doesnt say where to... anyone have any information on this?

Phew - I thought I'd have to be the crazed stalker & get all the photos but my hubby might have been a bit unkeen (being a sensible kinda guy & all that!) so you 2 can do it.

Home for lunch - should be eating it but doing this instead. Dog walked tho' so done my duty

Haha just watched that TT performance form Dancing on ice But I don't think it looks AS stupid when he is actually doing lead vocals, then it's alright to get a bit over the top, although getting on his knees several times and jumping onto the piano in the end maybe was pushing it a bit

Yeah, but weren't Torvill & Dean just fab - takes you back to the Bolero days - maybe this thread should go over to 'The Oldlings Thread'!!
