This has given me inspiration as to what career to pursue when I grow up.... a Mika-holic doctor! I've always been interested in medicine:roftl:

My husband and I had a conversation along these lines tonight -- we were listening to the radio and they played Nelly Furtado (who I actually like) backed by Timbaland. Then two songs later, they played a new song by Timbaland featuring... Nelly Furtado! The songs sounded so similar... And so much on the radio sounds the same. Nickelback sounds like Daughtry and Fall Out Boy sounds like Panic! at the Disco and, well, you get the idea... It's not that I dislike any of these (except maybe Daughtry, sorry if I offend anyone). It's just that they all sound like each other -- that's why when someone like Mika comes along it's SO refreshing... but, that's not necessarily what the majority is looking for. After all, we live in a country where American Idol is considered quality entertainment, and so-called reality shows reign...

 

I guess we get what the masses demand...

Gracious me, I could rant on and on about American Idol....aasjda's;fka (don't worry, I don't particularly like Daughtry either)

I'm very agitated and disappointed with the music that's being played on the radio in Texas. I've stopped listening to it. Also with many people not being open to music other than something that they can bump and grind on the dance floor (especially here in the south!). *sigh* </rant>

I went to Walmart, and they didn't have it out yet! I'm going to Best Buy to get my copy with the 2 bonus tracks! woooo

In a radio interview with Jonathan Ross (I think), they somehow got on the topic of height and weight and J Ross guessed that Mika was about 11 stones and Mika laughed and said 'of course'. That's.... 155-ish pounds? Which is... 70-ish kilos, I think.

Thats why i always stand near people fatter than me, cause i look skinnier....espeically in pe at school....

Note that Best Buy's official site [http://www.bestbuy.com] lists "Happy Ending" as track 12. Track 14 is "Love Today [Acoustic Version]" and Track 15 is "Satellite [Acoustic Version]". I can only assume track 13 (which is probably hidden) is of course "Over My Shoulder".

 

Target also has 2 exclusive bonus tracks, according to their weekly ad. Can anyone confirm what these are? Hopefully these will be different from the Best Buy bonus tracks. (I'm guessing an acoustic version of "Grace Kelly" will be featured instead. I would love to get "Your Sympathy"). Well, I'll find out Tuesday. Also, both Best Buy and Target have the album on sale for $7.98! No reason not to pick this up at either or both locations. Excellent price!
